My order was ready and wrapped up in about 3 minutes and still piping hot when I got home. I really loved everything I had - the bone in the porksteak had fallen out it was so tender. I would definitely order the potatoes and beans again but will probably want to branch out to try some of the other sides the next time I go. The porksteak was pretty saucy so I would recommend asking for that on the side if you don't like a ton of sauce on your BBQ. The staff was super friendly and the inside is pretty bare bones with simple table & chair set up but clearly kept very clean. There were 3 tables of people eating when I came in. I'm not 100% sure, but I do think I saw at the check out that you get a discount if you pay in cash (I know some other local places pass on card processing fees to customers so not unheard of). I paid in cash and my plate was $13 and well worth it! I'll definitely be back to try the ribs or brisket soon!

I took the hostess' recommendation since I was torn between the adobo pork tacos and the 2 meat platter. She suggested sampling just 1 of the tacos and then also getting the 2 meat platter; allowing a good perusal of the offerings there. So delicious was the taco that I was genuinely sad I only had the one. The cilantro crema really highlighted the smoky pork perfectly. It was a short sadness though since I dove into the platter next. I got the pulled pork and shrimp platter with 5 cheese mac-n-cheese and coleslaw. The only better pulled pork I've had is made by my husband. Really impressed with the hostess, the food, and the quickness for takeout. The store is spacious and set up nicely without pretension. The only complaint I can come up with is the location/parking area isn't the best. It's tucked away behind a crappy roadway and parking can be a bit tight for bigger vehicles. Overall... a definite addition to our restaurant visit rotation.

Seemed weird because usually delivery comes to the door. Went out and got the food which the total price was 45 and some change. Give the guy a 50 and told him keep the change. Unwrapped the food and it looked terrible. Mac and cheese looked old. Rib tips looked like chopped up pork steak that was boiled with sauce poured over it. I've been to the restaurant when it was open but this is ridiculous!!!!! Please do not get fooled into ordering from here.

Waited 30 minutes when I noticed only two tables had food delivered since we sat down. I looked around and counted 18 tables that were sat before us patiently waiting for food. I then saw Doc walk out the door carrying a paper bag that appeared to contain food. Two possible managers going table to table blaming a new line cook for the delay. Here's the issue. Docs items are not cooked to order. Owners don't walk out when 80% of their patrons are experiencing extended waits on food, and one new employee should not be the excuse given at Doc's Smokehouse. Docs has great food, and amazing customer service. Hopefully what happened Friday night is not the new norm. Go try docs, but don't count on it being the service that you're used to getting.

We were quickly served our drinks and waited for our overly large order (we wanted to try lots of things). The ribs were delicious. Just enough smoke (this is not Texas BBQ) and so juicy. My husband's pulled pork was very good and thankfully did not come sauced already. The turkey very moist and tender and flavorful. Yum. The burnt ends were a little dry, but can be forgiven because it was near the end of the night. We were checked on frequently, drinks refilled. Then we had the opportunity to meet Susan, the owner. If you don't know Susan was a competition BBQ'r for many years before opening her restaurant with her husband and you can see all her trophies and ribbons in the room She graciously bought us some bread pudding and gave me a little secret about it! If you think this is anything other than spectacular there is something wrong with your pallet. We have eaten around the world in some very high end restaurants and that gave us as much satisfaction and joy as many a dessert. Delicious. My husband was trying to be good but sadly had to finish the lot Lovely experience, delicious BBQ. Not as smoky as Texas which is what we are more familiar with but we enjoyed it a lot. The seasoning in the breading was simple, but full of flavor. I loved the fries, they were seasoned with salt and pepper. The blend of S&P was so good, I didn't need ketchup. KKC is one of those restaurants that you order at the counter and if you dine-in, they'll bring your food to you. The dining room is small and simple, it's just table and chairs. Only decor is their logo painted on one of the walls. In addition to the delicious food, the staff is professional and friendly. As a side note, Kaden's Kickin Chicken is owned by a female. So you're not only supporting a local business, you're supporting one owned by a woman, too.

That's a big helping of a side dish. I wish they offered two smaller portions as the side, like most BBQ joints do. I asked the young girl working which sides were made in house and it took her by surprise. I then asked if some of the sides came from a food vendor. Then she stammered the answer, "I've heard him say, that he makes them all." I ended up ordering the Smoked Beans. I'm picky about my beans and these lacked seasoning and were bland. The brisket was cut thick and was on the chewy side. I prefer my brisket cut thinner and much more tender. My order of ribs, shocked me. They were the first ribs that I ever had that did not have the membrane on the back of the ribs removed. The ribs did have good seasoning, since the membrane was not removed, they were tough.
