Some background information; I'm a college student and a military dependent. I went into Arby's today and had the nicest lady take my order. I walked in with coupons and I was a little embarrassed by it so I explained that I'm a broke college student. She was amazing. She then complimented me on going to school and put in the effort to make small talk by asking what I went to school for and such. I love it when people do that. I also had my wallet sitting out showing my dependent military ID. Most places don't accept the red military ID because most people think we are "just dependents" so I didn't bothering asking if there was a discount. I later looked at the receipt and saw this. What an amazing lady. I will now always love Arby's.

A Leap of Taste was one of the few spots open, and after seeing all the great reviews, we decided to give it a try. The ambiance is really cute and cozy -- lots of decor, lighting, and seating that makes it feel welcoming and comfortable. Service was also quick and friendly, which we appreciated. We ordered the Green Machine smoothie and a matcha, and both were really good and definitely a highlight of our visit. Where the experience fell a bit short for us was the food. While the presentation was great, the taste didn't quite match expectations. The breakfast tacos listed potatoes, but they ended up being more like tater tots, and the tortillas weren't warm -- my friend wasn't very fond of them. I ordered the #5 sandwich, which was described as being on jalapeño toast, but it came on regular toast instead, along with a pickle on the side. The sandwich itself was okay -- not bad, but something I could easily make at home. For the two drinks and two food items, we paid around $40, which felt a bit high considering the overall food experience. I can see why this place is well-loved by locals -- it fits the neighborhood vibe and likely appeals to the regular crowd -- but as visitors, the food didn't quite live up to the hype for us. Overall, it's a cute spot with great drinks, friendly service, and a cozy atmosphere. I'd probably come back for beverages, but I'd skip the food next time

Inside had matching brick and white benches and a table filled with fresh baked goods such as bread and focaccia. We ordered 2 Rancher's Ribeye Melt and made one of them a combo (beans and a drink). I'm not sure what was happening here but underwhelming is the word that best fits my experience here. I came with two friends and as each of us ordered, at least one thing per order was out of stock. That's not always something that a restaurant can help but this was more than inconvenient. We didn't go late in the day, typical lunch time. After everyone settling for second or third choice, what we got was pretty basic. Unmelted cheese on a grilled cheese, slightly incorrect order fulfillment, not enough to complain but enough to leave me wanting to get a second lunch after. They did have a super tasty chicken and rice soup and the staff though slightly overwhelmed/in training was very sweet and tried to be helpful. Willing to give a second try down the line but 3/5 is all I can give, maybe I just got them on an off day. For taste framing: I give subway a 2/5 Jersey Mikes solid 4/5 Pen Station east coast subs: 5/5
