They are a horrible company. Kylie came out to my house for five or 10 minutes and didn't even fix the problem. He reports to my warranty company that due to customers lack of filling the pool, that's why the pumps not working. Now the warranty company won't pay and in the meantime, there was sand in my filter, and I believe it came from their company there's no way Stan could've gotten my filter and they're the only one that was back there. We are very pleased & thankful for AquaTime service. We have FirstAm. Appliance Insurance, they dispatched three different companies after lack of progress complains to fix our SPA /Pool heater since Aug.2021, in expectation of their commitment to fix or replace it as they advertise. The three companies found excuses outside the Heater unit to not fix it or to even figure out the problem. After 7 month of follow up & complaining to FirstAm we had enough, on our request for an independent evaluation of the problem that we paid for, AquaTime Kiley arrived, opened the unit in a very brief analyzes within 10 minutes he knew where the problem lays, he ordered the part, came back in couple of days & replaced it, giving us the chance to enjoy our SPA once again. Aquatime pools was assigned to me from my home warranty company to repair an issue. They contacted me immediately and the technician was at my house the next day. They also sent me a text prior to arriving so that I didn't have to miss work and wait around all day for someone to show up. The technician was courteous, knowledgeable, and fixed my pool on that visit. Usually I have to wait for a part to be ordered, but he had the part on his truck and fixed my problem. Next time I have a pool issue I am going to request Aquatime. They also followed up after the service call to make sure I was pleased with their work. read more

Just had them install a new pool heater. Old one was 10 years old and quit working. Was going through First American home warranty. At first, warranty company denied claim, but AquaTime was able to get them to reverse decision. They kept in contact the whole time, showed up when they said. Highly recommend. read more

They were sent out by our home warranty company. I had to contact them three times to set up an appointment and confirm receipt of pictures that they requested so they would have all parts on their truck. Upon arrival to complete the repair, the unfriendly tech spent about 3 minutes and took pictures before leaving.  It was apparent they had no interest in performing the work and were more interested in finding a way to deny the claim. It appears this company does not find it worthwhile to perform work through the home warranty company. Further, they lack customer service and communication and they clearly indicate that they are not interested in obtaining long-term clients or any other business unless it is convenient for them. read more

This company was absolutely horrible to work with! They were contracted through my home warranty April 29. Kiley came out and helped himself to our backyard, told us some stuff was broke and needed to be ordered and they would contact us when it came in. I had to call them the end of the next week because he never came back. When I called, the lady asked "oh, its not fixed?" Kiley had connected wires with a plastic wire nut in our HEATER and said it was fixed which MELTED that night! He hadn't even ordered the parts because he called that "fixed." I then had to wait an additional 1-2 weeks and call again. They scheduled me the following week, helped himself to the back again and when I went out he made a half ass excuse that "they gave me the wrong part" and left. I had to chase this company down for weeks! They then sent "Greg" out to look and he absolutely belittled and disrespected me. I asked him if it was broke, could he report that to the home warranty company? Instead, he called the home warranty company 6+ weeks later (June 15) and told them no issues and they didn't wish to work on it any more. They didn't even have the decency to advise me they closed my ticket. I had to call the home warranty company 3 days later when they would not longer answer my calls. When the next company came out, they told me the parts they had "replaced" were old and rusty. Either AquaTime didn't actually replace or replaced with used parts which did not fix the problem. STAY AWAY from this company. Got them through my home warranty company, which by the way, dropped them from their contract list. Very unprofessional. The lady that answers the phone is as rude as can be. They came to replace a spa blower. The technician took out the old blower and installed the new one without even fastening it. I asked him about it and he said that was how it was done. Eventually the blower flew off the pipe and broke. I gave them an opportunity to make it right and they came back with we can install the new one because its under manufacturing warranty but the labor is not warrantied, so you have to pay for installation. Im like what, your technitian didn't fastened it, the instructions clearly say MUST BE FASTENED BY 2 SCREWS. I dont want to pay for anything. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!! Very unprofessional! I had to use this company through my home warranty and got an automated text that they would come out that very Friday and then got a text from the lady at the office who said there was a mistake and it wouldn't be until Monday. I informed her I would be leaving town and this was an urgent matter and would love to be on the cancellation list, so she put me on it and later that day said I was moved back up to Friday. I was so appreciative.. well then again later she said it will have to be Monday again bc everyone in the office is sick apparently. She said sorry for the inconvenience and I mentioned it was an inconvenience because it was so back and forth and I had already moved my schedule around. Her response was "Sorry that our technicians are sick." And I told her that was rude and patronizing bc obviously I know it's not her fault they were sick. She responded with "I apologized not patronized" and then I get a call from the home warranty company saying she cancelled the claim. Which is probably a blessing in disguise because I don't need sick or rude people at my house anyway.. check their other reviews as well... they definitely don't seem like a dependable company!! Beware!!! Do not accept them for your Home Warranty Inspections. Aqua Time Pools are contractors for First American Home Warranty company who we had our most expensive coverage warranty with. We bought the best policy they offered. We had issues with our pool components not working and this company sent Mr. Greg (20 year experienced tech by his own declaration) out to inspect my pool on behalf of the warranty company. He did not open any panels up to look behind it and under 7 minuets diagnosed a display panel is needed. It turns out that they are not suppose to announce this info on the spot and turn their report in to the warranty company that pays them for going out to inspect. According to them I need a display board that under the contract is not covered because it is under water management system. Well funny thing is that all pool "circuit boards" are covered unless the tech says it is part of a system that will make it not covered. It was amazing that the tech chose exactly that term that voids this top of the line warranty contract from covering the work. Called the warranty company and asked about the discrepancy and they asked me to call Aqua Time and have them word it so the phrase circuit board is included in their estimate. After many tries to achieve this with Mrs. Jamie (answers the phones when you call) I understood that it will not happen. But she did send me a quote of over $700 to fix it with them paying out of pocket. By the way she also sent me an incomplete quote as it did not include a heater sensor that I apparently also need according to their tech. I asked Mr. Greg, the tech to send me a list of their recommended parts and part numbers with price brake down so I know the complete repair....that has nor happened. I did get a call from the owner Mr. Kiley S. who said he called because Mrs. Jamie was upset that I told her I was going to place an accurate review for them and he wanted o hear my side. Well less than 30 seconds into our call that was interrupted shortly, Mr. Kiley cut me off very rudely and TOLD me that IT WAS NOT COVERED and I had less than a minuet to talk or he is done. Wow that went from awkward to rude in a snap. Well I thanked him, wished him a blessed day and told him I did not want to take another minuet of his time. Well it is obvious that if you are a business you would love to get paid though a warranty company for a repair. However they have the warranty company as their bosses and if they produce too many big ticket quotes for them to pay, they must fall out of favor or get lower ratings. I am assuming this last part but can not understand why they would fight tooth and nail on behalf of a warranty company that allows CIRCUIT BOARDS to be replaced. They have lost my trust, their credibility, and earned this review 100%. I hope this helps others be aware of this situation if you are in Katy & Cypress area in Texas. read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I have never experienced a more unprofessional company. First, they came out on the wrong day and installed the wrong pool tile on our spa and pool. They dumped chemicals in our yard and flower bed and killed our grass in our backyard. They sent an email stating they would take money off the total cost and the next day said that was a mistake and would call their lawyer on us. Uh really? They did offer to redo the tile but.... I wouldn't trust them to do any additional work on our pool. I can't imagine what else they would screw up. Honestly, we are sick to our stomach about using this company. Unfortunately, if you don't get Greg and get the other guy, you may get an attitude. He came out and after looking things over said you need this part that I can order and when he found out that I had done some unrelated work myself, he got an attitude and left after swapping the electrical around to manually get the pump running off the breaker. I called back to get him out to order the part and to do the work and the lady that answered said he would be there the following Monday but he did not show. Called back on Tuesday and she asked why he didn't go and he told her that he had already been out there. I guess he got his feelings hurt that I didn't call him to do the other work.
