The owner was super helpful with descriptions and I decided to go with the double smash burger. My partner got the roast beef dip sandwich and we shared a large order of fries. When I tell you the fries were perfect I am not exaggerating at all. The right amount of crisp on the outside mixed with the seasoning and salt made these a staple for every meal here. The service was very friendly and she brought the food right out to the car (no roller skates though, bummer. LOL). I like that they are expanding their menu with more vegetarian options, and treats for dogs (it is right across the street from the dog park), and that they are very easy with substitutions. We will definitely be back. Note: 4/5 stars for variety of selections. They are still improving the menu so hope to make it 5 stars soon. As my little one is an avid fan of good burgers, I knew it made more sense to order something here for him than attempt to feed him anything else. So I hopped on over, quickly glanced through their menu, ordered and joined the line of cars waiting. It took about 15 minutes, which isn't much of a wait considering all the other orders they were fulfilling at the same time. Heard my name, picked my order up, set it up for my little boy, and smiled as he sat there *quietly* devouring the burger and all the fries. Being the REALLY picky eater that he is, it only meant that the burger was prepared well. It was only when I tried to post a photo and review that I realized they didn't have a business page on Yelp. Some digging on the internet later, I found out they were a sister establishment to the local restaurant David's Breakfast and Steakhouse. Hopefully this review puts them on the map for folks like me visiting or passing through as I'm sure (based on the line with Oregon plates) that locals already know them well.

She came back, saying the waitress was on the phone and it would take a few minutes. This experience is already not going well. After finding out the waitress was busy, I had to ask "when would we be able to put an order in? Because we're on a time crunch" and another available waitress comes to take our order. Food was decent! I got the St. Louis ribs and okra and wife ordered a burger. The fries were seasoned so well and the cook on the okra was great!! But the ribs on the other hand were very mediocre. The "spicy" bbq sauce wasn't all that spicy, just a tiny kick. The food was not at all the problem, it was the weird service. The place does feel older but it was decently clean. During the meal, I never saw the waitress that was on the phone, I wondered how long we would've had to wait just to put in an order if I didn't ask. Scale of 1-5, food was a 3.5 and service was a 2.5. We had felt that if they could, they would've just had us wait around on their time for us to get service.
