Fantastic experience with Arboriculture Services! We had a tree removal scheduled with another tree service company here in Frisco and when they arrived they told us that they were not comfortable removing the tree because it was bigger than they thought. We were frantic to find someone as we had a warning from the HOA to remove the tree. We found Arboriculture Services on the next-door app and gave them a call. Within a few hours an Arborist, by the name of John came out to discuss our situation. This was a big tree between our house and the neighbors. John discussed exactly how they would remove the tree. His explanation was specific to detail and I was assured we had the right company now. Though the price was about 10% higher, the knowledge given was priceless. The removal was scheduled for the following day, when the crew arrived every worker had a specific task. It was amazing to see them work. I was getting ready to put our house on the market and had several people tell me that I really needed to get my trees trimmed to help with curb appeal. I called chippers and they said they would be right out to give an estimate. So I didn't call anyone else until I could hear their estimate. The next day they said they would be right out. 4 days later I called a second company (I don't remember their name). I filled out their form on the web and waited. 2 days later I called Arboriculture Services. I got a call back the next day. John called and said he would be out within the hour. I told him that I was primarily interested in curb appeal. He gave me the estimate and I agreed to have it done. After we agreed on the price, he said that my bushes out front were really ragged and he would clean them up at no extra charge. WOW! A 5 man crew showed up at 08:30 the next morning. They left at 10:30 and the yard was beautiful and not a trace of any debris anywhere. They really did a great job! read more

I was in need of tree trimming services and was referred to John with Arboriculture. When I called to get a estimate they gave me a couple hour window for the appointment and gave me a 30 minute courtesy call prior to showing up. This was helpful since I work just 20 minutes down the road and didn't have to sit around waiting all day. The Arborist was there waiting on me when I pulled up and we quickly started discussing my options. What really impressed me was the passion for what John is doing. He took the time and explained the three levels of pruning that he could offer all with a different price point, what he recommended for the trees at their age and why....very thorough!!! The other bid I received was a simple "we will trim your trees for $$$", not knowing what I'd get! We decided to go with Arboriculture as there price was in line with a couple of the other bids and their reviews on other social media were very positive. Wow is the only word I have. I just could not be happier with the job John and his crew did for us! I emailed John asking for an estimate to trim all 7 of the trees on our property. He called me just a couple of minutes later and, as chance would have it, he was just around the corner from me coming from another job. He was at my house within minutes and then walked me around explaining what he suggested for the trees and why. He was very knowledgeable, professional, and personable. His prices were reasonable and so I signed the contract. His crew showed up the next day and did such an amazing job! We contacted Arboriculture Services after seeing their Ad in one of the local magazines. Within a few hours of my call they showed up and we were talking about our tree removal and they handed us the estimate on the spot. Upon talking with them I recognized that they had also trimmed the trees for our church....this made me feel very comfortable. After talking with other tree companies Arboriculture just seemed to have a passion for what they did...not just another job and were priced in the middle so we contracted with them. The Arborist, Richard was so polite and helpful in describing the removal process, since most of the tree was over the house. These guys were so careful with my property and under tree plantings, as they went beyond my expectations. I was truly impressed by John and his crew. I live on a creek with many trees and really needed help taming them. I needed two trees taken out and several trimmed. John worked with me to stay within a comfortable budget for me, and I found him easy to communicate with over the phone and in person. He was also prompt in getting the job done considering the scope of the work. His crew was also very professional and skilled. I could tell they had experience and knew what they were doing. I typical don't write reviews, but John and the team at Arboriculture Services did such an outstanding job I wanted to recognize them. The time and knowledge they spent outlining our tree situation and making sure we understood what good "looks like" I felt was second to none. We had several old trees that were dead and a few that were dying. Even though it changed our landscape and view I know that we made the right educated decisions to remove them so that the other trees have a change to flourish. The crew was very friendly, accommodating, and talented. The trees they trimmed up also look great. After the job was done they did a great job of cleaning up as well. Warning.. Stolen deposit by this company. John came out to my house to give a quote for tress service. He said he would give a discount if I paid half the deposit that day. Gave him $400 deposit for an awesome deal..... And the guy never showed up and will not answer my calls. This company is very unethical and known for over charging customers and not complete work. Unfortunately, i read other review too late. Check reviews on places other than google because John is able to alter his reviews on Google.. James and the crew at Arboriculture were a pleasure to work with. They were doing our neighbors tree across the street and it looked amazing. I asked the crew leader (James) that we would like a estimate for trimming our two trees. He went through all the options about trimming a tree, age, variety and how much could actually be removed without hurting the tree, very educated approach to trimming! Without fail, his crew arrived timely this morning, they were courteous about moving patio furniture away from area of branches falling and placed everything back before leaving. Incredible service from a fabulous crew! John responded within minutes of my request for a quote to remove 2 Arizona Ash trees that fell victim to old age (32+ yrs old) & Emerald Ash Borer. John assembled a crew that removed the trees within days of initial request without incident. Still have received a refund from not having work done by arboriculture services. Hired company to fix broken tree and minor landscaping. After not so good tree service I decided against additional work. Owner will not refund money that was paid in advance after he stated he would. Owner assured me check was in the mail on several occasions but check never came. This was in December 2013. Now I cannot get in touch with the owner and he will not return my calls. read more

This group is fantastic and extremely professional. They removed a tree from my backyard, trimmed my two large trees in the backyard and ground out a stump in my front yard. Not only was the estimate fair but they recommended I spend LESS money on my trees in the backyard because the extra expense wasn't necessary right now. How incredible is that?! This is the second time I have used Arboriculture. We had some newly planted trees that were suffering, Arboriculture suggested some sort of vitamin treatment for them, and we saw a huge improvement in them. I recently used them to trim all 5 of my trees and give them all the vitamin treatment again. The trimming was done quickly, cleanup was great, and the trees look much better. These guys are great! Amazingly fast service, considering the time of the year. Quick, free estimate and they had the tree down less than a week later. Very professional, knowledgeable and considerate. John talked to us and explained everything in great detail.
