The lady was aggressive with the waxing and it was by far the most painful experience I've ever had getting waxed. She didn't even remove all the hair and charged an extra $10 to do the butt strip which everywhere else comes with the standard Brazilian. I will not be returning. But Rimi assured me she'd do her best to make me look amazing. And boy, it was like night and day . She literally removed all the hair front and back. I was next waiting less than five minutes. I asked them to shape my eyebrows a bit slimmer. She positioned me to stretch your eyebrows so that she thread my eyebrows properly. She was done within ten minutes. Cost $9 an extra $1 charge of you use a credit card. She did a nice job, but other places put aloe on your skin to soothe your skin from the threading. Wish that she did that because within a few minutes my skin got irritated and red. Otherwise I would've given a higher rating

For the facial, I had on a bit of mascara (not waterproof) and it survived the apocalypse! Just kept getting rubbed around my face. Now the hair: I'm Black, I have curly hair, and I was not prepared for the tugging and pulling during the detangling. At one point a loose hair just stuck to my face and stayed there. We bonded. Then the nail scratching started. As a healthcare worker, I was internally screaming. But I stayed strong. They asked my partner (straight hair) if he wanted styling. Me? They just grabbed the blow dryer and went to town. I don't use heat! Walked in with lucious curls, walked out with a puff ball. No warning, no discussion, round brush chaos was my fate. Overall? I felt relaxed until that blow dryer came out. Then I was just overwhelmed with a side of big fluff. They were extremely sweet though! Might come back. Might not. 3/5 would recommend if you're brave, have straight hair, maybe some low hair expectations, and don't mind a little curtain peek-a-boo!

I booked a brow lamination appointment and told the technician before the service started that I…read moredid not want the underside of my brows waxed because I was trying to preserve new growth. The underside was waxed anyway. When I followed up, the owner explained that shaping is required with brow lamination and that avoiding the underside is not something they do because it does not meet their standards. My issue is that this was not explained to me before the service began. If my request could not be accommodated, I should have been told so I could decide whether to continue. I requested a refund, but it was denied because the service was completed and their policy says services are non-refundable. Overall, this was disappointing. For me, the issue was communication and feeling like a clear boundary I stated before the appointment was not honored.
