My son enjoyed his time at Aqua-Tots Cypress. He began at 15 months and is now 5 years old. This school did a great job of teaching him the fundamentals and helped him to develop a love for the water. He cried during every class for the first three months and now begs us to go swimming. The front desk staff has always been friendly and greets my son by name each time he walks in the front door. We ultimately left because we were ready to put my younger son in swim lessons and this location had no time slots available at the same time to accommodate both. The one improvement I would have loved during our time there was to have consistent swim instructors. My son would grow attached to an instructor and then they would either move to other classes or leave altogether. Luckily, he was able to adapt to a different instructor each time that it happened. read more

I should have listened to all the bad reviews of this place! The people up front are rude. When your kid finally gets comfortable with an instructor, they end up quitting. We were there for a few months and had more instructors than I can count! We did private lessons ($50) for half an hour and they always started late and ended early. I tried it for my 2 yr old and I feel like she never learned anything. It seemed like employees there were only there for paychecks. No patience or experience with kids who need to actually be taught and not just rushed and motioned with the swim lessons. There were 2 employees who actually seemed like they cared and were involved in teaching my daughter, but they left. Good concept just need more professionalism involved. read more

Tell me why i just got told that coach taylor ignored my child under water that my kid is terrified to swim now, shes 4!!!!!!! . Tell me why coach Taylor was " racist" towards my child that she treated a child of her color with care and tried to drown mine with negligence of mine under water and forgetting my kid was UNDER WATER. The instructor is a college student is what i was told. She was not paying attention AT ALL WHEN MY CHILD WAS UNDERWATER. This location is a HORRIBLE , they IGNORE YOUR CHILDREN!!! DO NOT GO HERE!!! I am giving it three stars for the actually facility and the swim instructors. I had a horrible experience here recently - where an untruth was told by a counter staff. So unprofessional and yuck! My now 5 year old has been attending lessons here since he was 18 months old (shortly after they opened). We absolutely love it here! The staff is very friendly and welcoming and do their absolute best to work with your child's needs. My son decided he wants to swim on a competitive summer league and since he mentioned it they have been working tirelessly with him to ensure he is ready come April! Preston and Xavier are our favorite instructors, they are both Master Instructors and make lesson time fun and educational for the kiddos. We wouldn't go anywhere else!! read more

This business needs lessons in professionalism and customer service. We began classes in August 2015 in the Mommy and Me level class. We were pleased; as our daughter graduated, we started see the instructors slipping a bit and not really encouraging her to progress and move forward. They let her make the decisions--this doesn't work for a strong willed three year old. Instructors were mostly great, but the front desk would never let you know ahead of time if an instructor was out or a sub would in place. We went to one lesson where the instructor was late, and they did not think anything of shortening her lesson to less than 20 minutes due to his tardiness. My biggest complaint comes from their customer service side. On May 1, we signed our 30-day notice, but I wasn't sure if we would extend it. Her last lesson with Aqua Tots was awful. I clocked the time spent in the water with an instructor, and it was less than 5 minutes total. The behavior was terrible, including hers, because they weren't engaged or being supervised while the instructor was working with another child. I brought this to the front desks attention, and they went in to watch it. On June 2, I was charged for another month of service, even though I signed the termination agreement in the appropriate amount of time. It is now June 22, and I still have not received a refund because the general manager is out of the country. The supervisor promises it will be taken care of but can't give me a time frame in which my money will be returned. I do not recommend this business location or its services to anyone. read more

Both my kids have been coming for a month now and we love all instructors here. They are all great. Major problem though is the front desk and the scheduling. Once again I have shown up for class and my son is "not scheduled".. Per the others moms here, it apparently happens very often. The front girls just stood there and tried to turn me away. I insisted we stay the class that clearly only had 1 child. They seemed bothered and annoyed that I asked him to join the age appropriate class that had an opening in his level class. read more

Horrible experience. They will switch the instructor you picked with no permission. Will charge your credit card without authorization. Cancel your classes without notice. Very disorganized. Only a few of the instructors actually are good and Care for the kids. My daughter has had multiple classes where nothing has been learned. The front staff are careless and don't really do much about it... The place is to expensive to get such poor customer service. Run the other way.... read more

The owner of aquatots is the most unprofessional person I've ever came into contact with. I have been a customer since they opened their doors and had my son enrolled twice a week, one day we were paying for, and another day his grandmother was paying for as a birthday present. They kept overcharging our cards and could not get the payments correct, so eventually we had to take our cards off file and just pay at the first of the month. In june, since our cards were not on file, I planned to pay for his class at the start of the lesson for june, but before I had a chance, I received an email from the owner saying he had been dropped from all of his classes. She did not try to contact me over the phone, give a courtesy call, nothing, just dropped him from the class, while he even had 3 makeups to do that we've already paid for. I tried to contact the owner but she never called me back. they are seriously lacking in the lesson aspect of it too, as kids I know learn to float and swim by 3 or 4 months, while here they drag it out so you just pay more money for longer. Do not take your children here, not only is it ineffective but they do not care for or appreciate their customers. read more

I am so glad that I found a very nice and clean swimming pool for my 1 year old boy, we started the lessons when he was 81/2 months old and he loves it!!! the water is warm, the schedule is perfect, the instructor Xavier is good and the money we pay is well worth it. I signed up my 3-yo daughter to take swim lessons 1x a week. One of the reasons I selected this school was because they offer make-up classes. I called today to schedule a make-up class since my daughter missed her class last night and they informed me that because I didn't call before the class and because she was marked as a "no-show" they were unable to offer a make-up class. I am beyond annoyed. I understand if I waited a few days or weeks but I called less than 24 hours from her original class time. They were closed this weekend due to the holiday so I couldn't call when I first realized we had a conflict. I tried yesterday morning but no one answered. I didn't have a chance to try again until this morning. I will likely be cancelling since it doesn't appear that they have any desire to work with families and keep reasonable customers happy. read more

It is fine with me. My son is learning a lot and has fun. Sometimes the lessons get repetitive but my son is getting better so I don't have any complaints. Scheduling is pretty simple and they are generous with make-up days. This is a great place to get your kids acclimated to the pool and swimming. read more
