We have used Woodlands Pool Experts for 5 years or so. I had some issues over time, but especially this last Spring and early Summer. I was not happy with our tech or the outcomes. I would speak with the tech every week when he came and it still wasn't improved. Our pool is older, needs to be resurfaced, but it was usable for sure. Yet the tech would say it was our filter or other things. He never left a tag and half the time you couldn't tell he had come by at all. I didn't want the tech to get in trouble, but it was obvious he needed more education regarding the chemical balance and some of his responsibilities. My error was not talking directly to the owner before it became such an issue. Upon terminating their service, the owner reached out to me several times. He asked for the opportunity to fix the issues. Once he and I communicated well and he listened to all my concerns, he changed our tech and has contacted me by phone or text at least 2-3 times monthly. I hired Woodlands Pool Experts for equipment inspection and minor repairs. While the technician seemed knowledgeable and eventually resolved the issue, the service felt disorganized. The appointment was rescheduled twice, and on the final visit, the technician arrived over an hour late with no heads-up. I had to call the office myself to find out what was going on. When the work was done, the repair seemed solid, and my pool system has been running smoothly since. But the lack of punctuality and communication made the overall experience frustrating. I expected more professionalism given the cost and positive reviews. This isn't to say they're a bad company--they clearly know pools--but reliability and customer service need some work. After evaluating more than eight different pool construction companies, we decided to go with WPE. We remodeled a lot of our house in the last three months and by far, the best contractor was our pool company. They are fairly priced, quality (from excavation to final touches) was excellent, and customer service was unlike any other. Everything that was damaged due to construction was fixed as soon as we asked, no questions asked. I would recommend (and have recommended) this company to anybody thinking about building or remodeling a pool in the Woodlands. we have been getting pool service from these guys about 4 months ago during that time they have been consistent and recovered our pool that was very dirty and had algae from the previous company they also offered a free filter clean and we were able to see how dirty it was, after that the pool immediately was recovered and we have been enjoying. read more
