I had a 60 foot by 10 foot old asphalt driveway, and hired them to replace it with pavers. We recently had both our front & back yard landscaped after putting an ADU behind our house. Our constraints were budget & desire for low maintenance, low water usage, a new paved parking area, & some work out space. Eduardo, the owner of Aravat & our main point of contact, worked with a designer, Vasili, to come up with a plan : 1) using most of the existing plants & river rocks ; 2) eliminating grass in the front & back yard; 3) rebuilding a drip irrigation system; 4) creating a functional turf-based backyard space for workouts. We love the work, have had over half a dozen neighbors come by to compliment the new yard, & are very pleased with the results. Pros: 1) They completed the job on time within 4 weeks 2) They provided great value for the money & continuously worked with us to keep cost down 3) The front yard & curb appeal of our home looks great 4) Our contact person, Eduardo, was very personable & able to execute a somewhat massive job 5) Our designer, Vasili, provided a beautiful plan from which to work 6) They worked with us within our budget: For our budget, while most other companies would've been able to complete the essentials (e.g. basic irrigation, mulching, reuse of existing plants/rocks, paved parking), Aravat, for the same money, was also able to provide an attractive stepping stone walkway, more plants & trees (along with additional supporting irrigation) & landscape lighting. Basically, Aravat provided a complete front & back yard look while other companies could not. Possible Cons or Consideration: 1) Eduardo wasn't just our main contact but he is also the owner of the company so he couldn't be constantly on site. Consequently, we had to pause work a few times till we got aligned with him on how to proceed. We'd text back & forth or make appointments to see Eduardo on site for more complicated items. But they made their deadline. We had a small project of installing artificial turf in our back yard. Eduardo was the only one of 4 landscapers that actually came in person to give us an estimate and discuss the project. His price was in line with others but we liked the personal touch and his understanding of our needs. The workers did an awesome job of tear out of old lawn area, sprinklers, rocks, roots etc.... all of which they did by hand. They laid layers of gravel and sand, new wood edging and were very thorough and careful with the work. We were lucky that we wanted 15ft width, which is the size of the rolls, so we didn't need a seam. We went to their showroom to choose the turf from several types, although they will also bring samples to your house. We chose a natural looking, made in America, cool technology turf ("Natural Fusion Patriot") and we are very pleased with it. We were happy that the project took two full days plus a few hours, and they completed the work the week after we received the estimate. I would recommend Aravat without reservation. read more

Ten out of five stars, completely professional. I reached out to a handful of folks for estimates for back yard hardscaping. Aravat were reasonably priced, prompt and efficient in the scheduling of their estimate and providing that estimate, which included their state license. Once we decided to go with Aravat, all the good feelings from the initial visit continued. They had liability insurance and proactively provided evidence. They broke down the schedule of payments. They provided a lien release/waiver at each step of payment. Their workers were polite and professional. Once they got started, the walls themselves were up within days. They worked so very hard to provide alternatives for the stone choices that met our needs. And when - at the last minute - I asked them to add something on to the job that I hadn't considered, they were again unfailingly polite about alternative approaches, and provided an electronic change order for the change. Sigh. Nothing gets me like well organized people! Not only would I hire them again at a moments notice, I've told all my friends to as well. You can stop looking. We had a Oleander hedge when we bought the house. No walkways or park strip existed. Due to City's instructions, we had to remove the hedge completely which was done with the help of our gardener. We wanted to do the nicer walkway and park strip. Found good reviews about Aravat and Eduardo being the person to execute the work. After comparing couple of estimates, we decided to negotiate with Aravat and agreed on the price that worked for us. Eduardo and team started the work a week before planned as they had an opening and we were more than happy to see that the work was done earlier than expected. Following an accident that involved a car driving through our fence and hitting our bedroom wall, I decided to install safety bollards in my front yard. We had concrete work done on our side walk. Pricing was good but you pay for what you get. We asked for a darker color and got a very light color. He told me to call the color company myself and deal with it. Doesn't make sense when I paid Aravat directly. Teamwrkx Landscaping helped us out during a critical part of our renovation project. Under city requirements, we needed to do a variety of different updates to the property, including driveway work, new sidewalk, new brick porch and stairs, as well as various drainage, grading and landscaping projects throughout. I originally sent out a number of bids to contractors near and far, and Eduardo was the fastest to respond and had a very competitive proposal. I ultimately went with Teamwrkx because they were a one-stop shop for all of our needs. Other companies only specialized in landscaping or concrete-work and could not facilitate both, so this saved us a lot of time by not having to work with multiple contractors and subs. Additionally, Teamwrkx could start right away, which was not the case with the others. Eduardo was very easy to deal with, responding quickly to calls and texts. My backyard needed leveling, weeds cleared, French drains installed, and concrete work. We contacted Eduardo, and he was very responsive in scheduling a quote as well as follow up. I liked his attention to detail and his years of experience which could be seen in his responses. His team was knowledgeable and very efficient with the concrete and landscape work. Eduardo and team arrived early morning and got straight to clearing the yard. They brought in an excavator and quickly cleared and leveled the yard. A few days later, they competed the French drains, concrete forms, and rebar. On the day of the concrete pour, the concrete truck came by, Eduardo and and 7 other team members, worked like synchronized swimmers to get the concrete poured and leveled. They were incredibly efficient and knew exactly what they were doing because the concrete had to be formed and smoothened out quickly. Also, Eduardo did me a solid and went above and beyond. He helped me to get rid of some items left over from our remodel. Eduardo and team are landscaping professionals that got the job done right and on time. Would highly recommend. We asked Aravat to remove many strong roots from about 6" of top dirt, and to cover three sidewalk island areas with the river rocks. They did not remove roots from the top, but cover the top with river rocks. So the surface is not flat, but wavy. Unremoved roots makes it impossible to make the top flat. To sum it up: they did not do the hard part of pulling the roots out. Only the easy part of dumping the river rocks on top. read more

It saddens me to write this post, as I have almost never written a negative review but I wanted to let others know about my experience. Eduardo was SUPER prompt in responding to my Yelp message (which gave me high hopes)... We scheduled an appointment & he was even flexible when I needed to push back the time. He showed up (on a Saturday no less), we spoke about my vision, he took measurements & let me know that he'd have an estimate ready for me the next day. I mentioned, no rush, given that it was a Sunday but did mention that Monday would work. Monday came & went, no estimate. When I reached out, on Tuesday, he stated he'd have my estimate by 4pm that same day... 4pm came & went and when I reached out, AGAIN, for an update, he stated that they were really busy BUT would get me my estimate by EOD. No estimate showed up Tuesday evening & the lack of communication is just disrespectful. We have a small project & I gave Eduardo an open invitation to back out; letting him know that I understood if he was uninterested due to the small size of the project. Lack of communication. Very unprofessional. I contacted them on yelp and asked a quota with yelp build-in quota request. I included a lot of details and photos for a very simple work - demolition of the decorative wall. I got a standard reply a hour later suggesting to meet in person with no quota. I asked to provide a price range before meeting in person, because, you know, it is a pandemic outside! As a reply I got "I'm sorry in the pandemic time we do not work inside the houses for safety of our costumers". Not sure what that was.. are they just pass on me because I wanted online quota instead on meeting them? or do they truly not working inside the house at this time and they were going to waste my time on personal meeting to only tell that?
