I love their arrangements because I can explain on the phone the feeling I want, colors, style/sentiment (and I'm not great at explaining that sometimes), and they nail it every-time, except maybe once but that was my fault. In the beginning of buying from them, I was too vague, didn't trust that they'd pull it off and too-many-cooks-in-the-kitchen scenario. I explain the issue and she states I can bring them back if I want. I say I'd rather not have to come all the way back. I can send pictures but according to Yelp this is not first issue. She says yes this is Nicole the shop owner. I say well I would like what we paid $97 for them and followed instructions. But I do not want to come down there and get another bouquet that will wilt. I say the reviews show we are not only ones. (btw-she kept interrupting me) She says how they are a mom and pop shop not some big corporation so she can't just issue refunds when she wants. I ordered for my wife an arrangement of 18 roses for valentines day. The arrangement sent looked nothing like the arrangement on the website. The roses were very nice, but the green foliage to create the fulness was lacking and very disappointing. I requested a photo of the finished product prior to delivery and never received it. I normally request this to discuss deficiencies and make corrections. This experience was very similar to ordering through the internet or an 800 number where they contract the business out to a vendor. Nykole looked at the tie my son chose, and then made an extraordinary corsage and boutonniere arrangement for my son and his date. I knew she was creative, but she took every "clue" that I gave her, saw the picture of the girl's dress and my description, and somehow made a corsage that fit her personality! The best word to describe them is lazy. They refuse to put in the effort to make the order correct. If Yelp had a 1/2 star, they'd be receiving that instead. I ordered a bouquet of flowers with an I Love You balloon through 1-800-FLOWERS for my 14 year old daughter. When they showed up at 8:30 PM, it was not what I ordered and the balloon was missing. I refused it. The next day, they delivered a bouquet that was still wrong and they attached a You're Special balloon, plus they just left it on the door step and never rang the doorbell, probably because they knew that I'd refuse it again. What a disgrace of a business. I bought a $70 bouquet of flowers for Mother's Day that they never delivered. 2 days after Mother's Day, I was told that they attempted to deliver but couldn't get past the gate. Ok. WHY DIDN'T YOU CALL ME or my Mom while you were at the gate? You had both numbers. After simply not delivering the flowers, they didn't think to call and try to rectify and required me reaching out to them via email, phone, fb inbox, and shooting flares into the air. I was promised a refund via credit card I paid with, which still has yet to be seen. After getting the run-around, I was told that refunds take at least one billing cycle. What?? In what world does it take 30 days to process a refund? Nykcole, the owner, via fb inbox told me she'd send me confirmation of the refund transaction when she got into the store, but could no longer be distracted because she was busy "nursing her infant." She dodged me ducked my calls for the week prior. If you're too busy to handle a pissed off customer, why would you choose to make it a priority now that your infant needs care? Of course the confirmation never showed up, so when I followed up, someone responded from her phone claiming she had left her phone at home, but she would send the confirmation ASAP. Bizarre. When the "confirmation" of my refund arrived via email, it was an in-house generated invoice with no confirmation from a credit card company of a refund. At this point, I've made peace with the fact that she's decided to steal my $70. Given my experience and the others I've read about here, I'm sad to say that I firmly believe that she will have little difficulty running a family business into the ground. read more

Worse, within a day, the flowers were all browning and wilting- the white roses never even opened up, just started getting sad and brown and dry around the edges (we cut the stems, put them in fresh water with flower food- the standard of what you're supposed to do). I ordered Valentines Day flowers for my wife from FTD online. I've done so for years, and it's worked out great. This time, FTD used Arden Park. What a terrible florist! The bouquet arrived as a very small arrangement, even though I ordered the 'better' version. Ok, my bad for not just buying roses. They were delivered late on Monday the 9th so she could enjoy them for the work week prior to V-Day. Wednesday morning, they were already significantly wilted. I contacted FTD for warranty replacement. Arden Park refused to re deliver until Monday (Presidents Day Holiday) or Tuesday. I had to recontact FTD to explain that her office (private attorney office) is closed on the holiday. So, Tuesday was good. However, Tuesday came and went without flowers or a phone call. When I called on Wednesday, they said they couldn't get flowers for Tuesday. They finally delivered on Wednesday a small little bouquet. It withered again in two days. Never EVER use Arden Park. They obviously treat online orders as secondary. FTD says I can't exclude them from future deliveries outright, but I can request specific florists. I will be sure to request ANY florist other than Arden Park from now on. read more

Overpriced, underdelivered, and very poor customer service. I spent over $800 on two bouquets and some balloons for Valentine's Day and had a very bad experience. I specifically chose this place because it was a mile and a half from my girlfriend's house and I wanted the flowers delivered early in the morning but they did not get delivered until 2 in the afternoon. They were also delivered in an unmarked vehicle which creeped out my girlfriend(should have been delivered in a stickered up van). Also the delivery guy told her 'happy thanksgiving' which is weird and unprofessional. The few times I spoke on the phone with the people at the shop I was put on hold for 15-30 minutes and then the people I spoke with were very rude and not willing to assist with my concerns. Also a lot of the flowers in one of the bouquets were dying, and in the 2 dozen roses bouquet the stems were not cut to the appropriate sizes so the bouquet looked off. When I addressed these issues to the florist she was really rude about it. I expected a lot more for having spent over $350 per bouquet. My husband ordered flowers from a third party vendor, and after being incorrectly charged and being lied to, I called APF, and they apologized for a problem that wasn't theres. The flowers delivered we're BEAUTIFUL and fresh, and smelled amazing. The girl I spoke with offered me a discount for a future order, and recommended ordering directly from them, and NOT a third party. Turns out, these third party companies like to the customer as well as the vendor, and this great company is getting poor reviews for the "Bigger" third party company, and it's not right. My husband ordered "Pooch Party" birthday bouquet thru 1800 Flowers to Arden Park Florist. The pics below show what received 11/18. So sad and disappointed!!! It's photo of delivery, 2nd two days later and 3rd is the original concept. First delivery was left outside without a phone call as I was not home. No protection either. I called the florist on 11/20 as closed on 19th. I asked about delivery process and explained I was not home. The clerk made all excuses that it was called in same day (website states same day delivery) can't control delivery schedule, can't call recipient ect.... I could not get a word in - upon hanging up I felt like the poor quality of bouquet was my fault. I did expect the quality to be much higher especially after reviewing the website. The photo concept was made with carnations yes, a cheaper flower than hydrangea that we're used in my version which are totally wilted in 2 days . Flowers were ordered by my mother who wished for me to have them throughout the week of Christmas, they arrived late on Christmas Eve and were found on Christmas day. My mother's florist from out of town personally contacted the shop and their response was indifference. A simple apology or any offering to make it right would have been better received.
