In fact, everytime I capture a wedding in Redwoods NP, I come to this spot. The rooms definitely feel older, but are so cozy and have everything you need. The property is beautiful and surprisingly peaceful for being in town. The hot tubs and sauna are probably the best part, second only to the unique setting and rich gardens. It's just up the street from Wildberries (a gourmet grocery store) and so easy to get to from any location in Arcata/Eureka/McKinleyville. Elly always makes renting the place so easy and I'm delighted to be able to stay there instead of renting a nondescript hotel room. So happy that this lovely cottage exists!
