Now, hot sandwiches are wrapped in paper and then in foil. This method traps moisture, causing the bread--especially their delicious sourdough--to become soggy instead of crisp. It seems like this change was made to save money, but it really takes away from both the presentation and the quality of the sandwich. For a sandwich that costs $12.95, I would gladly pay a few extra cents for the original packaging if it meant keeping the bread fresh and crusty.

The menu is vast, but mostly limited to sandwiches, burgers, soups and salads. I was unsure what I wanted until I saw a grilled cheese sandwich option. I ordered that plus a chicken pot pie soup. Payment was easy and the food didn't take long to prepare. The only suggestion I have is to inform ppl who order grilled cheese is the default cheese used is American. I hate American cheese and would have been stuck with a sandwich I wouldn't have enjoyed if I'd not asked about cheese and made another selection. The food itself was amazing! The parking situation, however, deserves its own reality show. Spaces are limited, and getting in and out of the parking lot felt like I was participating in an advanced driving course. The establishment offers nice seating, but don't expect a formal dining experience. You place your order at the counter and then find your own seat. When we arrived, the place was packed with people ordering and eating. That's usually a good sign, and at that point I knew we had either found the jackpot or everyone in Columbia had the exact same cheesesteak craving.
