A great selection of hoppy and dark beers. Friendly staff and cool vibe. I will revisit during my next trip to MI.

    Rainy day looking out

Sat here and watched the rain hit the opened garage door. Slow Sunday, picked up a bit after we arrived. We thought about food and didn't end up ordering, went to the next spot, the waiter took a few too long to return. Good selection, did snag a tag a brew- yes I'm that nerd.

This was the worst dining experience I've ever had in downtown Plymouth. We have been here before and it has never been great but has never been so bad that I felt it necessary to leave a bad review. This time, however, was absolutely atrocious. My group ordered four drinks which miraculously were ALL incorrect. My entree salad came with a topping as asked to be removed for allergy reasons. Food took almost an hour to come out. An order of fries took an additional 30 minutes and did the bill trapping us in this hell hole for a total of 2 hours when we only came in for a light lunch of salads and apps. Think twice before spending money here, we will never be back again. Bigalora, Nico and Valley, or Gastropub next door will offer you a much better experience. Go there.

I love Plymouth and everything this beautiful city has to offer. I found a new gem of a location in the arbor Brewing Company. The location is directly off Ann Arbor Trail accross from Kellogg Park. My son and I went for a drink and we liked the place so much we stayed for dinner. They Have a great selection of beers on tap, I believe they had nine that day. Never fear though because the selection continue with bottle and can selections as well. We ordered the pub burger and fries and the Atlantic salmon with house salad and rice. Both tasted amazing and paired well with our drink choices recommended by the bar tender. The place was white glove clean and had a warm and friendly atmosphere. The service was amazing and I will be coming back for more. Give this location I try and you'll be coming back for more as well.

I have visited Arbor Brewing Company before in Ann Arbor but not at the Plymouth location, and a friend and I decided to meet up in Plymouth today for lunch. I looked on Yelp beforehand to see what restaurants had patios, and Arbor Brewing Company came up, so we decided to try it out. It's actually right next door to Bigalora and I'm pretty sure they share bathrooms and also a kitchen. The restaurant seems to take its COVID protocols seriously, which is good, but when I passed by the kitchen to go to the bathroom a few times I did see some kitchen employees wearing their masks almost off their faces. ABC uses QR codes but it's one of the strangest setups I've seen so far. You walk into the restaurant to get seated, they seat you with the QR code, and then you scan it and order everything from there. This is where it gets tricky: my friend and I had both scanned the QR code and her order was coming up on my tab, since the QR code essentially combines our order. She ended up using a different QR code that was also at our table, and later when she went to check out her order was no longer "open" or something; she ended up having to go to the bar to check out. You can leave your tab open so to speak, or you can check out immediately after ordering. I'm guessing this is in case people want to order more drinks or food. I ordered a water, the Cucumber Lime Gose, the chicken sandwich, and fries. I'm not a big beer drinker but the gose was pretty good, it has kind of a sweet and salty taste. The chicken sandwich was also very good, it came with garlic aioli and you can also upgrade to a pretzel bun at no additional cost, which I did. However, everything was a little pricey; the chicken sandwich was $12 and then an extra $2 for fries. I saw that you could add veggie of the day for $3 extra but since we basically had no waitservice, I wasn't sure what the veggie of the day was, which is why I opted for fries instead. On their menu on their website, you can do a side salad instead of fries, but I didn't see that as an option today. The gose was $4.50 for a 10 oz. glass, which was reasonable. Overall my favorite thing I ate was the chicken sandwich; the fries were fine, but nothing special. I would come here again because it's in a nice location in Plymouth and the patio is really nice, but I'm not a fan of their QR code setup; If you wanted a water refill or something like that I imagine you would have to order more through the QR code. There was also a free parking lot nearby, which was convenient, and Plymouth also has street parking.

Small footprint with big taste! They offer a variety of beers that are ordered right from your phone. It works really nicely for social distancing since all ordering and payment is done from your own device. They have a shelf full of games if your group is looking for something extra to do. They also have trivia nights!

Pretzels with beer cheese and some kind of watery mustard. The beer cheese was excellent!

The ambiance of the place is good! However, I didn't care for not being being told that in order to order anything we had to use our phones to do it. They only had 2 options for cocktails and only dry wine options but a ton of beer choices. I ordered a coke because there wasn't many options for a fruity cocktail or a sweet wine. The coke there is nasty! It's like a Flat Faygo Cola.

My hubby and I wanted to try a new place and we were craving a cold beer, so Arbor Brewing Company was the winner. Once we arrived we were seated pretty quickly with a great view of the park and sidewalk to people watch. Our waitress, Cheyenne, was super sweet. She was able to explain all the different types of beers that I may be interested in. Typically I'm a cider drink, but the beers on tap looked interesting and yummy! After explaining to me what I may like based on being a cider drink, she offered me a few samples. Loves the pollination sensation! Sometimes I like beer, who knew? After ordering our drinks, we started off with the crispy cauliflower. That was super yummy! The sauce comes on the side, so you can make it as saucy as you would like. After appetizers, we enjoyed the chili and Reuben sammie. Both good choices! The chili reminds me of a dip. Comes with chips, which was a great surprise. We ordered a scoop of ice cream for dessert. Not on the menu, but I asked our server. Ice cream makes me happy! Definitely looking forward to coming back!

Ask the Community - Arbor Brewing Company

Do you offer gluten free beers or beverages ? Gf food?

They have always have 1-2 local ciders when I go. They have been able to accommodate GF on the brewing side when I've visited. The Italian / pizza side of the Plymouth location has lots of GF options.

    Do they take reservations?

    Yes, we take reservations!

The food always tastes fantastically fresh, and the beer hits the spot. I've had the reuben (so tasty) but the grilled chicken sandwich really absolutely blew me away. I didn't know it could make me so happy. On this occassion, I ordered the half-size caesar salad with grilled chicken, and I could feel happy and content that I'd gone the healthier route while still treating my tastebuds. Also, as if to go above and beyond in service, I had a nearby meeting and placed my take away order before my meeting kicked off, telling them what time I expected to be done. When my meeting finished? A freshly made lunch was waiting for me. Magical. Game changing. So happy. The only caveat I could say that it has a very small seating area, and, depending on whether or not there are conference-type events in VistaTech, it can get very busy very quickly. For that I would potentially knock it down to a 4.5 star, but the food and beer quickly makes up for it. So happy to see these kinds of food offerings to Schoolcraft's campus. They've done a stellar job, and it'd be nice to see them expand.

We were here in December so the patio wasn't open but looks roomy with many picnic tables. We opted to sit at the bar because that's usually where we get personal with brew pubs we love to discover. We always search local brews when traveling and 9/10 times the bartender will greet us, ask if we've been there, make recommendations or tell us a bit about the brewery style. Not here. I'm not sure the bartender ever even made eye contact and pretty sure he wanted to be there even less than he wanted us to be there. We did get a few beer samples by request, but no recommendations, he didn't ask what we thought and he made us feel very unwelcome right from the start. However, once that bartender was relieved the new bartender was chatty and friendly to the new customers. We had finished our beers and meal by that time and just needed to cash out. So I would say maybe it's just that one employee. We had the pretzels. Kudos to the pretzel bread-- it was delicious. Beer cheese was pretty good, as was the mustard. We asked about the menu and what he recommends (still trying to be friendly and get him to warm up). He recommended the special menu, so we ordered the Blackened Salmon sandwich. It was okay/average. Fries were cold. We ordered the Table Talk beer and I enjoyed it. I'd say that the beer was the best part of the whole experience. Overall I'm glad we tried it but we wouldn't go back. If the bartender had been more welcoming and interested in sharing a bit more about the concept, we would give it a second try when we head out there again. It's always good to try other food items and beers, but the vibe doesn't warrant a second try. I can understand if a place is busy, but we were there at 2pm on a Saturday and were two of four at the bar and he didn't look to be super busy with the restaurant as a whole. It's always so disappointing when service falls so short on something that could be such a unique experience. Three stars for the beer and pretzel.
