My partner wanted to surprise me with a clean apartment when I got back from a week away. He found Arana's by looking on Yelp and getting some estimates from multiple places. They were the highest-rated so he picked them. 2 women came and knocked on the door. They hadn't confirmed the time so he was slightly surprised, but was grateful all the same. They were efficient and thorough, meticulous and comprehensive. He was in 1 room while they cleaned and when they were done, he moved to the other so they could clean the room he'd just been in. I've never seen my bathroom and kitchen so clean! The sink and counters are spotless. They reached corners I'd forgotten about and were very thoughtful, folding clothes, putting papers into neat stacks, rearranging pillows to look better, and better rearranging and folding kitchen towels and hanging some on the dishwasher which I hadn't done before. The dishwasher was pretty new and I just didn't think to put some there besides on the freezer drawer handle and oven handles. They also cleaned fridge shelves and better arranged cooking supplies on the counter (they're there because I use them almost daily.) They cleaned the toaster and made the dining room table look better. The wine cart also looks better. The tv stand looks better. The coffee table and coffee table books look better and nicer and so does my bookshelf. They dusted board games. They made my messy desk look presentable. Everything just looks better. My apartment was so messy that it was over $100 pricier than the estimate (hey, work's been very busy.) Prices are cheaper the more often they come. I believe we will begin having them once every 2 months. We are very happy with Arana's. read more

We managed to do a decent job ourselves, but needed someone to clean it more thoroughly before we went out of town for a couple of weeks, so our house sitters had a spotless home to live in. Enter Arana's House Cleaning. We found them on Yelp when putting out the request for bids from multiple companies. Their prices weren't the least expensive, but their ratings were 5-star, so we gave them a try. They charged us $300 to have three women clean, very very thoroughly, finding areas that probably hadn't been cleaned for years (like dusting the ceilings, cleaning the oven interior, doing some of the windows, etc.). When the day came, a cleaning crew of three arrived in a tiny blue sedan, and from that blue sedan, out stepped three heroines who turned every inch of my grungy apartment into a raging ball of shining glory that would make Mr. Clean jealous. The crew even tackled the inside of each kitchen appliance, shining them to a sparkle that practically required wearing sunglasses. On top of that, Arana's pricing was extremely reasonable. They even took the time to carefully clean out all the cupboards and found some items I had left behind and stored them in an easy-to-access location for me to pick up.
