I came here to get my daughters first pair of glasses. They charged me ($450) for glasses that were only $80 at all other vendors i researched. I also learned they had a Groupon for $49 for the eye exam they charged me ($350). They refused to provide me a refund even though I called 10 minutes after leaving the appointment . I never received the 2 pairs of glasses I ordered. I decided to dispute the charge since I never received the glasses, they did respond to the dispute ensuring i was charged... yet I have never heard from them and till this day months later still don't have the glasses they charged me $1600 dollars for. DO NOT GO HERE, IF YOU DO MAKE SURE YOU USE A GROUPON, DONT DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH THEY WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU. read more

Dr. Mezu was very knowledgeable and explained everything to me some this was my first time wearing contacts. They was so patient teaching me how to apply and remove contacts. I really can't NOT recommend this place enough. I work in ophthalmology, but sometimes it's hard to arrange my own appointments where I work because I just can't find the time to do it. I liked that this place had Saturday hours so I made an appointment. The truth is, my eyes aren't very complicated so I was not worried about my refraction being a problem. The front desk staff was nice, so I can at least say that. However, the equipment was not cleaned off for me. The optometrist showed up and didn't introduce herself. She was wearing jeans and sneakers with no lab coat or anything so I didn't even realize at first that she was the doctor. She checked my vision without correction with the lights all the way up (WRONG). She plugged the values from the autorefractor into the phoropter and just basically said "here's your prescription". She never measured my current glasses which is also wrong because you always do your refraction based off the current rx. I was getting a contact lens eval and they gave me some to try and I said the one looked blurry and she was like "well, that's your prescription". I asked if there was a possibility of getting dailies for my contact lenses and they said they didn't make them for toric, which I found out is wrong. I ordered them online... Last, my boyfriend had an appointment and has to get his license renewed and they wanted to charge him $25 to send in his visual acuity to the mva. That is absolutely ridiculous. I have worked in two different ophthalmology practices and they have never charged for that. On top of that, the place is just kind of gross looking. No one tried to help with glasses or anything. Honestly, I wish I could have just done everything myself. I couldn't believe how wrong everything was. I don't know how you get to be an optometrist and not know the very simplest, basic rules of refraction. Definitely don't go here. I reserve 1-star reviews for only the very worst and I believe this place is just terrible. A total waste of time and money. Wanting to warn people of this place was a huge reason why I even created a yelp account. read more

Best Place ever for your eye exam. I loved that they were able to do a walk in for me. The doctors and staff are very professional. Everywhere was clean and nice and their frames were washed and sanitized. They also do temp checks and ask COVID questions and I was able to do my forms online which was helpful. I will definitely return with my kids. I wish I could give a 6 star. They definitely have a patient for life. read more

My appt time was at 12p and I got there 10 minutes early, I was greeted and seen as soon as I walked through the door. I did get a Groupon for the contact lenses exam and the staff was pleasant and professional. They did a price match with 1-800 contacts. They said they would be available for pick up in 2-3 days. I explained to them that I lived about 40 minutes away from their location and they said they would ship them to my house free of charge. Found place on Groupon experience wasn't the best since I had to return more than 4 or 5 times. Typically I'm in for an exam, pick up, then I move on with my life, but it took months to get things right as I was repeatedly given the wrong prescription. Two stars because they remained polite and provided good customer service. Staff was friendly and helpful. Got a contact lens exam that was a bit sketchy to say the least and should have been my sign to leave but I had already purchased a Groupon and figured I should just go through with it. It was more trouble than it was worth. Some more training is definitely needed. Would not return or recommend. read more

This is my second time going back for a contact lens exam, prescription, and fitting. The doctor recommended I use Toric lenses on my left eye, which might be better for my vision. So, I'm glad she did that. I realised that my prescription had my wrong name (misspelt) and address (old one) when I got home, I forgot to check the paper when I was leaving. Her assistant student had a great "bedside" manner. You don't see that these days. I love the fact that they use Groupon's but realised when I got home that I was charged $50 for the visit when the Groupon was actually less (maybe due to a weekend deal). I should have bought the Groupon beforehand and claimed it there. I wish she gets more business from the Groupon deal, so it makes it more worthwhile for her. I wish smaller optometrists would get deals from bigger contact lens companies. I was willing to buy contacts from her, but I got the Acuvue 2 for $17, and Acuvue toric for $23 from lens.com with free shipping (so I didn't have to go pick anything up). It was a lot more expensive from the optometrist. I would rec. this clinic for eye exams and such. I don't buy my glasses from shops anymore, so I can't say how affordable their options are. I use zenni.com and get $500 glasses for $80. I have a feeling these clinics will need to start ordering from the big guys online wholesale and give the benefit of home shipping. Things are getting very competitive. I hope good doctors like this get worthwhile business. I would recommend others to use the Groupon and visit this doc. Thanks. read more

The doctor is irresponsible and unprofessional. We bought a groupon for a comprehensive contact lens exam. You would think"Comprehensive"=contact lens exam + fitting. But apparently the practice does not agree. So, Several things happened: 1. We tried to get contacts for the first time, INSTEAD OF making sure the prescription is right, doctor was more concerned about getting us to buy contacts from them. The prescription we were told was different from the one on the paper. Negotiated, finally given the lens of one eye in the prescribed power in a different brand, can't see clearly. Tried to contact them to get the prescription corrected, never heard back from them. We can't trust them anyway. 2. Doctor refused to give trial lens in the exact prescription (prescribed power and brand) UNLESS we purchase contacts from them. 3. Reluctant to give out prescription unless purchase was made through them. 4. Oh did I mention the "prescription" did not even have the doctor's signature? The receptionist was nice. That's it. A waste of time and money. don't make the same mistake I made. Stay away from this place. read more

This place is a rip off. I'll start by saying the staff was pleasant. The doctor is condescending. I told her I could not see with the eye exam, she insists my eyes will adjust. I received the glasses. Still could not see, doc insists my eyes need to adjust. I let a week go by with impaired vision before returning to have the doc re-examine my eyes and I am told I have to pay extra for another exam and lenses. Every eye doctor I've been to, I can see in the exam and when my glasses arrive. This doc does not know eyes and just wants your money. This place is a rip off. read more

I am giving this an OK review because of the following: -My appointment was at 5:30pm, I showed up 5 minutes early but wasnt seen till 6:15 -There was not a large selection of frames to choose from, I feel sorry for men trying to find a fram because there seemed to be one tiny section at the back wall for them - My main concern has been that it has been 3 weeks since my eye exam and ordering of glasses, and I still have not received them yet. The front desk person said "they are at the laboratory, they need to pass inspection, they will be here on monday." I called monday at I received the answer "they are at the laboratory, they need to pass inspection, they will be here on Thursday." When I asked what the delay was, she said " well last week I said they MIGHT be here by monday." I typically go to Lens Crafters or one of those chain stores, and receive my glasses in about 3 business days for the most. My prescription is definitely not difficult, the only addition I had was the anti-reflective coating. If you lost you pair of glasses and need them within the month...dont go here. read more

Owner gave me a refund check that had my first name split in half with my middle initial on the 2nd part of my first name so the check looked like a completely different first name, and middle name. Very Sneaky. She had to write 3 checks to get it right but the police TOLD HER to let me write my name so there would not be any funny business. The Owner will call the police if you curse in her store. I've spent approximately $650 with this company NOT including the $136 they refunded me today. They lost a good customer forever. The owner refused to write my refund check to my government name. I gave her my government issued ID from the State Department, she still refused to do it, so I got mad said the F bomb and she says if you cuss anymore I will call the police. I told her to call them. She did me a favor. They told her to write the check with my ID. She could have avoided all of this if she would have just did that to begin with. Before the police came the check she tried to give me did not have my correct name on it it had my nickname (which she still spelled wrong), and didn't give me an envelope. But when the police came she puts my check in an envelope, so I of course I open the envelope in order to verify everything is correct. She had my ID and the correct spelling but somehow she messed that up too. I believe she did that on purpose so I would not be able to deposit the check. She split my first name up into 2 different names and put my middle initial on the ending so it looked like a completely different first name with a completely different middle name as well. She is VERY SNEAKY. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE! If I hadn't checked I wouldn't be able to deposit the check. SO she had to write a check for the third time but the police told her to let me write my name on the check instead of the owner. read more

Went to Aqua Vision to get my glasses. Everybody was very attentive, answered all my questions. I had a great experience there. I would recommend some of my friends and coworkers to visit. I just found out my son needs glasses, I am bringing my kids for full eye exam. read more

My husband and I had eye exams performed by Aqua Vision Center that were fine. My husband then decided to buy a pair of brand name frames (Gucci, I think) from them. He specifically asked if he would be getting a new frames and not the "try-on" pair. He was told yes and we bought the glasses. When we went to pick them up, the glasses WERE the "try-on" pair and we were told that no store orders new frames. Even if that were so, we were never given the opportunity to make an informed decision. We talked to both the doctor and the office manager, who has TERRIBLE customer service, and were issued a $40 refund after much discussion. We will not be going back, and I caution anyone who does business her. read more

The staff were very professional, respectful, and willing to answer questions. They really go out of their way to help you and are very knowledgeable about their products.
