First review y'all. Please read on…read more Pulled up there amid a 10-hour drive. It was closed. But an older gentleman out front said they were doing renovations. He was apologetic. Directed us to the other Subway in town about 5 minutes away. So we drove over. When we got inside to place our order, the employees behind the counter informed us our meals were "on the house," courtesy of the owner (the older gentleman from above) who apparently called over to this second store. The owner went out of his way for us and he's now gained a customer for life - at either of his two locations.

We came in hungry with the family and were trying to use the app because there was a July 30 promotion for the Wicked Wings. Unfortunately, the promotion wasn't showing up in their system, even though everything on the app was done correctly. After patiently watching me go through the app several times, Janelle realized it appeared to be a corporate system issue and graciously honored the promotion anyway. That's the kind of customer service you don't forget. We also ordered an 8-piece family meal, but they had just been hit with a rush and were temporarily waiting on fresh chicken. They asked us to wait the 18-minute cook time, While we waited, Janelle offered us complimentary drinks. Considering it was 99 degrees outside and we were taking our food to go, that thoughtful gesture was greatly appreciated. The restaurant itself was spotless. The dining room was clean and organized, the drink station was fully stocked and well maintained, and the restrooms were clean and fully supplied. And let's not forget the sweet tea--it was absolutely delicious! The food came out fresh, hot, and worth every minute of the wait. Golden Chick, Janelle is a keeper! Employees like her are the reason customers come back. If you're ever passing through Sweetwater, I highly recommend stopping at this location.
