I had the boat over there by about 10;00 AM. Neko (not sure of the spelling) installed it in about 4 hours, which was less than quoted. Upon the return to my Marina this afternoon I had a chance to test it. WOW, this is a total game changer. I now can maneuver the boat easily. Thanks so much to Patrick and Neko for a job well done!

The new owners, Bill a Lisa, are just horrible people. I've had to call harbor police on them…read moretwice, and put a block on our banks direct deposit to them (so they couldn't take any more money from us!) The full story is they tried to get me to move my 9 foot wide boat into a six foot wide slip. (My current slip was 20 feet, so maybe they hoped to put 2 boats in it, or a larger Yacht. When I explained the new slot was literally two feet smaller then my boat, they said "we are kicking you out! You have two hours to vacate before we change the locks on you!" Obviously it's illegal for them to not give me any notice. I'm also not sure it legal for them to break out 12 month contract for no reason other then the really want two boats in the slip we had a contract for. This wasn't the only mistake they made, either. For example, I'd received a "paid in full" statement from them one month, saying they'd auto deducted my boat moorage fee. Then at the beginning of the next month I was told, "that statement was wrong. Now you own us two payments!" All this, plus no bathrooms, no showers, no pump out, no laundry... ...my advice is stay away. Or two months from now you'll be in my shoes, wonder why you didn't listen to that yelp review!

The tow boat driver said he had towed many other boats that week, who had just filled at Narrows, and their boats also mysteriously died. Side Note: Marina staff is needlessly rude, nearly to the point of being violent. Some youngish man who claimed to have been the manager for 15 years (though he hardly looked old enough) was belligerent, and rude. Should in my face like he was trying to start a bar fight. I got out of there as fast as I could! My guess is they know there is something wrong with their fuel, and they are getting defensive about it. I can't warn you enough to stay away from this place...and if you read other reviews here are yelp, you'll see many one star reviews as well.

While the staff members are nice and proved to be fairly helpful, Scott the person who runs it is about as dishonest as they come. After being long time owners of a Boathouse, we were told that the boathouse was structurally unsound and that we must pay to have it rebuilt or paid to have it destroyed. We chose to move out of there and paid Scott to remove it. This was never done and he kept the money. He's great at making threats for financial gain.

He poured out a little bubbly and you helped yourself to the buttery popcorn. Unfortunately the store doesn't open because the same guy who runs it is also running the show, so it's understandable, bu I wish I could've bought some other snacks. The screening was definitely for the tenants of the marina because they all knew each other which was kinda cool that they put out the event on FB. They had the best swag ever, which was ed knit caps just like Bill Murray's crew in the film. This was very low key, low attendance, and intimate. It was funto watchthe movie as the sun went down and I can't wait for their next one.

Because the timing of the notice, Foss Harbor could easily charged us for another month, but they did not. We were impressed! Incredibly helpful staff and great prices on both fuel and moorage, store is well stocked for last minute items plus, restrooms are clean. We put a deposit on a slip a few days ago. We were then given a copy of the rules and regs to read…read moreover. That is when I realized we would NOT be able to live up to the "no more than 14 nonconsecutive days on your boat" stipulation. We spend a lot of time on our boat especially in the summer so that would not have worked for us. Plus a substantial fine if not adhered to. I emailed the manager, Sheila, WITHIN 48 hours that we would have to cancel for that reason, only to find out our $560 deposit would not be refunded!!! Not even in part! I emailed her back stating that NOWHERE was this posted or made known which Sheila never even bothered to respond to. This is a policy most businesses adhere to as a common curtesy to customers. But not Shyster Sheila at the TYEE!!! And the marina is not even that nice...for sure. Barely adequate is about it with no shore facilities to offer.
