Today I went to Bob Evan's for brunch with my two grandchildren and son. They are so nice and welcoming and handed the kids menus with crayons. We ordered two black coffees and two apple juices for the boys. I had the western omelet with home fries and a piece of delicious banana bread with butter. One grandchild had the kid's breakfast and the other a regular adult one. The kids just love it there. Our waitress was so sweet and brought them refills of apple juice and refilled our coffee. I really enjoy the friendly warm atmosphere at Bob Evan's and the delicious food that is always freshly prepared! read more

About a year ago I legitimately found a cockroach cooked into my pancake. I showed The manager and they offered me a 5$ meal voucher.

Everything was amazing. All staff is exceptionally friendly and really seem to be a family. Never disappointed in this place.

On Thanksgiving Day I placed an online order for two Premium Celebration Platters. Thirty minutes later my order was ready. The restaurant was very busy! Lots of people waiting to be seated and a constant flow of carryout orders being picked up. The platters were tasty and huge! I highly recommend this meal and will order it again. read more

Our server was good but I think she forgot to put our order in & we waited a good 45 minutes after ordering, eggs weren't as I ordered them & the blueberry pancakes had no taste, bacon was good & the coffee was good. This isn't our first breakfast choice. read more

I get delivery from here quite often for breakfast and brunch and it's usually a hit and sometimes a miss, hence the 3 stars...if I could give it 3.7 I would. My favorite item to order is the Homestead Farmer breakfast that comes with choice of meat, choice of eggs, hashbrowns or breakfast potatoes and their biscuits and gravy which is my absolute favorite item from Bob Evan's. The gravy is the best, tried it when I was in my young teens and 13 years later I'm still loving it, haha! I typically go for their bacon for my meat choice and I love adding cheddar cheese to my scrambled eggs as well as ordering the hashbrowns loaded which comes with bacon, cheese, sour cream and chives...when everything is made well, it's really delicious. My only complaints are that the bacon can sometimes taste very old, as if it was cooked the night before and maybe reheated. Twice the sausage gravy has tasted like a completely different gravy...maybe one of the cooks adds more seasonings or changes the gravy around but it's not good and tastes almost rancid and when I've received it like that. The biscuits one time were as hard as a rock and my eggs have often been like literal rubber...couldn't even cut them with a knife on this last order and the geese was so weirdly oily...never had that issue before. Also the loaded hashbrowns seem to mean something different to each person making the order...I always receive the sour cream and chives but the cheese and bacon is hit or miss if I receive that or not on the hashbrowns. Like I said, when cooked and made correctly the food is very good and worth the price but when it's a miss...it's definitely a big miss. read more

It's no wonder restaurants like these have a hard time staying around. It's should have been red flags when I ate 25% of my meal and was given the bill, and directed to the front counter. Food was lukewarm at best. Sausage patties burnt and really the worst was it looked like a 3 year old plated it. Great breakfast! I haven't been to a Bob Evans in years. They don't have many where I used to live. I ordered the farmers breakfast with eggs, bacon, hash browns, biscuits and gravy. Before the pandemic I did go in person to Bob Evans. I enjoyed the rolls and biscuits. I tried the chicken fried steak & pot roast....They both tasted very good...But now they have downsized the portions & raised prices. How can I tell?!!! They have kept the same size delivery boxes. And any person who has common sense and a great depth of field like I do can just tell by looking at them. Also for the side dishes they are only filling up the containers up to maybe halfway...This especially includes the macaroni and cheese & the coleslaw. ... I also noticed when I order the extra biscuits that they're charging a dollar for each and every biscuit it seems. I will say the taste and quality of food is still good, but the portions and the prices have gotten much higher. read more

I go to this store frequently for breakfast on Sunday morning. We were told this morning there would be a 45 minute wait. So we waited It was busy but we expected that. I order the same breakfast every week. At first it was perfect. Now it is lukewarm and almost cold. The plate is barely warm to the touch. So today, I spoke to the host/cashier. He asked me if I was under the air conditioner?????? I told him this has been happening consistently. He suggested I come on days when they are not so busy and that maybe the plate did not get delivered fast enough. I should have asked to speak to a manager, because this is an ongoing problem. The food is good and the service is usually very good. Also, I might add I was a server for Bob Evans for 7 years, and this is not the way it should be. This should be a concern for management but I ha w noticed a manager while I have been there. read more

Best southern food ive ever tasted, my mother's father's uncle-brother made a biscuit and gravy to die for and since he passed I thought I would never eat a good biscuit and gravy again WELL I WAS WRONG! Great bang for your buck! We loved our meals and it's was less than $25. Our server was really nice and the restaurant was clean and quiet.

We come here almost once a week. Today we had Randall for our server. Who I would like to point out is the best server Bob Evans has. He is also one of the best I have had at any restaurant. We took a long break from this Bob Evans. Family visiting and the Del Prado location closing influenced our return. We were happy to see there were new faces here. Staffing at a restaurant is an important factor and, right now, things seems to be good - really, really, good, at this location. A big factor in how we felt during our initial and follow-up visit this week was our server, Bobby Joe. She's a rock star and we adore her. She knows her job and does it professionally and efficiently. At the same time, she's friendly without being intrusive and puts forth an open, positive vibe. This location used to be amazing. Great food, good quality and worth the money. Now... absolutely horrible! Past 2 times my order was missing items ( more than one, I might add) the food that I did receive was inedible. I spent over $50 and couldn't even eat it! Chicken was hard and cold, supposed to be hand breaded and looked like brown paper wrapped around it. Coleslaw was runny and bitter. My moms dinner had only one piece of fish and was greasy and cold. Never received the fries or dinner rolls, or the slices of pies that we paid extra for! Very disappointed, it's too bad such a good place has gone so far down hill. I ordered 2 weeks in advance for Thanksgiving but that meant nothing, as when I arrived to pick up my food it was no where near ready. I waited for almost an hour in line just to give my name to collect my order, then another 15 minutes before I was finally given my order. Got all the way home and my pumpkin pie was missing from the order. I had to get back in my car to go back to the restaurant to pick up my pie. Had to stand in line again to just get the pie. After eating the food, I have to say was ok, nothing I would give a good review on either. Absolutely delicious comfort food. We had 6 of us eating and everyone loved what they had. French toast, double roasted roast beef sandwich, grilled chicken breast dinner, biscuits and gravy, wake with strawberries, honey chicken with a biscuit and deep dish chicken noodle. I can't even give this location a single star. I placed a catering order that was a half hour late! They kept changing the story about when it would be ready and why it wasn't. Wasn't too pleased today at dinner time. My friend ordered a side of biscuits & gravy and the gravy was cold, they brought another one and it was cold also. So they took the bowl of gravy and microwaved it, I thought that was wrong to do, it came to the table hot and you couldn't even grab the bowl because it was so hot. Manager said that is what they do to make sure the customers get it hot. He also said the temperature in the other 2 bowls were at the temperature it should be, I disagree. I really like Bob Evans I love their breakfast and burgers here the food is good the service is attentive and prompt ,most the time but my only concern would be ( and this is the second time encountering this at this location) Is that they seem to be very slow as far as cleaning like for instance the carpeting in the restaurant was very dirty And was in desperate need of vacuuming as well as there were A few tables left with plates of food and it took a while for the waitress to come and pick up. I don't like to bash businesses and I know it's a chain restaurant but I feel that a clean presentable Atmosphere is a first impression and going to a restaurant and walking in and seeing dirty floors and tables is a bad first impression and might intimidate some people. I came in tonight to eat with my family. It was a horrible experience. The food was Luke warm on most of our dishes, 3 items were so cold my family couldn't eat it, we returned it.
