Good service, clean space & well decorated. The food was fresh & a decent price. The drinks were well made & fresh. Had 2 elotes, 1 alcoholic bev, 2 mocktails, & 4 tacos for about $75.

The best asada nachos I've ever had!! They were so so yummy and each bite was full of delicious perfectly cooked steak, cheese, and beans. I also got the Bistec a la Mexicana, which had an INCREDIBLE savory sauce, literally finger licking good lol. My sister got the Chilaquiles and my dad got the Birria tacos which he was super happy with. I would come back here for the nachos alone.

See you next Taco Tuesday?! $15 for 3 tacos and a margarita, this deal doesn't get any better! The tacos are standard small tacos, meat, fish, or veggie options all available, all delicious, there's something for everyone. Theres also other happy hour options thought the week. Interior is cute, simple and clean. Relaxed and casual ambiance make it great for any occasion, window and bar seats are perfect is you like eating alone. Enough tables for a small group too. Very friendly staff, attentive and accommodating.

I had no idea about this place but I sure am glad that I found it. VERY tasty and very affordable! Came here on a weekday afternoon for some lunch. The place is spotless, new, and has plenty of seating inside. I didn't have any alcohol but their bar looks amazing. All the best top-shelf liquors. Service was okay but wayyyyy too slow for a place that was not even half full. That's why I can't give it a full four stars. The menu isn't huge but they have all of the essentials and everything was absolutely delicious. I had the shrimp burrito bowl. It was the best-tasting bowl that I've ever had. Rice, beans, quesillo, lettuce, sour cream, and Pico de Gallo. So good! Nice size and it was FILLED with shrimp! More shrimp than anything else in the bowl. These were big shrimp too. Not some small ones. Was very satisfying. Unfortunately, I didn't indulge in anything else. I will have to come back for more! Or you can order delivery. This place is in East Williamsburg but they deliver to Ridgewood, where I live. Score! Don't pass by this restaurant without giving it a chance. One of the better places to eat on Grand Street.

Excellent food! They have good drink options for under $10 for happy hour (I think it's M-F 4- 7pm?) and delicious food options at a moderate price. I had the tinga quesadilla which was amazing. Came with guac and pico de gallo We also got chips and salsa! Great chip quality. The passion fruit marg was 10/10 delicious with a cute garnish and the traditional marg was great too. I noticed they have a Taco Tuesday deal as well which I will definitely be coming back for! I would recommend if you're in the area or craving a yummy taco:)

This place has hands down the best nachos in Brooklyn. Beans or asada with everything on it. Tacos are amazing too. Guac is always fresh and service is excellent. Get the red sauce

Great food. Nachos are not a full size like most Mexican restaurants but they do have lots of meat on top and way too much cheese. It's still delicious. The Quesadilla, rice and beans and Elote was also very delicious. This place is just like Mcondos tacos. Seems they might even be the same owners or business partners as the food is completely identical appearance/presentation wise and taste exactly the same.

Spicy Chicken Tinga Nachos and Chicken Flautas

to be honest, the margaritas aren't anything special. HOWEVER, the food is phenomenal!! you need to get the nachos! never have i seen a place that gives every single nacho their own toppings so every bite is just as delicious as the last.

    Enchiladas verdes
    Daniel M.

The presentation looks great, we order chinichanga ans enchiladas verdes with chicken. Good portions and well seasoned food. I happened to be in the area with a coworker for lunch, just wanted something quick, the place is very clean cut in terms of design but it did not feel like a taqueria or like the taquerias you can find in Roosevelt avenue. Parking was difficult, no free parking in the area and we has 2 meals with tax and 15% tip for $32 and some cents- no drinks not even flat water was offered. Not sure that i would come back either. My friend asked for tap water and we never got it, so he bought a Mexican Jarritos soda mandarin flavor, as that was the only flavor they had. They advertised 12 different flavors on the display but only 1 flavor available.

As other reviews noted the service is slow. Food was mediocre, at best. Nachos were cold upon arrival (I was eating at the bar).

I was so pleased to see that the quality is amazing and service is exceptional across the board. Be prepared for a line at this location, since it's close to a lot of tourist attractions. Don't let the line intimidate you though, it goes by super fast. Not a lot of space to sit and eat your food, but you'll get the full on Mexican taco stand experience. I recommend at least three tacos if you're hungry. My favorite are the asada tacos and the adobada tacos, but you can't go wrong with anything here. Everything is great and made fresh to your liking!

Get your drink there and a slip with your food items on it. Take the slip to the next counter where they prepare it. They're masters at it so they're cranking out a taco probably every 15 to 20 seconds. There's a line of workers operating the grills to get the meat and tortillas ready for the prep guys. So efficient. No seats. You stand and eat which really keeps the turn over rate high. The inside is no frills. Standing room only to eat your tacos and exit. The food is so good. $6 a taco but it's NYC. Love everything about this place and I try to frequent it for a quick bite as often as I can.

The birria tacos were really good (or so my son said) but sadly the taquitos were terrible. They literally just had unseasoned shredded chicken (but serves me right for ordering something so basic). The salsa also tasted more like tomato paste than actual salsa. But again, the goal for this stop was a frozen marg(s) and that mission was accomplished and then were good . The atmosphere was also fun and lively and our server was attentive and never tried to push us out the door despite sitting there for a while!

The energy was flat, and that lack of enthusiasm carried right into the food. The menu needs a complete overhaul. I'm not sure if it's trying to be "different," but the taco options were unappealing just from reading the descriptions. I managed to choose the two best-sounding items I could find, and honestly, they were so bland I don't even remember what they were. The setup and decor were basic. This spot could be a fun hangout, but it would take a better menu and staff who actually seem to care. It feels like just another restaurant that's lost sight of creating an actual experience for guests. The lack of vibe is obvious--if you don't want customers, just say so. I'm giving 2 stars out of respect for the fact that people have to work for a living.

I had this place bookmarked for a while. Finally came for my birthday dinner. It was a rainy…read moreevening and I was hoping there'd be umbrella sleeves offered. I didn't see any but saw buckets for umbrellas. I opted not to leave it there since I didn't wanna forget or risk someone taking it. I took it upstairs with me. My friend had arrived and was seated. Apparently, they do offer sleeves because she got one. But the 3 people who were at the hostess booth failed to offer me one. The beautiful ambiance will get your attention immediately. It is a stunning space. The tableware was gorgeous as well. We waited for our last friend to arrive who was almost half an hour late before ordering (we thought she'd arrive sooner). Our server, Matias was gracious about it the whole time. What we ordered: Drinks: Passionfruit Margaritas & Mojito - we were happy with them. Tlayudas, Guacamole y Salsas - this was really good and a great option for the table to share. The homemade chips alone were excellent. Liked all the different dips. Guac could've used some cilantro and more acid/spice. Tán Ceviche - I loved this. Super fresh and great flavor. Could use a touch of acid. My entree was the Shrimp & Crab Enchiladas - This was pretty good. The sauce could've used some spice and some acid to cut through the richness. My friend ordered the Yellow Corn Soup as part of her meal and she did not like it. She said it was too sweet which I thought was strange. I tried a spoonful and I agreed with her. It needed a savory note and again, acid would've done wonders. Also, the crab was a bit fishy in this. She enjoyed her tamal though. I tried a touch of the sauce and it was delish. My other friend had the Quesabirria which she was also happy with. To sum up: Ambiance: 5/5 The space is undoubtedly gorgeous. Food: 4/5 Beautiful presentation on everything but each dish lacks an element or two to make it a home run. Staff: Wait staff 5/5. Downstairs staff (greeters/hostess) 4/5. Needs to be more on point like offering customers sleeves for umbrellas or pointing out the buckets to put them in. At some point through our entrees a group of 3 women were doing a 10-minute photo shoot by the stairway where our table was. Absolutely inappropriate behavior and a manager should've stopped it. Camera flashes all up in our faces while we're eating wasn't cool. Overall, still a great elevated Mexican cuisine option. The slight tweaks would make this a 5 star place for me. I'd return to try more things.

If you are someone who is looking at an aesthetic place, this is a top contender. Unfortunately, I would say this place is better looking than the food is good. The food was fine, appetizers were all fresh but lacked any real depth in flavor. I wasn't too thrilled with the bone marrow I had either (but the tortillas come in the cutest basket). Personally, if it wasn't for the drinks and the space, I cant say this place is worth it - you're not coming here for the food. Another little complaint I have is the women's restroom on the second floor - right by the door is a floor to ceiling mirror which I understand was included to make the space seem bigger, but my friends and I agreed that it is a little misleading - I kept wanting to walk into it thinking there was more space there and not wall. I would recommend maybe putting a decal on it to clearly show its mirror.
