Zero stars they pump in people and they try say you need this and that. I definitely wouldn't trust the reviews or the people. Waiting over hour plus for them to tell me about mechanical issues when I came in to look at a tire and then they let me leave on a flat back left tire and I happen to believe that it's because I was a woman and they told their team that I "don't understand." I'm writing negligent and criminal. If something happened to me. Why would they bring up a tire rod when I have a back flat tire (wasn't flat when i came in) but it could been losing air but they never mentioned that and let me leave like that absolutely hideous behavior on the part of all those men. I've been a customer here since 2007. I have to say this is by far the absolute fastest service for a tire repair or a patch! When I tell you that $15 for a well-installed patch or $10 for a tire repair plug will save the day any time. This place is speedy and they do not waste your time. Don't get your car "aligned" here. Mine came out crooked. I took it back and they fixed it but my car still goes to the right if i let go of the wheel. Really frustrating since it didn't do it before. The worker also asked me if i hit a pot hole on the way home to try to blame it on me i guess. But no i didn't. I Don't think they know what they're doing but I'd save yourself the hassle and just go somewhere else. I've been coming here for years, and so it's kind of a bummer that my previously good experience has been replaced by a "would not recommend." Arandas has a pretty good range of price points and options, especially if you want, say, gigantic wheels for your 2010 Escalade, or whatever. Tires, too! Previously, they had always taken care of me-- I started coming here in like 2015. This time, though, I was interested in getting not just new tires, but also new wheels. Straightforward, right? So, I bring it in, and Lupe tells me he can't get any of the wheels I want in stock from his supplier. No worries, I say, what if I bought them myself? He says yeah, ok, it'll be $120. Okay. $440 for my four new, teenage-angsty black-and-red wheels from my sketchy-ass discount supplier and then about $350 for new tires. Even with that $120 fee, this still saves me about $150 from what I was going to have to pay for his price for the wheels. The only problem was that he then went ahead and installed the wheels on my OLD rims, even though he knew I didn't want this, and knew that I was buying new wheels. Like, honestly, fuck that noise. So now I have new wheels with new tires AND old wheels with new tires. That I... have no interest in. Grand. Ultimate bummer is that they told me to buy spline lugs to save myself the price of getting them to supply them-- and then they charged me for them. These guys used to be the best deal around and very good service as well, but that was 10 years ago! Nowadays this place it's a rip off, please read entire review if you value your money and your time. I needed brakes and pads for my truck, and since I trusted Arandas work, I towed it from Ann Arbor to Detroit thinking I´d still get a better deal, the work took forever and was all messy, and for my surprise, even more expensive than Ann Arbor. After 2 trips, and over $2000 for front and back brakes at Arandas my car didn't feel good at all, smoke and noises were coming out from the brakes, I decided to take it to a local mechanic since I didn't want to drive all the way to Detroit, the diagnostic was they (Arandas) put the pads/brakes wrong, left in right and right in left, and a very messy job, I had to pay additional $975 to correct the issues. I checked the Google reviews and Fernando the owner or manager leaves his email and deals with these matters, I sent him an email and the copies of the paperwork from the other shop explaining the issue. I never heard from Fernando even when I asked for him, instead, a counter associate told me they couldn't do anything about it because I didn't take my car back there. I kept inquiring for Alberto and they just ignored me. Fernando, you read my first email with the pics and invoices I sent you, I´m sure you won't ignore this time. Recommendations from a former customer if you still want to take your car at this place or don't have other choice: * Explain the problem over the phone as clear as possible and try to get an estimated (They aren't the most affordable any more) * Ask for the technician´s name and ask for a fluent English speaker if you don't feel comfortable with the person you are talking to * They aren't the best at customer service, they can be rude at the front desk, so be prepared * Ask to see your old parts after the work is done * If possible inspect and record the new work done at the premises, ask to see the new parts placed in your vehicle * Make sure you understand the warranty, ej: 3000 miles or 6 months on brakes (they sometimes "honor" the mileage but not the time and vice versa, happened to me as well) record the employee saying it as well if possible * If you can, take a second opinion elsewhere, also compare prices * Be prepare to dispute the charge with your credit card company if need it * Make sure the supervisor or the ONLY certified mechanic actually looks at the assistant (uncertified person) job and not just approves it * If something wrong happens with your car after they put a hand on it, take it back there right away and demand a solution or your money back with camera on hand See the pics attached and feel free to contact me with any questions, I´ll be happy to help and show all the paperwork, unlike Fernando. On February 3, 2024 I came to Arandas Tires 2040 Dragoon CT in Detroit. This place was recommended to me from a coworker he has work donen on his vehicle many times. I had to have done rear shocks, rear shock mounts,suspension labor. The price is what is and I did really needed the work done. Besides we all know it is the labor that gets us in our wallets. I was happy with work done to my vehicle. But what really surprised me when I got all the way home was oil or dirt on the front passenger seat and rear back seat. Luckily I had cleaning products to clean the mess. I understand mistakes happen but did not understand why the person working on my vehicle did not put covering since they would be moving around vehicle front to back areas. If I return I will find out if this was a mistake or just how treat customers vehicle. My seats a light tan in color and the littlest of dirt or spills will show up. But oil or dirt was very noticeable on front passenger seat and rear back seat. read more

I love the service at this place because they treat you right with good prices but you're going to have to wait that's the downside. They have several locations in the area and if you call around one of them may be able to accommodate you a little quicker. I go to the main location because I just love to sit there and wait I guess. Take a coloring book and some crayons and put on your patience hat because the prices will make you wait when you consider a four wheel alignment is only $60 here for a BMW and at the dealer let's talk $450 and a four-day appointment window. For me the wait is worth it especially when you've got Rey the the big guy making sure everything is taken care of and done right. Professional, knowledgeable, super fast. I took the car in to check out some serious vibration/wobbling on my back end. They assessed the situation, diagnosed a split tire, sold me a new one, mounted it, disposed of the old one, all in 30 minutes. I was pulling out of the lot after walking to the taco truck for a quick lunch while i waited. They put down a paper floor mat (which is standard) but also a plastic covering over your steering wheel and gear stick (which i hadn't seen before... seems a bit excessive), which is to say they aim to keep your interior spotless. The only thing that keeps them from being ideal, is that they charge you $25 for the inspection. If you decide to let them work on your car, then they put that fee towards the final cost. In other words, they charge you after looking at the car if you decide NOT to go with them. Not sure how common that is in the biz (i've always had free inspections previously), but seems kind of strong-arm'y. They should use carrots instead of whips. In any event, I went with them at $89 for the new tire, installed, inclusive of taxes, and thought it was a great job done professionally, politely, and in record time. We were coming into Detroit from Milwaukee for the Wings game and we got a flat on I-96. Considering it was 4pm on a Saturday it was a relief in and of itself that they were even open. As soon as we pulled up they took rim with the flat on it and started putting on the new tire. They had us pull the car into the first open spot and put the new tire on, they even went the extra mile and put the spare tire back in its storage spot. All in all it took 20 minutes tops, leaving us plenty of time to check into the hotel and get to the game. Super fast and effective, even when they're really busy. Almost no other place in the city appears to be open Sundays, so I drove a little extra distance to go here. I pulled it among a sea of other patrons. Someone greeted me immediately and I showed him my punctured tire, and explained that I didn't know if it could be patched or not. He took the tire, came back within a minute, and showed me where the puncture was. They patched it, mounted it, etc. for $10, and I was gone within 15 minutes of pulling into the lot. They also have a 30-day guarantee on all their work, so if something goes wrong you just have to bring it back it with your receipt and they will fix it (this is what the guy told me anyway). They are a rip off!!! They advertise that they give a free wheel alignment with the purchase of 4 tires, well they don't. A month after I purchased 4 new tires one blows out and they say it's not covered under warranty. I never hit a pot hole for one and two they say the tire that is brand new can't take a bump???
