Driving north and lovely sis wanted Arby's. Close to 1 million restaurants in the US and we pick the worst one. I ordered the French dip sub, extra meat. A classic roast beef in cheddar. Jalapeño poppers, mozzarella sticks and their peach egg rolls and a small coke. I'm thinking the lady taking our order was new... no biggie. $34. They parked us...normally not a big deal if the food is "good". It wasn't. They forgot our coke. No biggie he went in and brought it out. Their signature roast beef is fowl. They forgot the "double beef" on the Swiss dip...which didn't matter because I couldn't eat it. It had a slime, fowl taste to it and I just couldn't eat it. 2 bites and that was it. My 5 star service still remains! The drive thru moved fast, and the lady taking orders was friendly. Our food was hot, fresh and quick. The only thing is: I was starving so $12 for a sandwich didn't seem to go that far. I did try to the blueberry lemonade drink today and it was SWEET, good thing I got a regular size. While it seems hard to admit, this Arby's gets the 5 star rating! I have been in here a few times, and it's always clean. Everything tidy, and wiped down. Even when I'm at the drive through window, the staff is always patient, kind, and I don't think I have ever had a wrong order here. The classic Roast Beef sandwich and curly fries, is hard to miss. Simple, hot and made right. No problems at all. Plus, a buffy chicken slider for $1 is a killer add on (I like the pizza one too). Hot food, and quick, friendly service, and your order is always correct... that's a hard combination to beat, and these people should be acknowledged for nailing it! 5 STARS read more

Took the Wife to try the new Fish and chips they have been advertising. We've been to that store a few times over the years but this time was a big difference. It was very clean, the service was fast and the new General Manager came to the counter to help us order. Very nice change for sure. Now the food; there are three different iterations of the new fish. A 3 piece, a 5 piece, and a Cajun spicy fish wrap. Each of the 3/5 piece Can be fish only or a meal with curly or Kringle Cut fries, plus a drink. We selected a 3 and a 5 piece and ended up with four pieces each which was perfect for lunch. The fish is amazing! We have 6-7 places around here that serve fish but this is now at the top of the list for fish. The hush puppy breading on the fish is packed with flavor, maybe the best tasting fried fish ever. It comes with tartar sauce that was bright, creamy and a perfect match to the flavor of the fish. We only got half our drive through order when we were driving back home the Friday after thanksgiving. It was almost $40 for chicken tenders, bites, jalepeno poppers and wings. We didn't get the jalepeno poppers or wings and they weren't allowing folks to go inside. their in store number also wasn't being answered. This place has got to rank in the top 3 worst service I've ever received. 35 minute wait with only 3 vehicles served. Oh, and during this 35 minute wait, we observed 2 employees making sure to take their cigarette breaks while a line of a dozen cars waited. When I reached the window, I asked what the problem was and the employee said "we're really busy!" Then added, "and we only have 3 people working!" Which might have flown...except for the fact that when we received our 2 meal combos, everything was cold, including the potato cakes which are NEVER made ahead of time. Think about that for a minute. If the food was cold, the kitchen was clearly (more than) keeping up with the orders. If the kitchen was behind, although the food prep would be slow, the ace at the window would be waiting for every order, and the food would be hot when served. No apology, no thank you, nada. Classic sandwiches were not warm and the curly fries were also cold. Bathrooms were not clean should have left but we're on a timeline. Restaurant should be closed and do a thorough cleaning of facility and probably equipment. read more

Always love their food. Their Roast beef and cheddar classic is so delicious with its warm cheese and great roast beef flavor. Right now they have a beef or turkey greek gyro w American styletziki sauce. The beef is great. I'm not too fond of the turkey one myself. They have a great Jamocha or Orange Cream shake that are great and the warm triple chocolate cookie and salted caramel cookies are totally fab! Love a warm cookie any day of the week. Can't hardly stop at Arby's without getting at least one cookie. The prices aren't cheap but neither are they really all that expensive either and they do have a value menu w great tasting food too so it makes a good place to stop when cheap get-by food isn't good enoughand you want a real meal. Never again, Staff reminded me of my years supervising federal inmates, as evident by visible jailhouse tats, liberally trashy dress code, disrespectful language toward the manager, distain for company mask policy and the sweet elderly trainee working the register, obviously wasn't ready to handle a lunch rush and her 20 yr sobriety at the same time. And then a beep from the register and shouting from the back that the register is about to go down, confusion breaks out but my card is in the register, what wise hacker in the back now has my PPI. No time to read my order back before yanking my card out of the machine to then watch these headless chickens. I look at my receipt to discover she'd overcharged me, now I'm suspicious and annoyed they can't open the register or credit my account, $5? Whatever, I'll live to write about it and check my account later for fraud. I guess the blond manager, no name tag to be sure, apologizes according to company policy and offered what she could but there is no fixing failed leadership without direct supervision and firings. Texas is a right to fire state and there are plenty of unemployed military veterans with the leadership skills to follow the company letter without question or remorse. No, I don't want you to fix my problem, just fix THE problem. This is a tourist fraud trap, praying on those that won't return or complain, who're on their way north or south for a better meal. Yes I'm a local and this was the second same experience with a different crew. Arby's should demand better if they're forced to pay $15hr. Came in with my wife today ordered the half pound French dip and the meat was like chewing rubber... The meat was way to thick... I was complaining to my wife and one the workers heard me complaining asked if everything was ok I said "no this sandwich is like eating rubber the meat is to thick, it's supposed to be cut a lot thinner" her response was "oh I'll make a note of that for later" read more

I truly hate leaving negative reviews but I feel I must, in this case; I've finally had it with the, Decatur, TX Arby's. I have NEVER had my order come out correctly. I just got back from Arby's and the order is not right. I wanted to use the newest coupon (2 reg RB Sandwiches for $4) I told the kid on the speaker I wanted two of the 2 for 4, orders for a total of 4 sandwiches. Then I ordered 3 more regular -add Swiss- for a total of 7. I told him "That will be 7 sandwiches, right?" and his snarky replay was "Yeah, yeah, What ever". I had, 5 total, when I got home. This is a good arby's It's pretty busy most of the time. It's a newer location and a nice edition to the Decatur restaurant landscape. They have awesome curly fries, and diet mountain dew. The drive through experience could be improved, but overall it's a great experience. read more

Decided to try the beef cheddar and bacon special. Ordered $19 worth of food including the $6 special just mentioned. Drive 10 miles home to find only one b,c&b, not the 2 I paid for. It had almost no cheese or bacon, nothing like their advertised pics. Surprise. To far to drive back, so call to inform them. Omg!!! I have never been so amazed!!!! This is the first time I've told someone that I have an allergy and they actually wiped everything down and put on fresh gloves before making my food!!!! And I have to give props to the employees! My sandwich was amazing and that was the fastest I have ever gotten my food!!! I understand why this place only has a one star rating. Got food to go, and my order was completely messed up and missing half the order. Very frustrating when driving a truck and trailer as I can't just go back and have it fixed. This fast food is way too expensive to begin with, let alone when we didn't get even half of our food. Usually Arbys is reliable... But after this, I think we'll pick differently while out on the road. read more
