He is at an age where he wants as much hair piled on top of his head as possible. The problem is that the shape was out of control, so his hair never looked "done." It was a wild, curly, bushy mushroom, and I couldn't take it any longer. Jo assured my son that he'd still have ALL the hair, but the shape would frame his face better AND not look like a fungus growing on top of his head! He got the full service treatment with his cut, so he was in heaven and feeling like a grown up. The haircut was exactly what I'd envisioned. Clean, fresh and totally still "big" like his heart desired. We were both happy when Jo finished working her magic. So, yes...he still goes to his regular barber every month, but the cut he got at Jo's shop was by far my favorite and the experience made it more than just a bi-weekly haircut. The shop itself is modern, stylish and clean. There are personal touches around the shop that tell Jo's story and where her passion comes from.
