Club Mallard is easy to pass by - but for me I recognize it as a landmark of sorts. Right next door you can find a gas station with fair prices. They are not the cheapest in town but they aren't two dollars more per gallon like some random gas stations. A small discount is given if you pay cash. I always use credit and I get a small percentage cash back. I think its a toss up - do what makes you happy - and for me that is a convenient streamlined payment process. I've never had any issues with credit card theft. I usually do tap to pay at a Chevron and I think that is harder for Kriminals to tamper with. I think its always best to take a pump that is closest to the windows of the minimart too. I don't know much about the minimart - I never went in. I hear that is the only place gas stations really make profit. Sort of like selling drinks at restaurants.

I could not find another Yelp listing for it, so I'm putting my review here. Said and Otto have helped us many times with our vehicles. They are very busy, but always take the time to chat and understand what is going on with our cars, as well as give us sage advice on how to keep them running optimally. We had a problem with an unknown noise coming out of our Subaru, and they spent quite a bit of time driving it around and disassembling suspect areas. We couldn't pinpoint the issue, but Said laid out all the potential worst-case scenarios, none of which were terrible, putting us at ease. I don't recall that he charged us anything. Another time our Prius had a flat, just before Thanksgiving, and even though they had lots of cars to work on, they still squeezed us in and got it going again so we could make our holiday travel possible. All pricing is very reasonable, and as far as I can tell, below what most others would charge. They are honest, and try to save you money by not doing unnecessary repairs. Very good guys, I highly recommend them!

This station was perfect if my car was running on fumes and I was taking Solano Avenue home from work (sometimes on the way to work too). Prices were fair, typically on par with the other gas stations in the area. Maneuvering into the parking lot when driving on the same side of the road as the gas station is not too bad, but maneuvering in from across the street can be a bit hectic. Especially if coming during peak rush hour. There is a traffic light not too far from the station and a number of crosswalks, so make sure to double and triple check for pedestrians, cars, and bicycles when pulling in and out of here.
