The minute we walked in-he was engaging and trying to fill our mouths with the delicious food that he prepares. This in itself is so special and satisfying. The shop is warm and inviting. It's simple, clean, and fresh. The meatballs were so delicious and flavorful, and the bread was fresh in the truest form of flavor. The salad was packed with so many different Italian combinations of garnish that it was a meal in itself! The rice balls were shared with a local bartender on the way home and they were a big hit! Again, the owner went above and beyond to fill our bags to the brim. The food was cooked from the freshest ingredients. He is also giving cooking lessons and will be implementing the "real Italian" pasta soon! Cannot recommend this establishment enough.

The consensus was a build-your-own culetto, which sounded right up my alley. The ordering process was easy, although there were a few differences between the restaurant's menu (found on Yelp/social media) and DoorDash (no wheat bread option and aged provolone was the only cheese available). One thing I appreciated: you could pile on multiple meats without an upcharge. Naturally, the dietitian side of me chose turkey. The food-lover side of me immediately regretted it. My work partner ordered the meatball version, and wow - those meatballs, the sauce, and that crusty bread were clearly the winning combination. The sandwiches were served in little soup cups to help hold what I can only describe as a "bread pocket." It was delightfully messy, involved a fair amount of crunching, and was absolutely worth it. The office also requested tiramisu, so I ordered a couple individual cups, along with a sfogliatella. If you've never had one, imagine the love child of a croissant and a pastry shell: dozens of delicate, flaky layers that shatter with every bite, surrounding a lightly sweet ricotta filling with hints of citrus and vanilla. It's crisp, creamy, buttery, and delicate. Overall, I'm grateful for this opportunity to something a little different. Next time, I'm skipping the sensible turkey and going straight for the meatballs.

One of the pieces of furniture brought directly overseas from the region of Rome, Italy. Oh, it is so antiquated and exquisite in detail.

Dibella's Subs finally won my heart after a recent catering order. It wasn't just about the…read moresandwiches. It was about the aesthetics of everything that actually stood out. Everything looked so nice, clean and tidy. All condiments, such as mayonnaise, mustard, banana peppers and onion, were packed separately. The Dibella's Famous Oil Dressing came in a cute little bottle. I loved it. Don't forget to shake it well ;). The massive sandwiches were cut into four pieces and served on an eighteen-inch-diameter covered tray. Ask people to come hungry because there was plenty of food. Everything was fresh and full of flavor. Sorry, vegans and vegetarians, the Veggie Sub was good, but all kinds of meats is the way to go. I only wished they were more generous with cheese. Be sure to order at least 24 hours in advance for catering.

DiBella's came highly recommended by some folks at our nearby hotel, so we stopped in to get some…read moresandwiches. This location is clean, staffed with friendly employees, and has plenty of free parking. Inside, it looks like an old school sub shop. Black and white floors and dark booths, with an open kitchen where the bread is baked fresh. I did find it strange that on a Friday night at 6 pm the place was completely empty, which would normally be a sign of either high prices or bad food. DiBella's had neither. The menu is very easy to understand and easy to customize. You pick your bread, your meats, your toppings, any sides, and pay. I went for the smallest size sub on wheat with turkey, honey mustard, lettuce and tomato. Classic and simple. Hubby got the bigger Italian sub on white bread. I also got a side of macaroni salad, because I absolutely love East Coast noodle salads. Our food came out fast and our orders were both correct. The small sandwich was perfect for me, but it would definitely be too small for those with larger appetites. My wheat bread was clearly overcooked and a little dry, which was a major disappointment. The turkey was like a processed turkey loaf which also let me down. I also didn't have enough mustard on my sub. Hubby didn't have any comments on the meats on his sub, but he said they weren't the best he'd ever had. He raved about his bread and the oil and other toppings. The macaroni salad was my favorite thing, it was tangy and sweet and delicious. I did think the portion size of the side was far too small. I'll definitely come back to DiBella's, but I'll try the white bread as well as different meat next time (or maybe just veggie and no meat at all). I found the quality of the deli meat lacking, which was a big disappointment. However, there's enough to like about the subs and the prices are more than fair, so they deserve another shot. Make sure you sign up for their rewards program. I downloaded the free app and got a free small sub for very little effort.

Loaded with fresh colorful ingredients . Remember. You eat with your eyes first! I got the toppings on the side. They included Asian soy sauce, sweet chili sauce, & house made spicy mayo. The combination added the perfect flavor to the dish. I also purchased a bottle of their house made Avacado lime dipping sauce and already tried it on chicken. Very tasty!
