Believe the reviews. I came here again after loving it for so long and the guy at the counter has the worst attitude I've ever encountered. I asked for no jalapeños and he shouts "What's wrong with jalapeños, our food isn't even spicy, why do you want me to remove them?" And i spoke softly and said "Because I don't like super spicy foods, is that okay" This man continued to give me the worst attitude I've ever encountered so I walked out and left. This is not a place anyone should support. I told my sister about it and she said last week the same man gave her attitude about not wanting chili on her corn. I'm so baffled by this behavior. As a foodie, I do not condone intolerable behaviors. He's apparently the manager too. Authentic Mexican cuisine in the East Williamsburg neighborhood. I'm very picky where I get my grilled corn and this place does not disappoint. Grilled Mexican corn is a mixture of cotija cheese, mayo, sour cream, chile powder and lime before getting topped with more cheese. It's so delicious! The shrimp tacos are amazing and the grilled shrimp platter comes with Spanish rice and beans. I always order the grilled shrimp platter. You can dine in or take out. The staff is very friendly. I don't really do reviews for restaurants that I have bad experiences with, my solution is just not to go there anymore. But this place deserves what I'm about to say. As soon as I walked in, I asked the counter person if I could sit anywhere and I was cut off by him saying "we don't do table service!" I said ok, I asked to use the bathroom first to wash my hands and stepped right back out, I grabbed a menu and he proceeded to say "my apologies those prices on the menu aren't updated, we have to work on those" which was the same thing he said about 6 months ago when I came in as well. As I'm looking through and I see a la carte tacos and I said to the person I would like 3 tacos and as I was about to say which one, he cut me off again saying that they don't mix and match. My frustration built and I asked if he wanted customers and he then again cut me off saying that I don't have to be there. I'm not a violent person by any means, but being born and raised in that Bushwick area, people like that get socked in the mouth easy. I'm not sure how this place has more than 2 stars. This is not saying the food is bad, the food is actually decent, but the service is beyond terrible. read more

From the outside, the appearance of the store does not live up to the standards of their food. Definitely not saying that it's run down or shabby, but it gives off small business owner vibes.
