I have been here twice for gum grafting with Dr. Donna Klauser. 3 teeth the first time and 2 the second time. I was really nervous the first time, not knowing what to expect. My gums had been receding for a long time. Dr. Klauser put me at ease. She was very professional and explained everything she was going to do. During the procedure I felt zero pain. Recovery was painless, just some soreness and little swollen, which is expected. I healed quickly and my gums were perfect! This was my second time getting getting my gum Graft with Dr. Klauser. The first time I did my bottom right side and now I'm back for my top right side. The recovery process after the first time was so smooth and painless that this 2nd time I was not nervous at all and was even lowkey kinda exicited. Dr. Klauser skill is flawless, both times healed perfectly. She is definitely the person you want for surgery. On top of that her staff is very friendly and your schedule time is your time. I have went to other offices and they made you feel like they have somewhere else to be or other Patients to tend to. But the consultation did not feel rushed at all. She took the time to explain everything and I mean everything. Both times the recovery was painless and healed perfectly. Worst part is just being on a soft food diet and no exercise for 2 weeks. Dr. Klauser is a gem - she doesn't want you to waste unnecessary money, She will do her best to strengthen your gum and solve your periodontal problems. I came because my teeth became loose during my orthodontic treatment. She didn't rush to bone grafting, but rather she arranged months of resting and proper cleaning to let my bone heal on itself. She solves problem from root in a natural way. Unlike other busy doctors, she replies each of my question (I got so many questions once in a while) with great patience and care, making me much more knowledgeable and confident about my teeth. She is so approachable that I can text her my questions and she will always get back to me promptly. The COVID is putting dental visits in difficulty but her place is clean and neat enough. And one should be aware that if you wear masks properly (put it on all the time before and after you open your mouth for treatment/examination; if you want to talk to the doc/assistants you may have it on as well so you can limit the chance to expose ur mouth in the air) you are safe enough. I am one of those people who love to go to the dentist because I value a great smile. I got referred to Dr. Klauser, and I have to admit, even I was nervous. I had never gotten a bone graft and it sounded painful and scary. At the office, all my fears were put to rest. I hadn't been to the dentist in over 15 years, and I was in danger of loosing my front lower tooth. My dentist determined that I would need to have a gum ablasion to save my tooth, and referred me to Dr. Donna Klauser. Dr. Klauser's credentials are extremely impressive, she is board certified in perio-dontic care, and is on the faculty at the UCLA Dental School. I was immediately impressed with her extensive knowledge and her willingness to answer all of my questions. Dr. Klauser explained the procedure to me, and I knew she would be the only one I would do this procedure. Dr. Klauser took tissue from my lower gum tissue, and from the roof of my mouth. The surgery took two hours, and I was given the "laughing gas," and Dr. Klauser was very methodical and cautious with getting me numb properly. Dr. Klauser is truly a skilled surgeon, but artist as well, she insists on perfection, lucky for my tooth. I had stitches after the procedure, and my pain was extremely manageable. The gum tissue is completely growing over my lower front tooth root that had been exposed. I wouldn't have trusted anyone else but Dr. Klauser to perform this procedure on me. I used to loathe dentists, and dental specialists, but no longer. Dr. Klauser is so friendly, and professional. Dr. Klauser's staff is also first class. The ladies in the office keep things moving along, and I never had to wait more than 5 minutes to see Dr. K. The whole organization is first class, and so professional. My dentist said that I had gum disease and needed to see a periodontist. I was referred to Dr. Klauser by a good friend of my boyfriend. She is fantastic! I had visited a periodontist a few years ago, a young man who was more interested in his ski trip than anything else. (LIke his patients.) In contrast, Dr. Klauser charted my whole mouth and the gum loss on each tooth. She explained what the loss on various teeth meant. She is very professional, yet warm. I felt in good hands, confident that I was receiving excellent care. I have had scaling and root planing and a very seamless extraction done. Will have an implant in the future. My insurance is HMO and didn't cover the treatment, but there is CareCredit that you can apply for. what can be said about this wonderful periodontist??? not enough that is for sure!! my daughter is her patient and she is 15 and in need of gum graphs. she was hesitant at first, when we got to the office and met dr. klauser she was so happy and excited to know that this wonderful dr., lady, mother would be taking care of her, she no longer was afraid. surgery day came and she had brought in the wonderful dr. quin as her anesthesiologist. they allowed me to be in the room with her until she was really sleepy, and my daughter was smiling as she went to sleep and woke up the same way. both dr. k and dr.q helped us out to the car and were fabulous. they called later that day to make sure she was doing good and if we had any questions. we had a follow up to remove the stitches and my daughter was upset that she would no longer be seeing her!! now that is wonderful doctoring!! thank you to you dr k!!! read more
