There comes a time when you're going to suffer mishap with your cellphone no matter how careful you are in protecting it. My most recent one was very mind-boggling to say the least, and this came after downloading the newest iOS version to my iPhone and I couldn't get my device to boot-up. Likewise, I couldn't use the restore function either, which meant my phone was dead in the water, and I needed help fast! I knew I needed professional help, so after reading the reviews for "Ann Arbor iPhone & Macbook" on Yelp, I knew this was my first go to choice. I decided to drive down to Washington Street, rather than call on the telephone. I talked with Jack on the phone, and he came right over to look at my phone. After examining the patient, he decided to download the iOS update again, and reboot my phone. After that I was able to access my iCloud, and restore the phone back to normal. Honest and ethical work! Jack also stands behind his repairs! My 6s had a cracked screen. I don't know much about the phones hardware but I sure learned a lot as he walked me through what he was about to do. How I found 911 iPhone Repair was after having lunch at one of my favorite restaurants. Sure enough Jacks sign was oddly placed on the sidewalk. The timing couldn't have been perfect and his location is 7 minutes from where I live. There is a flight of steps and a short hallway to get to his office. Once you're at the top of the steps 911 iPhone Repair is straight ahead. The office is clean and has seating. There is a beverage center with bottled water as you wait. Need to run to the restroom? It's on the same floor down the hall to your right. Payment is simple. Cash or CC. I'm sure I'll break my phone again or my iPad I just hope it's not anytime soon. Jack and his colleagues are AMAZING! I took my phone elsewhere for repair (before I found 911 iPhone repair) and the other place butchered it. All I wanted to do was retrieve the data because I failed to back it up myself. I was told by the previous shop it was was a lost cause, I'll never get my data no matter where I take it to. Took it to Jack for a second opinion and he got all of my data! When I arrived Jack had my info on a hard drive which he helped me transfer to my computer, then made sure the data took and that my phone backed up! The shop is very quirky but in a cute way, so I wasn't even sure that I walked into the right place. After calling multiple times and trying to get my phones back or money that was promised, he essentially blew me off and has taken my phones. I can't get my phones back or any money. These are iPhone 6, 8, and X. Not enough value to take further action but needless to say I'm not happy. Also to be noted, the store is full of mannikins which is odd for phone repair shop. Experiences like this are why I love living in a small town. Brought my unusable, cracked-beyond-all-recognition phone in at 1pm, left with completely repaired, functional phone at 1:15pm. I almost wish it had taken longer because Jack was fun to talk to. Fantastic service! We were visiting Ann Arbor when I discovered my iPhone 7 was in need of a new battery. We sat and waited while my battery was replaced. The owner (and the shop) has a very relaxed vibe and we waited there while he replaced the battery. He also investigated a problem I was having with the microphone (works all the time except on voice memo) and he explained I could record using headphones if I chose not to replace the mic.
