I use grocery pickup because I had a bad go around with COVID and try to minimize exposure (yes, we're out there). Had groceries ordered today for pickup. They were not ready on time, and I was quoted 40 minutes for them being ready. I killed time for 40 minutes and came back, and they were not ready. I could not get an estimate for when they would be ready. The guy working seemed to be trying, but I cancelled...I wasted a solid hour of my afternoon waiting on groceries I never got, which affected my dinner plans. It's disrespectful to the customer to offer this service if you can't fulfill it. read more

I am not a fan of this grocery store. Everything is scattered all over the store. The pre-made food selection is terrible and never ever come at night. You can't get anywhere without a ton of stockers getting in your way. What's the point of keeping the store open at night if you can't even shop with all these people in the way? Terrible. Everytime i come in here (i shop for an elder woman as part of my work) the staff is very rude each time i am using her card to check out. This point i was attempting to return something on her behalf (which i know that not really what happens at a grocery store) but the cashier was extremely rude when i didnt have the card to refund it to (which yes i should have thought of before trying to return) then the head cashier when i returned was very condescending about how the food was just going to be thrown away and acted like i was trying to cheat them out of money when i am just trying to do my job. 0/10 i will not be shopping here again, i will drive the extra miles down into lafayette to go to sprouts market place, they have never given me any problems. Worst pharmacy in the Boulder County Area. EVERY SINGLE time I bring a prescription they call the doctor's office to "verify" the prescription wasting the customer valuable time. If they "flagged" a customer for whatever capricious reason they might have, they will make you wait more than a day to dispense the prescription. Avoid them at ALL COSTS!!!!!! If I could give them 0 stars, I would. Pharmacist does not talk to customers. Sends the technician instead.! read more

When Im on my lunch break I find myself going out of my way to go to this King Soopers. The store is clean, upkept and organized. The shelves are mostly fully stocked and the employees are friendly. I actually saw an employee put down his broom while sweeping the floor to help and elderly customer and in this day and age, thats a rare thing to see. The deli and hot foods section is full of prepared food that are not old and dried out looking. For the adventurous types, in the back of the store they have a clearance section that usually has a few hidden treasures just waiting to be found and enjoyed. read more

This is my favorite grocery store. I've been coming here for years. They have a great selection and lots of fresh fruits and veggies. There is even a starbucks inside! What I like best, however, is their fuel program. Every 100 dollars you spend you get .10cents off each gallon of gas. Every so often they have deals where if you buy a gift card you get 3x the fuel points. They definitely add up, last time I fueled up I saved $1 off each gallon! That was from just buying gift cards for holiday gifts. Everyone that works here is also super nice and helpful. read more

Pay attention to what you're being charged @ this King Soopers in Louisville CO. RE: Today's purchases...The shelf price for my cheese was $4.99 but I was charged $5.99. Another item was organic carrots. Shelf price was $1.49 but I was charged $1.79. Did receive a refund. However, when I returned home, I see that (the 2 checkers trying to correct all this) charged me for 2 organic artichokes instead of 1. Should have been charged $3.99 but charged $7.98. This is absolutely unacceptable! No apologies either...Recently I've been doing my grocery shopping @ Sprouts instead. Have never had a problem with prices @ Sprouts. Makes me wonder just what's going with King Soopers... read more

This used to the only grocery store I would go to when I lived in Louisville. I have moved cities, but I still can not help stopping by and buying my groceries from here. They recently remodeled and the improved look of the place only makes it more difficult for me to go shop at another grocery store :) I would steal the phrase from Manisha P. (sorry Manisha) and say "OH My, the cheese Bar!" The better, bigger cheese bar with some artisan cheeses -- Yumm! The chekouts are one of the fastest in all of the King Soopers stores, there is more local produce and the place just has a sunny disposition to it! read more

The remodel is almost done and boy, do I love this store even more! I love the new roomier layout. And the cheese bar! Oh my, the cheese bar! Expensive but all manner of cheeses! I've always appreciated that King Soopers has a lot of local produce but now they have expanded their organic produce section. Local vs. organic is always a tough battle for me and I do admit that price plays a large role. But I love the selection at the store and that it feels so much more 'open.' Oh and coffee at the Starbucks inside the store will earn you points towards gas at the King Soopers gas station across the street. read more

This King Soopers has express checkouts but they are rarely open. It is a pain to use self checkout when you have a large amount of produce or are purchasing gift cards. My guess is that many of the elderly also prefer live checkers. Self service checkouts are a poor substitute for express checkouts. I am tired of waiting behind two to three large carts to purchase a half dozen produce items and am Amazon gift card. Soopers used to emphasize not having long waits to check out; those signs are conspicuously absent now. read more

This King Soopers is bomb. 4 stars for being the best Kings I've ever been in. This location is decently large (although not crazy big like the 120th one - I get lost in that one). They have a large selection of normal grocery items, produce, desserts and baked goods, and even household items. The organic and fresh produce at this Kings is unbeatable. They have a great selection of organic veggies all the time and they are very affordable. I often find veggies here that I couldn't find at Alfalfas, Vitamin Cottage, or Sprouts. The options for organic veggies definitely dwarfs the options for organic fruits. This location also has a great selection of natural food items including frozen foods, non-dairy items, and fake meats. They also have a good Asian and Latin food section for this size of store. I also like that they conveniently group natural items together and note them with the green banners. The store gets crazy busy on weekends so I suggest avoiding them if you can. The aisles aren't crazy wide so you will run into people. Also, the self checkout is often very full so be prepared. read more

I think the name is dated and silly, but the prices and selection make it worthwhile. I can find Enjoy Life products here, and the little containers of Nestle Dibs, which are awesome tiny balls of ice cream that are dipped in crunchy chocolate. (Soo good, I wish they had the big container!) The veggies have been fresh and the employees friendly. I've been pulled out of a line several times by an employee and taken to a previously closed register to be checked out. I've only had to get in an argument with a self-check out register once. I shop in the one in Lafayette and the one in Louisville, and go crazy because they have totally different layouts and I end up wandering about lost. This problem is aggravated by my cell phone, which totally spazzes out while I'm in the Lafayette store. I get a signal everywhere else but in the bowels of this store, which makes my phone start playing an annoying little series of beeps every minute or two. Awkward, and I eventually have to turn it off just to shut it up. No one else seems to have this problem. So if you're shopping here and keep hearing a soft 'tweedle eee deet" come and say hi to me! read more

My family and I have shopped in this store since moving to louisville in 1994. The most significant change in the last 12 months has been the attitude of the employees. Good luck getting through an aisle. There is likely an employee with one or more large carts blocking the way. When politely asked to move you are going to get a heavy sigh or rolled eyeballs. in some cases, you will simply be ignored. Do what we did. This is my go-to King Soopers location. I always find what I need here. Their products are well stocked and easily located. Staff are friendly and can help you if you're lost or confused. Sometimes I wish their bakery had a better bread selection, but I usually buy bread elsewhere anyway. They also have a fuel station (located across Plaza Drive, to the east). I'm always able to get in-and-out quickly (although I tend to avoid coming on the weekends). Self checkout makes the process seamless! read more

My cashier Andres B didn't remind me to use my King Sooper card and wanted me to use my fingernail to scratch off the pin number on the back of a gift card. SELF CHECK OUT is usually what I do and Ill keep doing that, sorry for using the humans for checking out, not fun. I'm going through a lot emotionally and these little things make my day upsetting. This store is close to my home but I really go out of my way to not shop here. They have the store SO packed with extra displays that it's impossible to get around the store with a cart. Just GIANT displays everywhere that make it impossible to shop if there are other people in the store. The staff can be pretty rude- it's not unusual to see staff flipping each other off/cussing/disrespecting products or customers. They are frequently out of products. It's almost guaranteed that I will walk out missing several items from my grocery list because they didn't have things in stock. And they really mismanage the space in their parking lot, taking up prime parking spaces with plants for half of the year and Christmas trees for another several months every year. KS as a whole tends to have decent prices, good sales, and worthwhile promotions. As a chain/brand, they are generally my go-to prefered store because they tend to carry a wide variety of products and fit in my budget. But this location is just so frustrating to shop at that it's not worth the savings. I've lived in this area for 15 years, and this location went from a really great place to shop at to somewhere I dread over the years. It just seems like they go out of their way to make it unpleasant from start to finish. I have shared my experiences with management a few times and they just don't care. I also moved all of my prescriptions from them to another provider. They are frequently (FREQUENTLY) out of medications, the lines are super long, their staff is apathetic and uncaring, and I just really found that my experiences with the pharmacy became more and more jarring as time goes on. I know working in the pharmacy is stressful and busy and I take that into consideration. But I use several medications on a regular basis and probably pick up scripts 2-3 times a month and I found that I was NEVER having a positive experience. The culture behind that counter seems to have soured over the past couple of years, and staff turnover has been high. Sorry, KS/Kroger, but this particular store needs some serious help. read more

They have done a lot to take this old grocery store into Yuppy town. It was always a nice home-town place to get your groceries. I always appreciated it because they have many of the 'hippy' brands I like from Whole Foods, at half the price. Recently they have remodeled and reorganized things. That went a long way to making the atmosphere more pleasant, but that wasn't necessary. I liked them before the remodel and will continue to shop with them. read more

So I've been waiting since Christmas to make this review trying to get a receipt that has the review on it but since I can't get it I'll leave it here on yelp. This is by far my favorite Kings during Christmas I ordered a 20 pound prime rib and it was huge had issues with putting it in the pan big enough called the butcher they walk me through how to cut it and retie it with the twine..I want to say Rick and Juan in the meat/sea food department. Thanks for the great service I couldn't ask for a better service Now today February 1 3:30 p.m. got late notice but I have to attend a funeral ,called the Bakery and she said she was on her way out the door but she would make the sheet cake before she left so that I will have it by 10 o'clock tomorrow morning her name is Sharenea once again best costume service ever I hope I got her name right.. This is a review for the pharmacy. Don't bother using them. They are so slow at filling prescriptions. Twice, I've gone there to pick up a script after several of business hours for them to fulfill it and it wasn't ready. Walgreens is so much faster and sends a text when the prescription is ready. read more

I have lived in Louisville for 20 years, and shopped this store. Everyone is friendly And helpful except the deli. Never enough help there. Today at 2:30 pm It's me and one other customer. The other customer is getting 3 sandwiches made. One clerk is baking chickens, and the third and last clerk is slicing meat. I wait 5 minutes while NO one acknowledges my existence. After 5 minutes, I ask the clerk slicing meat if she could wait on me soon. The woman making sandwiches tells me that the clerk I spoke to is getting an order together that someone emailed in, and they will get to me when they can. No apology, no service, just the usual abrupt people. I left. Apparently, if you want any service from the deli, you should email it in prior to getting there. read more

Go there specifically for their Mediterranean/olive bar ... full of beautiful whole-grain salads (tabouli, wheatberry, bean), dolmades, roasted garlic, sweet red peppers, marinated feta, etc. This particular KS has the biggest and best variety ... kudos to whoever is in charge of ordering. I go there at least 2x/wk to stock up. Pricey, but doesn't slow me down too much, unfortunately. read more

I have grocery stores that are closer to home, but I still go to this King Soopers. Good prices and selection. The remodeling project took forever but overall the store is clean, well stocked, and I'm finally learning where things are again. My only two issues with this store: Never enough checkout lanes open, and courtesy clerks do not know how to bag groceries. I have spoken with the head clerk about the bagging twice. I would almost rather bag my own groceries than have one bag that is over stuffed and two bags with one or two light items apiece. How hard can it be? read more

I have always like this store. However, the employees have recently been curt. And tonight the lady at the olive bar was rude, making a sarcastic comment about "You can't take the olives, we're closed." And then, when I put tried to stop getting the olives, "Finsih was you started," with irritation. And then, "Can't you read the sign?" Of course, the sign was at the far end of the olive bar - away from the store entrance and most of the produce section. The customer service desk said that I could not complain with paper - and more, surprisingly, that the only way I could complain online was by filling out a survey. Looking online, I could find neither a survey or a way to complain. So this were just one person at this store, but I guess King Soopers doesn't want to know about complaints? Used to be awesome, the only place in Louisville that was 24/7. This last month, however, they changed their hours to have a 5 hour shutdown. This leaves your 24 hr. Option to 7-11... Lame. I love the artisan cheeses, but the lady behind the bar is too stuck up, and caught in personal conversation with deli staff, to pay attention to customers. This is by far the worst King Soopers. But they all seem to think customer service is not a priority. There are no baggers, but there are employees with clip boards who stand around and watch us bag our own groceries. I have helped elderly people bag their groceries while they watch. I asked why they aren't helping, and they said they're not baggers. Well I don't even work there! In the deli, their job is to get out the food, not help customers. Employees are rude. It's as if mgmt tells them "We have the customers, just ignore them and get out the food" Aisles are difficult to get through as they are stocking shelves (yes, I know that it's important) but no care as to how a customer gets through the aisle, they don't care. Janet in the pharmacy is the only kind employee. I refuse to go to this store ever again. I now shop at Safeway in Erie and it's a pleasure. Everyone is working, what a concept. read more
