First of all, the design is somewhere between McDonald's and a falafel place! So don't expect too much. But the staff were super nice and friendly and helpful. We tried the hell's kitchen and burger authority. The burgers were decent with a nice charcoal smell. To my surprise, they were cooked very well too. We did not have much luck with the sides though. The fries and the onion rings did not taste fresh and were very greasy. All in all, I think they serve good burgers for $10. The burger was delish! It actually had whole black beans in it, corn and something that appeared to be rice. It was good! The black bean burger is $10. It's an additional $3 for fries or $4 for fries and a drink. So $13 plus tax was a bit much for a burger and fries and at a fast food style restaurant no less. That's just my opinion, but I would get it again! It also didn't come with cheese for $10 and would've been $1 more. I didn't realize I wasn't getting cheese on my burger when I ordered a black bean burger. Insert LMAO emoji. I honestly did not expect to give Burger Authority 5 stars but they gave me no option. I stopped by Burger Authority with my girlfriend last Friday because she wanted a burger and they definitely hit one out of the park. The menu here offers a bunch of different sandwich and burger options along with having a plethora of sides from chicken fingers and mozzarella sticks to French fries and poutine. I decided to order a Thanksgiving Turkey burger which ground turkey, chipotle honey sauce, lettuce, and onions (I opted not to get a pickle or tomatoes). We also ordered some of the garlic French fries on the side along with a vanilla/chocolate milkshake on the side go wash everything down. The turkey burger was absolutely delicious and 10x better then I expected to get. The chipotle honey sauce was really good and very flavourful. The garlic fries were also really good and although they might be a bit too much for some people, they tasted just right for me. My milkshake capped the meal off and was also pretty good, nothing out of the ordinary but a solid milk shake none the less. Overall, I had a great first experience at Burger Authority. The food I had was really good and far exceeded my expectations. On top of having some delicious food the gentleman behind the register was super friendly and wonderful to deal with. I ordered the Managers deal which included a regular beef burger with $1 added pepper jack cheese, fries and a can of coke altogether including tax was $ 11.95/- Now for the taste, I ordered a no pink and it was cooked just right and not dry, the bun was fresh and the vegetables. Very disappointed in this place. I came here to try their burgers after repeatedly seeing them on a delivery app, and boy am I glad I came here in person and experienced a series of unfortunate events. 1. One of the cooks, who was also checking people out, was not wearing his mask properly. I shrugged it off, because many people improperly wear their masks below their nose. However, it was definitely foreshadowing of the events to come. 2. A different cook came out to cash out a different customer, and accidentally knocked a glass vase that shattered all around us. He picked up a couple pieces but left most of the glass shattered on the ground. Talk about a safety hazard! 3. As I was waiting for my order, I noticed that neither cook was wearing gloves. Now let me be clear: I am not naive and am well aware that people avoid adhering to sanitation guidelines even before COVID was an issue, but seeing your food prepared with dirty hands is even grosser despite what's going on! If you're going to have a window into your kitchen, you should probably make sure you're not breaking basic sanitary guidelines in plain sight. Both cooks were not only cooking without gloves, but even worse they were cooking without gloves AND handling credit/debit cards without washing their hands. Theoretically they don't even deserve one star, but hey, at least they gave us a refund -- even though they initially tried to give us a coupon. (Like no, why would I want a coupon to return to this place when I don't even want the food you're preparing me?) All in all, I would urge folks to stay away from Burger Authority. Establishments who do these things in public typically guilty of even worse operations and food handling when you're not looking. This was my first time dining at Burger authority. I was able to place my order via Yelp, which was amazingly awesome. The only downside to the online menu is that I had to scour the internet to figure out what each type of meal contained. I scheduled my order to be picked up and I got the delicious veggie burger and fries. The pick up was ready when I walked in and the folks who worked there were super friendly. Finally when I got to the restaurant, it was absolutely dead with maybe 1 customer who got there 5 minutes before I did. Then, I asked the cashier why they didn't pick up my calls 5 times and he asked me to call in front of him to see if they got my call. It went through THAT TIME but for some reason didn't the last 5 times I called over the past 30 minutes before. Right as I was placing my order and choosing what item I wanted, the cashier disrespectfully answered a call right in front of me instead of finishing my order, inconveniencing me again by several minutes as he finished the order that started after I came in. Finally upon placing the order, I was told to wait 25-30 minutes - for food that one would consider fast food. I planned ahead and called 30 minutes earlier only for them to NOT pick up any calls and waste an additional 30 more minutes of my time. If you are supposedly "busy" enough to be able to ignore paying customers, please get additional call lines, pay attention to the scalability of your business. The only reason I chose this place after this SAME THING happening twice in a row before the THIRD time today was because it is the only halal burger place nearby right now that is open. I am a super fan of burgers !!!! And Thai place is a rock ! It is located right across from university of buffalo south campus facing Main Street . Very clean and newly built restaurant. A very welcoming gentleman took our orders and made some recommendations to us as it was our first time, and he was so right !! I got the burger authority which was their signature comes with mushroom and onion. Very delicious and tasty! I also got a half portion of onion ring ( I shared one with my fiancé so technically I got half ) they split the portion back in the kitchen so when I got my food it came with half a portion of onion rings ( very nice of them to do it without us even telling them ) . When we were half through our meals some one brought us another super big plate of extra onion ring and they said they thought our onion rings were not enough when they surged our food ! I was really impressed by their service and their food. I gir my burger well done which was really good and greatly cooked. Buns were tasty too. It was a bit spicy which I loved it for it but make sure if you are into spicy food , ask them to not Include the hot sauce in your burger ! I love Burger Authority! I've been here many times, maybe everyday when it was finals week and I was studying by south campus. I usually get their chicken sandwiches, I think the one I usually get is their Spicy Chicken sandwich. It's super filling and I think worth it for $9-10. (10/10) The fries here are perfect and crispy. (10/10) The wings are great! I've tried the mango habanero and red chili, they're exactly what you'd expect. (10/10) I'm not very fond of their beef burgers (6/10) they're average, the patty lacks in flavor. A meal will cost you about $15-20 if you get a burger/sandwich, fries and a drink. They do have a 10% discount for UB students! Some things to note, its a small restaurant, so when every table is filled it can take a good half hour to get your order. They do let you know that the kitchen is busy, I think only one chef is making the food and the person in the front goes to help when it's busy. So go there with time on your hands. I also like to come here because 1) it's halal and 2) to support my Bangladeshi uncles. There's a growing community in Buffalo and I think they're worth the trip! read more

I really loved their burgers. I got to try the Burger Authority and the Hell's Kitchen and I really enjoyed both of them! The service was really good as well. The patties were a bit more done that we had asked for but that was no problem since they were still juicy. The sauce was delicious too and we added some of their special sauces which they had on the counter near the door. It's pretty small and modest inside, so don't expect much in that regard and don't go in large groups. I really liked the fact that their burgers taste quite different from your average American burger! I hope they keep up the good work! The only thing I really disliked was unfortunately their fries and onion rings; both were too fried and seemed to be very greasy.
