How in the world can you get house-made polish sausage in the middle of freakin Colorado? I like to make the food of my grandfather, slovak cabbage rolls and kielbasi. Lo and behold, I find Old Style and they custom make my order! Not only that, but they do italian, andouille, all kinds of stuff. Here's the deal. Call them, talk to Mike or Scott (the friendliest guys in the world... if you like sausage they will talk about the process with a deep knowledge and affection... they rock), then make a custom order and pick up soon after! That's right, you custom order it. Bam! Forget major grocery stores, go with the house-made local brand from the guys who have been doing it for 35 years. I bought 8 pounds and it literally was some of the best stuff I've had in ages. Old Style is a god-send. I might even go today because I am getting hungry just talking about it!

The owner, Dustin, is incredibly rude and irresponsible. We rented a roaster from him that failed, leaving our fundraiser event without enough food. They don't answer their "Emergency" numbers that they give you as a safeguard. The roaster was a safety hazard and the gas leak could have caused a huge accident at an event with 200 people in attendance. Regardless of what you want to use Arapahoe Hog Roasters for, you need to know that if any issues come up, they will not take responsibility for them. I called them and wanted to have a calm discussion about the day's events to see if we could come to a conclusion that would make both sides happy. Dustin began yelling at me and told me to "go call my f'n lawyer if I wanted to do something about it." Shortly after this, he hung up on me. Now that's great service. Not to mention, this event that we were putting on was to benefit children and adults with mental and physical disabilities. Happily this new space is used mostly for more groceries and more variety, not for dry goods like some other stores. The butcher section is much larger. The deli is somewhat larger and adds some new products such as pre-made sandwiches. It is well-stocked; they were out of only one item that I wanted. There are more checkout lines, although only one was open when I went through (there are also lots of self-check stations). There is now a pharmacy drive-through. There is lots of parking. The store is located in Nine Mile Corner, next to Lowe's Home Improvement.

Then I go to check out and there's only one station open. The gal is counting out her drawer and I totally understand that she is busy but she did not acknowledge or say I'll be right with you. Nothing. Finally, after standing there for a long period of time I just picked up my stuff and went to the self checkout station. The cake I grabbed had the barcode on the side so I couldn't tip it to scan it, and there are two employees having a conversation about Covid and after finally noticing me, trying to figure out how to scan it, the guy walks up and doesn't say a word and just scans it, and then walks away. The customer service at the store today was extremely disappointing. Especially when it's compared to Trader Joe's. I stopped by Trader Joe's just before this and every single employee I encountered at the store was friendly and greeted me. I also watched as another person who is handing out samples at Trader Joe's, drop everything to help an elderly lady find something on the other side of the store. Take note Whole Foods. This is the kind of service you should be giving.

They were not ready on time, and I was quoted 40 minutes for them being ready. I killed time for 40 minutes and came back, and they were not ready. I could not get an estimate for when they would be ready. The guy working seemed to be trying, but I cancelled...I wasted a solid hour of my afternoon waiting on groceries I never got, which affected my dinner plans. It's disrespectful to the customer to offer this service if you can't fulfill it.
