I WOULD GIVE THEM A ZERO STAR IF POSSIBLE. This is my first ever Yelp review. One of the worst companies I had to deal with in the last few years. Even after making an appointment for a Tuesday to reglaze a bathtub and after confirming a day before, they never showed up at 10 AM as promised. When I called to see what's going on they gave me all kinds of excuses. Finally when the guy shows up at 3PM instead of 10AM, he says that this is a tub that needs to be reglazed in the morning as we had planned before. After my girlfriend had very successful and positive dealings with Aquakor installing new laminate flooring, I decided to go to them for a quote. Compared to the other quotes I received, Aquakor's was extremely reasonable. The work started on time, finished early, and was done very professionally. Everyone at Aquakor has been incredibly helpful - Krikor, Oscar, Avniv, the installers - everyone. Even when I noticed something on my flooring to be adjusted afterwards, they sent someone right out. We had purchased a home and needed the floors throughout the entire home redone. Krikor and his team of workers were HONEST (I compared price/quality/value across multiple vendors/bids and Aquakor offered the absolute best prices around!), knowledgeable, kind/considerate and DETAIL-oriented. I was very happy with the final product (wood floors throughout, tile in the bathrooms and carpet in the bedrooms). They were also very thorough and helped me with minor updates in the house such as updating the door thresholds, adding crown moulding, plumbing needs, and extra base moulding where needed). I would highly recommend them to ANYone who is looking to renovate their homes with quality materials at great prices, good customer service and a final product that you will be very pleased with. read more

Whoever contracts this company to do your flooring, please beware of the poor workmanship. They showed up for work at my home and hour and forty-five minutes late to start with. I had moved, boxed and covered all that I could on my own and had to leave or a couple of hours and when I returned, I was shocked to see the bedroom, family room and several side tables full of dust and sawdust from them cutting and working at the entrance of my garage and nothing covered with plastic or otherwise. I complained and hurried to try and cover what I could after the fact and save some of the areas, I told that workers I was not satisfied with some of the areas, where the baseboard was still loose, I immediately called the office and they sent out a representative to take my complaints, some were addressed then, as they were not finished and would have to return the next day. One of the office ladies told me that I would have had to pay extra for the plastic, of which I would certainly had agreed to, I was told this in the beginning, it would have saved me a lot of time, labor(dusting, polishing, vacuuming, and washing covering and bedding. They had to add insult to injury, by blaming me. I am still stressed and have been continue to clean, since the job was completed on Thursday. I have pictures to prove my accusations and also my brother, whom was visiting for a couple of days from back East. A few days latter, I discovered a large lump at the entrance from the hallway, which was where the new laminate flooring was placed leading to my carpeted bedroom. I called and one of the office secretaries said that if they would have to cut off the door, it would be an extra cost, I told her it was not the door, creating the lump, it was something up under the carpeting. The worker came and while I looked on he lifted the threshold and reached under the carpeting and pulled out a partial stripping with tacks and a few small pieces of the old hardwood flooring, that they were supposed to have moved. I keep part of the debris I have suffered sever allergy problems, and today, 11/19/14 will hopeful finish dusting, vacuuming and replacing my living room furniture and lastly the garage area. Two months ago I decided to change the carpet in my house. I chose Aquakor to change the carpet in my living room, dining room, and an extended room next to my garage. When the sales associate came he brought samples and gave us an estimate for the cost of replacing the carpet for 3 rooms. My wife and I decided on to go along and do business with them. We decided on a date for the installation and we were looking forward to the new changes to be made in my home. The 2 workers arrived on the day of the installation and started working. I was home as all the carpet was being installed and was happy with the way they were working. One of the workers had informed me about a crack in one of the tiles by the living room to make sure he wouldn't be blamed for it down the line. I already knew about that crack and let him go along with his work. A few hours later they were done with the work and they left. Later on that evening, my wife was mopping the floors and noticed a HUGE crack in another tile which wasn't there before. We walk on that floor everyday and we know our floors better than anyone and I figured it broke while the workers were installing the carpet. I calmly called Aquakor to fix this situation, in hopes they would fix, replace, or at least give me a discount. They denied any damages caused and refused to accept their mistake. They later decided to come by 2 days after the installation date to see what had happened. The salesman and worker came to my house and before showing where the crack was I asked the worker where is the crack? He showed me the crack that he had showed me that was there before the installation. I told him that specific crack was already there and I showed them another very obvious crack in the tile. He refused and said that was already there I never did that, you are trying to pin a damage that I didn't do! The sales man tried to mellow down the situation and did not accept the workers mistake. All I wanted was for them to fix the tile, to fix the situation and provide me with good customer service. The salesman later agreed to bring someone to fix my tile. Which kept me content for the most part. A week passed and someone called me to come to fix the tile. We both agreed on a time and I waited for his arrival. No call, no show. I called him several times on several occasions and he promised to come, yet he didn't show up nor give a reason on why he didn't show up. I decided to give a call to the company after my terrible experience to see why nobody was showing up to fix my tile. I called several times, everyday for 3 weeks, left numerous messages and got no call backs. NOBODY returned my call for 3 weeks. CUSTOMER SERVICE doesn't exist within this company neither does customer satisfaction. I have never dealt with a company with such poor service, liars, and no sympathy for their customers. They said I was lying about the crack, just so I can get a tile fixed that was already there. I have never came across "business" owners who would pin a lie and their mistake on me. After a month, i received a call from a salesperson to come to fix my tile and they said I had to pay the full amount for labor to fix the tile. Why do I have to pay for a mistake they made? I didn't agree with the option and refused to pay and they said you have to pay or else we wont come. I have never been so furious with a company. I would have been better off choosing Home Depot or any other places to offer carpet installation, at least they would have returned my call. I still haven't spoken with Krikor whom was "out of the office" every time I called. If you are thinking about choosing this business for any installation, I wouldn't. I would never recommend this company to ANYONE. Sorry but there are a ton of other companies willing to do the same job with a BETTER SERVICE. Look elsewhere folks, there are better companies out there. read more

I purchased tile for 3 bathrooms, over $2,000 of tile. When we picked up the tile we trusted that we were given what we had ordered and didn't count the boxes or checked the mosaic sheets we were picking up. It wasn't until our contractor started to install the mosaic tile that we realized we were missing sheets. I immediately called Sergio to see if the sheets had been left behind, but all he could tell me was that I had signed off on the order and that the only solution he had for me was to reorder and pay for the missing sheets. It took me asking him 3 to 4 time for him to agree to take a look. After a long conversation with him I gave up, he couldn't do anything for me other than sell me the tile again. I expressed how unhappy I was with the transaction, he apologized and said he would have the owner call me. It's been 2 weeks now since our conversation and I still have not received any calls from the owner. I will never purchase tile from Aquakor again, Sergio was rude and unprofessional and the owner clearly does not appreciate his customers. read more

I requested a quote with the person named Aimee ( I don't care if I spelled her name correctly). All I care is that I am not happy with the quality of service that they provide. My landlord gave me their number to clean our carpet for the apartment that I am subleasing to my sister-in-law. This apartment is still clean because we just move in 6 months ago but we bought a house so we have sublease and wanted the carpet clean for the next tenant. She quoted me $125 for the carpet cleaning for a 2-storey apartment, so it is up and down, sounds good to me. So she scheduled for the next day around 2pm. On the day of the appointment, almost an hour have passed, the guy named Jonathan did not showed up neither called to advise that he will be late. When I called Aimee, she said that the guy will be late for another 2 hours, that is not acceptable. But I still managed to reschedule for the following morning, which is today. Then after they finish, my sister in law called me at work saying that they are asking for additional charge of $3 per steps of the stairs. I am so upset because I feel that they are nickeling and diming! So I have to pay $169 total. I would have appreciated an honesty in the beginning. I dont mind paying the extra amount have I known that in the beginning not after. Obviously, honesty and professionalism is not in their company's mission statement because I did not feel it today! This is My first review at yelp, and I did this because I am not really happy and definitely will not recommend it to anyone! read more
