We have gone in several times to place orders to go. The franchise is pretty consistent with other…read morelocations. This location in Ottawa does not get walk in traffic. The dining room is never crowded. However it is hard to hear the staff making the sandwiches. Each time I've walked in the person is wearing an earbud- and having active conversations while making the sandwiches. Not usually an issue at a restaurant but while they make your sandwich you are supposed to be sharing details of what you do/do not want on your sub sandwich. So it felt like I needed to be more assertive when ordering. Did they hear I wanted no onions? I guess not, I can pick them off. Not a big deal. However it wasn't a smooth experience. If you have allergies- I personally wouldn't recommend. However, the location inside is clean. Restrooms had out of order signs in them... not so good for a dine in experience. Overall, if I need a sub, I'll wait until I am in Gardner, Olathe, or OP.

The food is normal Subway food, and it's good, BUT no matter who makes the sandwiches at this…read moreparticular Subway, they don't stuff the goodies inside the sandwich when it's folded right before putting it in the bag. It's a real pain in the rear when you go to eat it. Stuff falls out, etc. They need to work on this. However, I will say that they are very friendly and their tea is super cold, which is nice, since brewed tea is often hot and requires a ton of ice.

OMG. This is a small town tavern serving so pretty good BBQ. I'd heard about it from a friend and…read moresaid their pork ribs are outstanding and they run out. So for me I'm not a rib person I savored their other meats. I had the brisket and polish sausage. I found it interesting how they sliced it (really thin) but for me I got a good taste of the flavor I felt and don't worry they didn't skip on the portions. I got the regular 2 meat sandwich with no bread. They have their own sauce which has a great taste as well. I tried their spicy pickles and I did enjoy it. I would like to see them take their own sauce as I enjoyed the clover and add some kick to it lol. The lady who waited on me was extremely friendly and knew I was not from there and explained everything. It is a small town tavern in the middle of the town Williamsburg nice peaceful and you feel at home. They were not busy when I got there but by the time I left I felt it was standing room only. NOTE!!!!!!!! They are CASH orCHECK only so be prepared. It's worth it just about 20 minutes south of KC

I wouldn't say G&M is divey, but divey adjacent. Beers are cheap, and the food is delicious. I ordered a slab of ribs, so I would have some to take home. They had a great bark, delicious flavor, and were literally fall off the bone. They didn't require sauce, which is good, as the only sauce at G&M's was a bit sweet for my taste. Don't pass up the Jalapeño Pickles! I had the potato salad and beans, both I thought leaned sweet as well, however, the Jalapeño Pickles may have thrown off my taste buds. Pay attention on your way back to the highway, because if you stay on the main road, you will be headed in the opposite direction.

As a general rule, I stay away from crowded areas like the Plaza and Westport, but I really wanted…read moreto try this place out. As luck would have it, I had to run an errand near the area and my decision was made. First off, the entrance isn't where you'd think it would be. The order window was closed and I noticed people going up to the deck to get in, so up I headed. The place was actually spacious and comfortable, it has a Caribbean vibe to it. After much consternation, I figured I'd make it tough on them and opted for the Reuben. As some somebody who has had many Reubens at the place where they were invented, Omaha's Blackstone Hotel, I can be a tough judge. This is definitely the best place to get one in KC, so I know that I'll be back for more. I even liked the bread that they used, it set it apart from other sammiches. And the service was great, so I'll be back.

The wait even too so long I got a extra cookie to help with the longer times. It was awesome! Entering the space on weekday is preferable for those who do not want to have a lot of noise when eating dinner. On saturday during peak lunch the spot can get pretty busy but somehow never packed. They even have a fun merch corner if you fee like reppin som delicious dough. Will return soon if not atleast a couple times before the end of the summer.
