I usually LOVE CANES CHICKEN! Since it opened in Denton it has been my favorite fast food and my go to, I've been out of town for 2 months. No Canes where I was at in upstate NY. So of course I wanted to get some right away. WHAT DID YOU TO THE CHICKEN BATTER? It's different now. It's bland and even the color is different of cooked chicken! It tasted a lot more like chicken express than Canes! Not very good! Was it just this location in Denton, Texas? I hope Canes cares enough to respond to this review. Always fast service! The line can get long wrapping around the building but don't worry it moves fast! Right now the drive-thru and carry out is open. Food is always fresh and you'd think food would be soggy coming from styrofoam but not at Raising Canes. There is sorcery used to keep it crunchy until you get home. read more

I went to raising canes on 02/23/24 I made my order to go at the drive-through for the tailgate and I went to the window like they asked and when I get up there she told me the price was 4329 I paid that with my card then after I paid, she asked me the card and says you need to pull around front you're gonna have to wait for your food before they charge you they should ask you do you mind waiting so we can make the food for you give you the option they didn't give me that option so I pull around the front I wasn't too happy that they did this because I have a car for kids and when I pull in the front, the same girl that was working in the window in the cash register left her position came out there to my car and told me you need to pull in the parking lot and wait there for your food. I was in the spot that she told me to be at I said I come here where you told me to be at now you want me to go in the parking lot where I said just cancel ordering give my money back we walk in the door and she starts yelling over and over and over. I need a manager I need a manager I need a manager and then when the manager is 2 feet away from her she's yelling. I need a manager when she's looking right at him and they kept yelling. I need a manager to draw attention to me and embarrass me in front of the whole restaurant, which it did, she goes back to position at the window. The manager comes talk to me and I told him what was happening but right behind him is my food on the shelf the whole time all done so it was on when she came outside. I asked him when is my food gonna be ready if not, give me my money he turned around and he looks on the counter. When this place first opened we stopped in at the drive thru to try them out. I remembered that the portions were large and the tenders were thicker than at most places. I remembered that it had been pretty good, but not much else. We stopped by this weekend and decided to go inside this time. I was surprised by the décor, the brightness from the windows and the friendly faces. This is probably the only fast food place in 500 miles to have a disco ball! Well, I mean I don't know, but seriously how many places have a disco ball? My husband ordered a box combo which has 4 tenders, fries, toast and coleslaw with an upgraded large soda for $7.71, it was a 20 cent upcharge for the large drink. I ordered the sandwich combo with fries and a lemonade which was $6.69. Since they squeeze the lemonade fresh daily, the lemonade is 30 cents more than the other drinks and served behind the counter. I thought it was pretty weird that they kept calling back each item as we ordered it. It seemed like they should just let us finish the order and then call it back. Well! What do I know? They had that order done right as we finished getting our drinks and were looking for a place to sit. I was impressed with how fast it was. They call out 'Hot and fresh chicken for (your name)!' and it's not a lie! The toast is great, I really liked it last time. It's big and thick and has sesame seeds. Since my meal didn't come with it, I went back to the counter and ordered a piece on its own for 85 cents. The friendly cashier suggested buttered on both sides. I asked if that made it greasy and though he conceded it was a little greasier, he highly recommended it. Since it was no additional cost, I consented and he called back a BOB! Yeah, this is definitely the way to go. If you like toast with your chicken, you will love this. Though I enjoyed the sandwich, with 3 big tenders on there, it was difficult to hold it together. Just getting the tenders is definilty easier to eat, but I was able to appreciate the Cane sauce more by having the sandwich, so I'm glad I tried it. I see what everyone is talking about, more so than last time, that sauce is really good. I don't care for a lot of sauce normally so I probably barely dipped it when I tried it last time. This time I realized that stuff is great on everything- the bun, the tenders, the fries! The fries are thin crinkle cut fries and though not bad, I recommend ketchup or Cane sauce as they need a little bit of help. The lemonade tasted really good, it wasn't too sweet and it wasn't watered down. That's about the extent of my lemonade knowledge, I don't drink a lot of it, but I would get it again! The chicken is hot, juicy and a good portion. It's definitly better than KFC and the prices are reasonable to or cheaper than similar places. I ate about half my meal before I got full. My husband barely finished his and he was stuffed; he plans to get the 3 piece next time. He's got a big appetite and we were really hungry when we arrived so I was really pleased with the value we got for the price. I expect to leave full and they definitely delivered on that. While we were there the staff was extremely friendly and attentive. We were checked on multiple times and they removed some of our trash throughout the visit. I was offered a tray when my order was ready faster than expected and my hands were full. There were smiling faces everywhere! Between the good service, comfortable booths and the good food, I almost forgot I was at a fast food place! I was really impressed with this location and recomend you drop by and dine in. read more

Came to Texas to visit family and Tried out this location and was pleasantly surprised. Chicken is juicy, crispy and great taste. I like Crinkle cut fries and the Toast was not bad. Went to Raising Canes tonight for the first and last time. First let me say the service was great. Fast and pleasant. The problem was the food. I got combo #3. 3 tenders, fries, drink. I asked for ranch not knowing they didn't carry it. They should start because their signature sauce is terrible. Tastes like mayo and ketchup mixed. Oh well I will eat my tenders without it. The tenders were actually worse without the terrible sauce. Dry and completely without seasoning or flavor. The fries were limp and almost soggy. Again no salt or anything. Mushy. The best part of the box was the piece of bread it comes with and the Coke Zero. The rest went to my dog. She gave an excellent review. read more

I was so ready to go, but my husband insisted on staying. The heavy traffic was being directed and the line moved a bit faster than I expected. Even though the place was busy, our cashier was very friendly and polite. My issue was the food. The fries weren't fresh and the tenders were a bit on the dry side. Also the lemonade was sooo watered down. I understand that they were extremely busy, but this was so disappointing. The food is great, the service was friendly, BUT when I came in about 2:45 every single table was dirty. I work in the food industry so I understand that it is difficult to get to every table, especially after lunch. The thing that bothered me is that there was an employee doing everything else besides cleaning the lobby. I had to wipe off my own table, which I typically don't mind if I had the option of a clean table, but I did not have that option. Every table was crumbly and dirty.
