I went to service attendant who was locked away in the station. I told her about the locked gas pump nozzles. She said that they open at 6am. I asked her if she knew of any other Chevron stations in the area that were open. She said they all open at 6am. I thought that 6am was far away. But I looked at time and saw that I had about 15 minutes remaining. So I said to myself that I can wait. Meanwhile I wiped off my vehicle to kill time. Finally the attendant came out and removed all locks from gas pump nozzles. I pumped gas immediately. Then left. Ive never experienced a locked gas pump nozzles before. This was a slight inconvenience.

The prices at this Shell seem to be pretty reasonable and I like that I can save more money by using either my Fuel Rewards or Ralphs Rewards when I fill up. There is also a Mini Mart inside if you want to grab a drink, snack, or some Oil for your car which I needed during this visit. If you need a Car Wash you can select that option at the pump and you can choose which wash you want. I will continue coming to this location because it is one of the better Shell gas stations in this area.

I agree with Sharr K and Kristen M, this Chevron gas station seems to be the cheapest in Torrance. I like the fact they don't charge you extra for using your credit card. Some places don't even advertise additional charge until you run your credit card! This place is clean. It's located on the corner of Carson St and Crenshaw Blvd, across the Torrance Fire Station. You can use their window wipers and paper towels while you waiting for your car to fill up. I love their coffee here, it's Seattle's Best Coffee. I usually mix 3 parts bold caffeinated coffee with 1 part french vanilla for under $2. They give you a bonus card for your drink purchases. Buy 5 coffees/beverages and get the 6th one free!! And of course, the staff members are always friendly. Service with a smile here. I wasn't sure I wanted to advertise this gas station because it does get busy. Well, they deserve the kudos here!! It's not as busy late night or early morning.

I'll be suggesting to Amazon that they relocate the lockers to a customer-friendly business.

Went to pay inside, no issue with payment on first try. A week later, I received a fraudulent charge via Amex, in Van Nuys. Unfortunately for offender(s), Amex plays no games with fraud. Hopefully I am wrong, and my card did not get 'skimmed' here. This station is always big on security at pumps, usually denoted by security tape affixed to pump. It wasn't on there the night I think my card got 'skimmed'. The offenders had ALL of my card information, or at least enough of it to type my card number into payment system, at a Target, for a sizable charge, that would have been captured, if not for Amex's aggressive intervention. Be weary at pumps, trust the security tape - if it's not there, avoid presenting card.

I've been in twice within a week and have been told both times that they can't fill propane tanks due to being dark outside the first time (~6pm) and the second was due to rain (~10am). I could understand if there was only one associate working but both times had three. That caused me to go to U-Haul where a lady who was twice the age of your young, entitled, lazy associates filled it with no issues in the rain. She told me there is ABSOLUTLEY NO reason you can't fill up in the dark or in the rain. Might want to get better associates if you want any chance of at least meeting or exceeding your prior month/year revenue targets in an unstable and challenging economy. I sure wont be back!

I hardly saw Sinclair gas stations here in LA. I saw a lot in the Midwest and East Coast. The place is clean, no trash on the ground and the machines are new. I visited before the morning rush which is nice. Both exits take me to my work which is perfect because traffic sucks. There are a couple schools and hospitals in the area so morning traffic is real. Lets see if my car likes their gas.
