They installed our whole home RO system which was about $6,000 in 2020. They showed up a year later for the annual maintenance. 2022 we skipped because we couldnt even get through due to Hurricane Ian making tons of work for everyone. In 2023 I called and made an appointment. I took the day off of work since I live in North Port and work in Tampa. They never showed up. When I called to ask when they would be there, they said "oh.. you made your appointment for next week". This was despite having the automated appointment text messages. I went along and they showed up the second time. Last year they did the same thing. Never showed up and then claimed I had changed my appointment. I explained that was BS and had the text messages (and the date they claimed, I had a chemo treatment so I know I didnt plan for them too, because they made an issue one time of needing me home so they can get inside the fence). This year I called and made an appointment. 8am to 12p window. I took the day off of work, planned a bunch of errands for the afternoon since now my morning was busy. Their guy didnt show up until 1:15pm. He then told me if I wanted the membrane replaced (they hadnt touched it in 4 years) it would be $500!!!! It was 3 bolts.. I looked on Amazon and the filter was between $85 and $120 depending on brand) and easy to replace. I was like WTF. Then he said the service call was about $145 but if he replaces the sediment filter it was $160 ($15 for the filter). I explained that I had a few foam style (not the woven yarn-like ones they use) and replace them every month since I had bought the wrong ones a while back and the foam ones clog quickly so I just replace them every month until I use them I p.and then I will order the woven ones that last 3-6 months. So I told him not to worry about the sediment filter or the membrane. He then "cleaned the unit" which took all.of 5 minutes. When he left he said "$160". I told him I had refused the sediment filter. He said "No problem, just do the $145 and give me one of your filters" so I did. When I went out 2 days later to replace the membrane, I was showing my wife the sediment filter. When I opened it - MY FILTER was still there. He tried to hit me for an extra $15 for work he hadnt done. It was easy to spot since it was a month old and dark w sediment still AND foam, not the woven ones they use. Crappy company, poor customer service, WAY overpriced, never been on time, and now you can add scammer/liar to the list. Charging a 500% markup on the membrane that takes 10 minutes to replace is just crappy too. read more

Driving down Everglades in Naples, one of their trucks with the flashers on were passing me and other vehicles erratically in a school zone during parent pick up. Going 80 in a 45, had to catch up to get a video of how crazy it was. Called and talked to a young lady who said she would transfer me to someone to make a complaint and was hung up on, called again and spoke to a man who could care less . This driver put their life and others in danger, customer service was useless. read more

Installation went well, the salesman promised more than he could which is typical for a sales person. They offer a gift card for a referral, after he was given the referral you get no gift card typical salesman crap. Blame it on corporate. how can you promise a gift card for a referral and then have to wait for corporate not very good local business. read more

Aqua Systems serviced our water system for about 7 years, do not sign up with them. They are the most expensive in our area and offer nothing but changing filters for way too much per month. If anything needs fixing it's ALL out of pocket, the $150 per month covers absolutely nothing. We called once to ask if a guy actually came out on a service day because we were home & didn't notice their truck or receive a knock at our door but we sure got a bill for it. They canceled our service just for asking that question. If I could put negative stars I would read more

This was such a smooth job. The owner was super helpful in clearly explaining the options, to a new Florida resident. The on site tech that did the setup was great. I have to let everyone know about an incredible business that goes "above and beyond" Aqua Systems and their staff. I have been with Aqua Systems for close to one decade now. Brian is either the owner or co-owner. I believe this company is so exceptional because of Brians leadership and personality. Brian has spoken to my husband Nick many times over our water system. My husband is someone that wants to learn to do things for himself and countless times Brian has troubleshoot over the phone with my husband. Brian your will no longer be an unsung hero! Brian we appreciate all the time and hours you have given us through the years. Yesterday we had a problem that could not be solved over the phone cause my husband tried but Brian was looking out for us again and sent us Taylor. Taylor please take a bow. You fixed the problem and we feel like we made a friend in the business. This Company is very trustworthy and they try to help you as best as they can. This guy that came to our house was actually one of the managers. I will always do business with them because of how honest he was. Before him we had Crystal Clear water guy come out. And that guy was a complete liar trying to tell us to replace everything and how we should just upgrade and he brought in this tester to test the water and how do we know that the ones that he brought from where ever doesn't have chemicals to make it super clear in it before he has the water in it. I think that Crystal Clear water is a complete scam and will take advantage of you. and he was so disrespectful to my mother on the phone. Crystal Clear guy said things to my mom where we will never do business with them ever! BUT AQUA Systems IS 100% reliable, trustworthy, friendly, respectful, knowledgeable, and will go out of there way to help you and for you to be happy. They are very hard workers and deserve the best. AQUA water is the way to go, if you want your water to flow. Just right every night. Drink the water is like drinking freshness that's real and everlasting. I love AQUA Systems. Used them in the past but this last situation took three trips, two visit charges at $88 a piece plus a new faucet for another $40. Over the course of a month and a half of scheduling and a total spent of approx $270, for replacing a $40 faucet to stop a leak under my sink that damaged my cabinets, this experience is finally over. I will say Jeff was a super nice guy who came out on a Saturday and the other time on his way home, and he is the owner from my understanding. If it wasn't for his customer service I am ranking this 2 instead of a 1 star experience. My major issue is the problem should have been corrected and fixed the first time, not the third and charge the customer $170 for making two trips (no charge for the middle trip). I'll pay it because I'm that kind of person and customer but after five years using this company, I won't be in the future and won't refer clients as I have in the past. read more

I set an appointment and changed the name from the previous owner of residence. They didn't show or call after 4 hours so I called them n rescheduled. They hadn't updated the name of the owner either. Both times I was told $99. Also a lady several days later called to reschedule the appointment n asked me if I'd tell her when we'd set it up for because everything was on a board on the wall so it's hard to find one person's appointment. She said the schedule isn't on a computer which would make it much easier. Tech was professional but was told to bring me extra filters. I asked if I had to pay for them. He said yes. I was told total was $221 or so. No one said first filters were in addition to the price I was quoted which turned out to only be a labor quote. Randy, the owner, told me he did not believe me and his employees would never make a mistake like that. He also said no way of knowing which filters I'd need. I had the tech take the extra 3 filters back with him n was charged $158. When I ask in two different calls how much it will cost me from the company that installed the unit, they know which filters are going to be used. read more

Our entire water system needed to be replaced, they were very fair with pricing, tested all our equipment. The owner himself came to our home to review our equipment and show us their products. The two gentlemen that came to our home to install were so professional, knowledgeable, courteous, I would highly recommend making them your first and only call if you need your water system done or maintenance. Have been with Aqua Systems for years. I've had all my rental properties with them. The first five years were great. The last two years have been TERRIBLE. Had to stop using their services. They couldn't deliver salt as scheduled, they would forget houses that needed service. They overcharged on billing. Including double withdrawal from card on file. You call to complain it's always someone not doing their job right. They can't keep employees. The business is a mess. Shop around, you will find a better company than this. read more
