Unfortunately, we have had a lot of difficulties with our Samsung washer and dryer and have had to have both repaired, several times, over the past 4-5 years. A few months ago, Greentek repaired our dryer, and most recently, they came out to assess a persistent annoying problem we've had with our washer. Greentek advised us the cost to repair the washer was higher than what we wanted to pay. (The amount of the repair and the amount we put into repairing it in the past was going to exceed the cost of a new washer.) So, we declined to have Greentek repair the washer and decided to buy a new washer. (Not a Samsung!) Both experiences were positive and we have no complaints with Greentek. They are prompt, professional, offer reasonable prices and do everything as agreed. Call them.

We all make mistakes and I was glad to hear that they stepped up by admitting there was fault. My part came in, they got installed and did a good job. I will use their services again* So far, not impressed. Received a text from tech that they were on their way to my job, replied with thumbs up. Hour and 15 min. later, I called office to ask about the delay...they said they would contact tech. Got a text back saying that tech was on the way. Showed up hour+ later. Could not "fix" icemaker, need to order part. Sent me quote, I approved quote 4 days ago, haven't heard any response. Communication is key, have not experienced that. I am a real estate broker

My AC was broken for weeks thanks to a bunch of scammers that kept giving me the run around. I…read morefinally called another company, not Quick Cooling (though I really wish I'd called Quick Cooling first!), for another opinion and they replaced the capacitor. For one day, I had glorious AC, but then I came home late last night from work to find my house above 90 again and the fan motor dead (not the capacitor, the actual motor). I broke down sobbing, set up my window AC to cool myself and my foster kittens down, then got to the work of calling everyone in town to find someone to help. I wasted hours calling other people. In one case, a receptionist told me that there was absolutely definitely room in the schedule for me last night, but a tech called me nearly two hours later to inform me that there was no room at all and the best they could do was to help me tomorrow. I then called Quick Cooling. An actual tech, out in the field, answered my call. I wish I could remember his name, but I was exhausted by that point (somewhere approaching 11 pm after an 11 hour shift). He asked me to text him my address and told me he'd be wrapping up a job in 45 minutes and would let me know when he was on his way. He was at my house, at the opposite end of town from where he was, an hour later. He was friendly, despite the late hour, and very understanding. He confirmed my diagnosis and he and a younger gentleman, who I believe was his apprentice, went through the work, in the dark of night, of replacing the fan motor. Through all of this, he didn't get impatient with me for standing and watching, nor did he get upset when I asked a lot of questions. He showed me the birthday of my unit (1997) and some corrosion on the coils/fins and explained that, while my unit should work awhile longer, he would NOT recommend replacing parts more expensive than the fan motor, nor would he recommend replacing the motor again. He recommended a unit for when I am ready, told me a very reasonable price for it and then, when I asked about a more expensive unit I was interested in, explained in detail why that might not be appropriate for my situation. Despite it being nearly 1 am when he completed the job and the fact that he had to be back on the job at between 6am and 7am the next morning, he took the time to double check my filters and recommend maintenance schedules without trying to sell me anything extra. He did so in a friendly, kind and businesslike manner and was very sympathetic. I should add that I am a petite female and there were no men home in my house. He presented me with his card upon knocking on the door and did not enter my home until I had inspected it. He did this without being prompted. He put me at ease and I did not feel intimidated at all by him or his apprentice. Sometimes contractors can feel intimidating or pushy, but I felt very safe having him in my home in the middle of the night. I am very grateful to Quick Cooling and will be recommending them to all my friends. I am very likely going to replace my AC through them when the time comes. Thanks, Quick Cooling! You're great. I'll be sharing your info with all my neighbours, too!

They loaded an incorrect unit on the truck that the technician/installer recognized after the demo of the existing unit and instead of ignoring and installing anyway (sometimes challenging for a homeowner to know the difference) he called the company and went back to pick up the right one and was still able to complete the installation within a normal timeframe. Erick was very methodical & quick, yet meticulous (& didn't rush or cut corners after losing an hour to pick up correct unit) and payed attention to the details and cleaned everything up afterwards. Louis did a great job on the outside unit, new "pad", electrical connections, etc. ps... they handle registering your product, rebates and arranging the city inspector, who by the way, said it was a great installation job and loves to see installations like that.

Sorry for the long review...but please read on to hear my horror story with this sorry excuse of a company. I don't normally write reviews (good or bad), but my poor experience with this company cannot go unheard. I feel obligated to warn others of their frankly criminal business practices. I originally called them out to take a look at my old HVAC that was no longer producing cold air. They identified the Freon was low and filled it back up. Worked well for a bit, but then got low again...indicating their was a leak in the system. The unit was so old, we decided to replace the unit instead of fixing it. The new unit was installed, but not without issue. I chose what they described as their go-to brand - American Standard. Apparently their technicians do not know how to install their go-to brand, because it took several days and several different technicians to get the install completed. A year later, the unit began tripping the breaker any time it went to the 2nd stage. Took them 3 days to come out (when approaching triple digit temperatures), charged $150 service fee and $450 in parts and labor to add a capacitor to the setup (a $50 part and about 10 minutes of labor). Did not fix the problem. Tech came out again, and said it seemed to be an issue with the breaker and that I needed to call an electrician to diagnose and solve the problem. Ended up paying $300 for an electrician to come out. When he took a look at the install, he was flabbergasted. He could not believe what he was seeing! He identified the unit was installed on an aluminum electrical line, that was severely undersized for the unit installed. He said no respectable company would EVER do this kind of shotty work. He said replacing the electrical line would likely cost a couple thousand dollars, since it was on the other side of the house. When I called Smart Air to let them know of the situation, the dispatcher was very dismissive. She said she would have their lead install tech follow up with me, but of course I never heard anything back... That is when they went dark despite several additional attempts on my part, and broke communication with me entirely. I ended up having to pay an electrician to run the new line on my own dollar - several thousand dollars - and now I'm finally back up and running.
