Why does it show they are open 24 hours Friday and Saturday but are not open when we go thru at 1:45am Friday night. It's been like that for the last 2 months. People are there, we go in the drive thru and they tell us they are closed. read more

I was hesitant to leave a review because I know sometimes things happen BUT this is the 2nd time in the last couple of months that I have ordered a Clucker chicken sandwich only to be disappointed and not have a meal. The breakfast from here is great the times I've had it. But after getting a fantastic Clucker the first time to now never again buying it. This time was nothing but extremely hard batter pieces leaving the chicken dried out to the point of not being able to chew it. The curly fries were just pieces left over, appears they were scraped up out of the fry bin and put in the bag. The churros which are usually to "die" for had been cooked too long in old grease. Now I don't know what has happened to being able to talk to a manager but now you can't call and get someone to talk to, it just goes to voicemail where you are lucky if you get a return call. So all I'm saying is you might get something good from here BUT DON'T TRY THE CLUCKER AND ASK FOR FRESH FRIES! I was out over $14 w/o a meal to eat. read more

i thought jack in A Box was actually supposed to be 24/7 on Fridays and Saturdays. But tonight wasn't it, even though it's a Friday-Saturday time frame. It was like, 2:50am (coming into Saturday) here it says it's open until 4am, and on the door says drive thru is open 24/7. Definitely was not the case tonight. Instead of talking through the intercom. Yelled at from the back door " we ain't open yet" either fix it on the door and online or just be open like your supposed to. it was rude and misleading. read more

This place cannot get your right when you are the only one there. They messed up my order and I had to drive back to get my order fixed. The people are really nice but come on. The food was good. If you eat there, check your order before you leave. Open everything to make sure it is right. read more

I went through here because I wanted tacos. They were soggy. Were not hot in the middle. The smell coming from the window grossed my daughter out so she would not drink her Dr.Pepper. I only ate one of the tacos and ended up sick tonight. Never thought I could ever get sick from a jack in the Box taco but if you go to this location you can. read more

The food I received had been refried. As in it had been cooked and then got cold, so to reheat it instead of making fresh they tossed it in the fryers again to heat it back up which turned tacos and fries dark brown and incredibly greasy. I stopped and took food back inside. This place was filthy. Run down. Trash everywhere. And employees just standing around. I took food back to counter and demanded a refund. The person behind the counter acted ( or not ) like they didn't speak English. I finally had a person come up to me and told me that they didn't do refunds. It wasn't until I got corporate on the phone that they decided to refund my money. Not one person apologized for the situation and all the while this was happening the so called manager was hiding in the back. This place needs to be shut down. Terrible experience! The lady behind the counter could barely speak English, and when she called the manager over, they sat there speaking nothing but Spanish back and forth to each other. She could barely understand my order! After taking 5 minutes to get my order straight, I had to wait another 5 minutes to get change. While they were getting my change, No one saw fit to open another register for the LINE of customers forming behind me, so they wound up loosing a LOT of business at lunch time. I was in Decatur, Texas for surgery. I'd never had Jack in the Box before, so I decided to try one of the tacos. It was the greasiest thing I've ever tried to eat and smothered in cheese sauce. It was good! My husband got the bacon cheeseburger and said it was pretty good. Nothing special, but good. The curly fries are similar to Arby's. The service was fast and the employees were nice enough. The restaurant seemed clean. There was a long line, so I'm guessing it's pretty popular. All in all, I would try it again. read more

I love Jack in the box and often swing by for a couple tacos. Tonight I go through, grabbed a nacho monster taco, and a bacon ranch monster taco. I had no one in line ahead of me and had to wait 7 minutes after I paid before I got my food. Not usually a big deal, but the manager was standing next to the register right before I got my food yelling that they were not going to re-make it repeatedly. I had a feeling she was talking about my food. I get my food, my nacho monster taco was fine, my second taco was a regular taco that comes with the two taco deal. It was super cold and not great. So frustrating, especially after a long day. With the price of a monster taco, the least they could have done was just make another one. After that much time waiting, I would have had no problem pulling over and waiting a little longer. read more

I have been going to this Jack in the box on and off for a few years basically when I crave a sourdough sandwich or some tacos. Finally got sick from it so bad it's review time. Ive been inside a few times but mostly go through the drive thru. Always takes forever to get food even for fast food standards. If there is more than one person in line it will take 10+ min and they always send someone up to the front of the building to wait. Seems like there is maximum 3 people there at a time. Food is always lukewarm. And is made that way, I know this because the cheese is never melted. I stopped getting tacos from here just for health reasons, the lettuce is always soggy and brown and the meat lukewarm dripping with grease. I know JITB is capable of higher standards because I've been to several others that have much better food. Not sure why Decatur can't step it up with some more staff, higher standards and some quality control but I will not be eating here again. read more

My family was passing through and we stopped here for supper. No body was in the line. And we still stood there while the cashier was in the back doing nothing. She took our order and it took about 15 minutes to get our food. The curly fries were very dry and cold. My burger was warm but not to warm. The taco was so greasy and hardly any meat on it. The kids chicken nuggets were very brown and hard they could even eat them. I seriously think the manager/owner should look into the staff they have hired there. And the area around the bathroom and kitchen smelled heavily of marijuana. read more

The employees are awesome. I only ever go through the drive thru but they are always friendly and give me an accurate order. Only downside is the drive thru window is broken and its annoying to watch them have to deal with it but that's the owners fault. read more

Went through the drive through at 11:56pm Friday night with only 1 car ahead of me. The lady taking orders asked me to wait so if course I said no problem and waited. Approx. 12:01, she gets back on the mic and says the car ahead of me will be the last order and they are closing. I just wanted a drink and wouldn't have had any issues with them closing had they not made me wait just to state that. Won't go back to this location. If I could give this negative stars I would. By far the WORST fast food establishment I've ever been to. If you're in a hurry, good luck. Be prepared to wait up to 45 minutes for your food. The last and final time I went I went through the drive thru. Waited for forever at the window and when they finally decided to come to the window they told me my food wasn't ready and to pull around front. Waiting 10 minutes I noticed the car behind me had the same issue. I also noticed that there were people waiting inside with no food. I decided to walk in and investigate because who wants to wait on fast food late at night after a long day at work? As I walk in I almost slip and fall from the greasy floor. I have to position my hand on the banister so I don't slip and break my neck. Once I get to the counter they realized they "forgot" to bring me my food. I go back to my car and see that they messed up my order. I go back in and tell them and they "correct" their mistake. I walk back to the car and see that they still didn't get my order right and that she had overcharged me. At this point I had already been there an hour and I had given up. Food was so bad that I thought about catching an alley cat and eating it to get the bad taste out of my mouth.. This place seriously needs to get examined by the health inspector because I am positive it isn't meeting standards!! read more

Worst experience. Walked in and ordered food after a long day of driving. Got cups for soda machine. It's out of ice and several choices. Look around for a clean table and found none. Cleaned one ourself. Then we listened to an employee talking ill about other employees in a yelling sort of way from our table. A nice older lady came by to check on us and I mentioned how the food was extremely dark. Just odd. She apologized and stated it was due to changing our grease trap. I then mentioned overhearing the other employee almost yelling and speaking ill about cashiers and she stated that was the manager. As a Manager myself I found this almost insulting with his behavior and hope the owners of this establishment take a closer look at his management skills. Best part was we walk out to our car and the manager was leaning on our car smoking a cig and speaking to another employee on how awful his employees were. When I commented on how awful the food and cleanliness was at his establishment he went on to blame his employees and how he had 20 years experience in past food. I do not believe any of that was in customer service though. Just a thought. Why not go inside and clean your dining area instead of standing outside bashing your employees. Wow. read more
