Family-owned, Roma's was a delightful experience. After being seated, we were greeted by a friendly server and ordered our beverages. Browsing the menu, I ordered a Bosco Stick and a medium pizza. The Bosco Stick was warm and filled with gooey cheese. It reminded me so much of the Bosco Sticks I would eat as a child. The meat sauce was a great addition to use as a dip and wasn't too meaty. I ordered a medium pizza with extra cheese, jalapeños, and mushrooms. It was so good! The pizza came out about 25 minutes after ordering and satiated my pizza craving! Roma's is nothing fancy, however, it is a comfortable environment with delicious and affordable food. Next time I am in town, I will have to come back!

So, I made the drive to B-Town and did carry-out from Roma's I placed my order on-line, which was extremely easy. I ordered a Sausage & Onion Pizza and a Small House Salad with House Dressing. I even paid for it on line and put a tip on the carry-out. When I arrived, instead of going inside, I decided to try the Drive-Thru Pick-up. They have designated lanes to take you to the back of the restaurant. That's where you'll see associates running back-n-forth from the kitchen to cars delivering the pizzas. Once it was my turn, the young lady asked my name and went into retrieve my order. When she brought it out, she had me sign the credit card slip. To my surprise, it had an additional space for another tip. I don't think so, I left it blank. I already tipped when I ordered on-line. My salad and pizza hit the spot. My pizza was still a good temperature for eating after the 15 minute drive home. I love their cheese.

It was one of those mornings and I had a craving for, Chicken Fried Steak. So I headed out of the house, to enjoy a nice breakfast at a diner. I hadn't been to B Town in a while, so even with the current gas prices, I made the drive to Bethalto. Their Chicken Fried Steak came with eggs, so I had mine scrambled. It also came with a choice of Hash Browns or American Fried Potatoes. I asked the waitress what her favorite was and she said, American. The American Fried are done totally in house. That sold me. It also came with toast, but I took a pass. They provided a steak knife with my breakfast, but it wasn't needed. The meat was tender and it was easy to break off a bite using just a fork. My eggs were fluffy and the potatoes were a good choice. So, always listen to your server. One thing I really like about B Town, is they do not overly season their food. I like the fact that I actually need to add more salt or pepper to my entree. I hate it when some places overly salt food. Good Food, Good Prices and Good Service will have me coming back for another breakfast. I might even come and check-out their lunch menu.

I didn't end them, but I bonus was, a hook and outlet was under the bar right in front of my stool. I didn't want the Friday special, even though some Fried Fish was tempting. All I wanted was some of their incredible hand cut and breaded onion rings. I paired them with a 6 piece bone in chicken wings in mild sauce. When served, I was pleased to see my order had equal flats and drums. The wings and rings were very filling. I ended up taking two rings and one flat and one drum home. They re-heated very well for the next days lunch. The service was a little off, but I will admit they were slammed. The bartender was slow on greeting and doing follow-up. It may have helped if they had an extra person behind the bar. Even a bar-back would have helped. They may have lost a star this visit, but I am sure they'll get it back soon.

The food menu has a lot of solid options, but the wings are easily the best in the area, huge, meaty, and packed with flavor. Great variety of beers on tap too. Definitely a spot worth checking out if you want good food, cold beer, and a relaxed atmosphere.

It's an ideal place to grab your morning caffeine or a quick lunch, while supporting a small business. My Order: Mango Passionfruit Iced Tea & The Italian Sandwich Food/Drinks: The coffee menu is extensive, and they have a decent tea menu (my tea was Stash). There's a small bakery/pastry case, plus a few sandwiches and salads on the menu. After eating there, I checked out their social media; it looks like they have occasional specials that they post. I enjoyed my tea, and the Italian Sandwich was delicious. My sandwich came with a little cup of oil with herbs, which was so good! Atmosphere: The inside is simple, yet inviting. There's a counter where you order, and two small rooms with a few tables in each room. There's also a few tables outside, which I would have sat at had it been a little bit warmer. The woman working the counter was friendly and helpful. Logistics: It's 3 hour street parking, but I had no trouble finding a spot. The building is sort of on the corner/side road. Once inside, head up to the counter to order.
