When I was scrolling through Aimee's website, I noticed that there were options for lymphatic drainage which I was really interested in because I'm too lazy to do my lymphatic drainage yoga exercises and self massages that a quick 30 minute massage would do me good. However, I noticed that she had myofascial release massages. Normally, I get deep tissue massages and I'd like for these massages to be very firm to help take care of the knots in my back. I am very picky when it comes to massages. The best part of deep tissue massages is when a CMT can break through the facia and break apart the tension. I never had a myofascial release massage so I googled it and liked what I read. So this is a type of massage that I had today with Aimee. And what a pleasant surprise this was today! She was very thorough even though I only had an hour booked Aimee also taught me exercises that I can do throughout the day to help me with my pain. I loved how well my massage was today that I needed to buy a monthly membership which she didn't even pitch to me. I felt so great after the massage that I needed to be kneaded more!
