She quite literally saved my brows after I had a bad experience elsewhere. The salon is fairly empty when they open up and the service is very quick if you're pressed for time. I went in and told the lady that I wanted a CLEAN UP service for my brows ... I told her I only wanted the bottom clean and not the top. A clean up is just only taking a couple of lost hairs off and keeping your original shape. So she said ok.... When she gave me the mirror after doing the first brow I immediately told her that's NOT what I asked for. She shaped my eyebrow and gave me an arch and took way too much hair off ! THAT IS NOT WHAT I ASKED FOR !! I asked for a simple clean up !! I kept telling her that and she kept on trying to convince me on what she did was a clean up ! No lady you shaped my brows and took to much hair off !! She then proceeded to tell me not to cause a scene when I was not yelling or getting loud ... I kept telling her over and over that's not what I asked for. So she then said I refuse to do your other brow and you can leave. Say less! I left and now here I am leaving this review ! Mind you, I had her do my eyebrows like 2 years ago and at that time I did ask for a small shape and not too much hair off and guess what she did... took too much hair off !! I have gone to her before and told her a clean up and she did actually do a clean up but this time she did the opposite what I asked ! I'm come here at least once a month & always get my brows done with Monica & she's great always leaves my eyebrows in great shape she takes her time with my eyebrows. Today I walk in & Monica wasn't there so I had my eyebrows done by the lady there I didn't get her name. I was token in pretty quickly since no one was there, she did my eyebrows in less than 3 minutes & left me so much hair still didn't even finish the job. This is the worst the first time I went the owner was very rude to me, but I decided to go a second time all I asked for was a clean up (my brows are full and thick) the owner gave me her trini and she completely messed up my eyebrows are two different shapes. The owner had to come in and fix what she had done but clearly didn't. To top it all off they blamed me saying if I didn't want my eyebrows that thin I should have said so. Hello! I just wanted to share my experience with this salon because of how happy I left with my new eyebrows. I've been coming here for a while and theres no other salon that can compare to the care, trust, and comfort these ladies give to their clients. Specifically Sara. This salon is closed on Sundays and Mondays and I was in need of a thread so I visited another salon close by. I regretted it so much! I liked the shape however I feel like unlike my former regular lady she was more rough and not as gentle. I heard great things about Monica seat No.2. The women at this place work very fast, also they do good work. You just have to tell the ladies how you want your eyebrows done because they'll just do it how they think it should look and I learned this the hard way when my eyebrows were done straight across with no arch at all. I use to come here regularly with Ashi, but she stopped working there. I would go there only and because I was too lazy to look for another good eyebrow artist. She was rude most of the time, but I liked the way she did my eyebrows. :/ win/lose So now that she's no longer there I thought I'd try someone else. I tried 2 ladies. Big mistake! They both messed up my eyebrows horribly. The first girl which is station #3 made one my eyebrows too high and the girl in station #5 messed up my shape and made them thin. That leaves the new girl and the older lady that looks like she can't see. Hmm I've seen both their work and not impressed. I wouldn't take my chances here. They're always rude and honestly they don't do good eyebrows. Never have I said to myself "Oh that girl has nice eyebrows" in the contrary I've sometimes felt bad for how horrible some clients eyebrows looked. Pinky in chair #4 did my brows today and they look amazing. Very little pain she's so good. The cost was $9 but they charge an extra dollar if you use your debit card so bring cash. I've tried a lot of places in the area and now I will always come back here. I loved that she had me check the first brow before she did the other to make sure I was happy. Fast but precise and so little pain. She cleaned up the hairs left on my face, gave me a tissue for the minimal tearing I had and offered aloe, all without being asked.
