It's always easy to pump and get in the fey what makes it bad is the people that park their cars while shopping inside and hold the line

It was the end of our SD trip, and we were headed home. We stopped here for some water and a pit stop. They luckily had restrooms open (two of them!), and they were very clean. I picked up some bottles of water, and went to check out. It was a quick and painless process. The staff here was friendly, which made the experience all that much better. This is one of the cleaner gas stations/convenience stores I've been to. Kudos to them. read more

This is the worst gas station ever. Stay away from pump #5. I stood there for 20 minutes and only got $27 of gas. And the attendant acknowledged it and shrugged his shoulders and blew me off. The gas station owner should be ashamed of themselves for allowing this. Ridiculous! read more

Gas station charges 2 dollar to use credit card. I'm pretty sure that's illegal. If you have to get gas here then sure, it's just two dollars but if you literally can make it anywhere else that would save you a whole two dollars. read more

Went in for gas and swiped my card for gas and cash-back. Was told the transaction "declined" even though my bank showed a pending charge. They ensured me it would not go through. Tried again without cash-back and was able to pump my gas. Ended up being charged both times. I called in and was asked to come down (despite living 40 minutes away, I drove down anyways - it's the principle of the matter). When i arrived, i was told i could not be helped without the manager. I asked to call the manager and they told me they cannot give his number. I then asked the employee to call him, and he said he is not able to either! He refused to tell me the manager's name and when he would next be in for me to try and get this issue resolved. I can understand that accidents happen but I was treated horribly and was not helped at all. I lost both my time and money. I will be putting in a complaint to the BBB as well. read more

This place tried to scam me and my girlfriend. They charged her card and said it didnt go through and then made us pay cash for 8$ worth of candy. It charged her card after we left and came back and they said they had no record of the charge and wouldnt provide a receipt. DONT GO HERE AND IF YOU DO PAY CASH. I go to this Arco in Newport Beach for gas drive all the way there thinking I'd save some gas the money I gave this man was alittle damp it wasn't ringing wet just alittle damp he takes it and I go out side to pump and it wasn't pumping gas I go inside I tell the man I'm on pump 3 he doesn't say anything I go back out side still no gas pumping out I go back inside he tells me he can't take my money I'm like are you fucking kiddening me money is money I told him he hands me the money and as I'm walking out the door he shuts it behind me omg this is unbelievable shuts the door behind me this guy was alittle to much I believe he was the owner what just because his in Newport Beach his to good for alittle damp money and it really wasn't that bad especially for not taking it I think he was alittle to much and way out of line shutting the door on me I mean really !!! I don't know why I keep coming back to this Arco. The woman that works the morning shift (weekdays, 10am) is clueless. She aggravates the hell out of me. If you happen to stop by one day, at about.... let's say 10am... you'll know exactly what I'm talking about. This place gets two thumbs down then right back up...their ass! read more

FIRST OFF THIS PLACE USED TO BE GREAT, NOW MOST OF THE STAFF SUCKS!!! I live literally 60 seconds walking distance and used to come here all the time but now I try to avoid it because most of the staff have the worst attitude towards customers who make them do their job! They are supposed to close at 12 so when I showed up at 11:45 on fumes grateful to make it to a gas station, the attendant said he was closed and wouldn't help me. So I asked him when they close and he even said "We close at 12, midnight" so I was baffled and said to him that there was 15 minutes still since it was 11:45pm and asked if he could sell me gas but he yelled at me telling me he wouldn't sell me any gas and I "needed to leave immediately OR ELSE......" So all in all being threatened, closing way before they are supposed too, getting yelled at, terrible customer service, clueless employees and anything else I'm forgetting to include I'll finish this off by saying just avoid this gas station and if you really need to go to an Arco there's one a block away on red hill and Bristol that has the same price (most of the times it's actually cheaper surprisingly) so save yourself the headache! read more

A bunch of SCAMMERS. They won't give you a receipt unless you ask for it because they want to steal from you without you knowing. Don't buy nicotine here. I paid in cash and waited for about 10 minutes and my money was never applied. I went back inside and the lady never even applied my money to my station! She said she fixed it and I went back to pump my gas - still nothing. I went back inside again for the 3rd time now and the lady was rude and acted like I didn't know how to pump gas and blamed me. Are you serious ?? At this point I just took my cash back and left. Such a joke and waste of time. Pricing is not as good anymore. Chevron has better pricing now! read more

The worker nana is so sweet, she's always really helpful and has a smile on her face. Coffee area is always clean and they always have fresh coffee. If they are out nana will make a fresh pot of coffee. read more

I work next door to this Arco, the staff is friendly and communicate great. They offer free air regardless if your purchase anything. One of the guys there helped me jump my car when my battery died. All in all, good gas station. Restrooms are always clean. read more

Uploaded an arco gift card to some app and had to go inside to try to use it. The girl didn't know how, so some supervisor (seemed to be the owner) came over to try to help. While the girl kept just saying they couldn't do it, the supervisor insisted she try every way possible. When it didn't work after he tried everything, he was so apologetic and kind. He was concerned that I didn't have gas and offered to give me some even though the gift card didn't work! read more

Come inside to see attendant just sitting in the corner on their phone not knowing they are working.
