This company came out to do a warranty job. They told the warranty company $1,100 in damages. The warranty company denied the claim and I ended up fighting with the warranty company over this and eventually gave up. Once the claim was denied, they offered to do the work anyway. I decided to get a second estimate on the work and it turns out it was just a small part and a lid, not the entire motor which they claimed was bad. $900 difference in cost....glad I walked away from this company....dishonest...scam artists read more

KUYKENDAHL POOLS now called PASSION POOLS has no integrity what so ever and customer service does not exist. HEATHER is THE worst kind of customer service!! She told me they will not order the parts and will not proceed with work until I Zelle, cash app, or venmo $205.02. I asked them if they took credit card instead but they don't take "little money" with credit. How dare she tell me my "little" $205.02 They were approved for $400 by warranty company and still won't proceed until I paid???? She gave me no choice but to pay so I can get the parts ordered. This was Thursday. When I asked her when will the part be in, her response was "I will let you know when it arrives. You will need to make payment to place order." Fast forward to Tuesday I havent heard anything back from Heather so I texted for an eta. She replies back the NEXT day (Wednesday), "Not in yet. We will be out upon delivery." Still nothing on Thursday, it's been a week since they got the job. I asked again for eta and she replies back, "Could be today or tomorrow havent received shipment today yet." Then she tells me it's on back order and she will be cancelling the work order because we left a bad review on yelp. Now I paid them $205.02 on top of $400 they were getting from warranty company. Since I zelled them the money, I was not able to dispute it with the bank. Great way to SCAM!!! They asked us to take down our bad review because they refund our money. WHAT??!?!?!! I have reported to the police and they have the listing ID and IP address of user. They don't even deserve the one star. They got paid by warranty company and also collected from us of the remainder amount for the pool motor. I had a pump that wasn't priming, tech arrived at the end of the day, and did an awful job troubleshooting the system. Told me I needed a new motor which the motor was operating. They are also known as Crystal Clear Pools. Check their ratings there first. It is less than 3*. Complete disaster and theft. They charged us $1800 to replace the pool pump which they said was not functional. They apparently never replaced it and the pool got in the worst situation. They were also our pool maintenance company who never maintained the pool and it took the shape for the worst. They asked us to pay for a year in advance and now they have stopped showing up. As per the check for a refund would be in the mail but there is no owner. On 6/8/2022, I paid a deposit of over $5,000 to have work done on my pools totaling approximately $10,000. @Lee Pilling. Totally agree with how they operate. Starts off well, goes south from there. Did a few tasks, but did not complete all of the work. I asked for a refund and one of the owners Greg Dixon (Remodel/Install) side of the business promised me a refund for months. Still no refund after months of back and forth. He put his assistant in bad situation as a go between; Heather is very nice and supportive. There is no store front to talk to them when Greg decides to stop communicating. Will probably have to take legal action to get my money back - $5,212.12. Also would note that the invoices used the name Crystal Clear Pools. One of his excuses was they changed billing systems. He said he could not get a certain panel for months. I called another company that found the panel and completed the work within one week of me calling them. Greg lacks integrity. If you choose to risk it with him. Please do not use this company. First last August I paid almost $700.00 for a new vacuum. I was told it was on back order. I tried to be understanding this being strange times due to pandemic. Long story short I have never received the vacuum or a refund. They also charged to work done on my pump and a new pump basket work never done and to top it off the double billed me for the monthly service in all they owe me over $1,100. I had a crack in my 20 year old DE filter and needed a replacement. I purchased a new one at Leslies but they couldn't install if for 3 weeks. They had several references for other installers though, and I selected Kuykendahl Pools. They picked up the filter on a Friday and installed it the following Monday. Their installer, Luis, did an excellent job. In fact, he corrected a major flaw in the original plumbing that made it difficult to operate the old multi-port valve. At Last! My pool pump is finally working right. Kuykendall Pools answered the phone promptly, we communicated by text and email. A technician was sent asap. He was knowledgeable, nice, and finished the repairs quickly. I had called many companies here in Spring TX and half of those didn't bother to call me back. I paid for a service call to fix the air bubbles, (co. to remain unnamed) and in a couple of weeks it was bad again. Called them back and they did not schedule for weeks, then the pump broke. I went with Kuykendahl pools on September, of 2020. We had just built our dream pool and were looking for a weekly service( Friday was our scheduled day) We constantly utilize pool on the weekends day and night. The FIRST month was great! Shortly afterr, our service steadily declined drastically. Pool cleaners were coming all days of the week and with less than satisfactory cleaning. We have outdoor cameras so when they did show up it was a ten minute pool raking of the leaves. Filters were hardly or ever checked no sweeping of the pool, and chemicals were maybe checked a handful of times. I called both numbers explaining my concerns (cleaning the pool properly and coming on our scheduled day we were promised) We were told Misty was the owner who we originally signed on with and PAID A YEAR IN ADVANCE. After this month we decided to part ways after a 4 week hiatus from them without a phone call or a stop by. After our horrendous winter storm our pool needed attention. So they owe a total of 725 . A check was suppose to be sent We have yet to receive our reimbursement and when I call Im told the owner isnt really "Misty" its "Tyler" Misty is just a pool cleaner. No one has any knowledge of my reimbursement and Tyler hasnt answered any pf my calls "Heather" their secretary just tells me she will call me back.
