Asked the manicurist if he can get more detailed with my manicure as there was plenty of excess dry skin around my cuticle, didn't even clean under my nails, or file them properly. They charge 15 dollars extra for chrome powder. 15 dollars to just barely rub powder on gel nails. They don't disclose their prices, they don't give you a receipt. The man there talks over you and will tell YOU that you picked the color while you are actively telling him you don't like it. " but that what you picked!" It's the same number just different brand. My daughter ended up with hot pick nails and thick gel ( it's probably old) on her toes. They don't speak English well so it's easy to blame misinformation and miscommunication on the language barrier. They act as if they don't know what you mean or don't understand you until it's time to pay and they charge you 70+ dollars for a gel manicure and pedicure. They definitely overcharge and take advantage of certain customers. We wanted to try this place out, and regret it immediately. They lack customer service, it's non existent. The gentleman who works there didn't properly file or remover the old gel until he was told to do so. I don't know how the man that works there has his license.. but it needs to be renewed or revoked. Total lack of cleanliness! Our search for a decent nail salon in Fontana continues. Where do I start???? Walked in, wasn't busy, just needed a GelX soak off. Older male took me in and was seated right away. He wanted to remove my previous nails with an acrylic nail which I politely declined. He gave me a huuuuuuggeee sigh and eyerolls. Moved on, all was alright. He then proceeded to attempt to remove my nails with an acrylic which i reminded him i did not wish to remove this way to which he raised his voice at me saying I KNOW I KNOW I KNOW. He soaked my nails off with an attitude and STILL attempted to remove with the acrylic nail! I was getting pretty upset by this point and just wanted to leave. He didn't ask me what shape i wanted my nails and he just decided to square them away. I paid and left. I appreciate their perfectionism and kindness. I have no issues with my nails between appts., they stay perfect. I have a gel manicure and regular pedicure; they do a great job every time. I make appts. so I typically don't wait long. I have been going to Amy (owner) for over 10 years. She is so good at what she does that when she left my previous nail shop to start her own business, I tracked her down and travel15 miles to be able to keep her. Prices are average, they always ask before they do anything and let you know the price so you can make a decision. Since going to the Fontana store, I've booked with Mindy, Tam, and Lana. I have been going to Diamond Nails since they open and Amy has always accomodated me and my girls. And carol has been doing my nails for a long time and never have i had a problem or Issue with how she does my nails or never have had an issue with Amy or Carol, It bother's me to see that people act like they were done wrong, at Jay G i was in the nail shop the day you where there, and it so didnt happen the way you posted. You didnt like how your nails came out the first time you got them done why didnt you say something then instead of leaving you should if had them fix then. ok so you came back to get them fixed when you sat at carol station you were indecisive on what you wanted, carol did the service you wanted and it was done at no charge, you got up from the chair looked at your nails and commented that your nails still didnt come out right, and was requesting your money back, at that time carol had taken a new customer you asked for the owner and carol answered that shes on the other side of the room and you asked her name and Carol told you her name you walked over and said who you were and began to say how you didnt like your nails how they came out it and then requested to get your money back. Amy said that they fixed your nails for free and couldnt give you your money back you then said that you werent happy and wanted your money back that its not right that you paid and didnt like the service. Amy said that you got service free that you couldnt get money back, you continued to request a refund of at least half of your money back. Amy walked over to her cash register took out $15 and gave it to you, you said something about the service and all Amy said is if you weren't happy with the service to go somewhere else, you started walking towards the door then made a comment you will for sure do a yelp review on there service and then you walked out, she never threw you out of her shop. Not Amy or Carol were never unprofessional with you. You got your nails redone for free and half of your money back. So if your gonna do a review make sure you speak truth. I went to get a pedicure asked for the spa 1 where you are suppose to get a sea salt scrub etc well the lady who did my pedicure didn't add soap to my water and started on my acrylic i got them done on my two big toes, as she was scrubbing my feel I asked why they didn't add soap to my water and she said they don't do that there like what who doesn't add soap, she cut my numerous times and kept putting alcohol which burned and I expressed this to her and she would go oh and start talking about me after she was done with my toes she simply added the monomer back into the same container which that should be thrown away that is very insanitary l. This was the worst experience of my life and I felt so disgusted I needed up going to another place where they took very good care of me and knew how to do a predicate and used soap and sanitized there tools. read more

Warning: I got a Staph infection from this place. I went here FOR THE 1st time for a Mani Pedi. Left with a full blown STAPH infection! I had to get my toe injected with lidocaine while the doctor drained the infection. Painful as ever could be. This place needs to autoclave and sterilize their tools. I will be reporting them to the BBB. I've done my nails my entire life this has never happened to me. I just hope that it doesn't happen to anyone else. read more
