I put a 12" tear in my carpet 10 years ago pushing a very heavy coffee table unassisted. It looked awful and always reminded me of my stupidity. I'm a believer! I had water damage that needed my carpet's pulled back and padding removed. I called Vince to have the pads replaced and carpet re-stretched. I called 2 other shops and Vince gave me the most competitive estimate for work which included carpets cleaned. We primarily communicated via text. But unlike the others, he did insist on coming out to have a look before providing the estimate. I tried 1 on Craigslist but ultimately decided to go with someone on yelp because they had existing reviews. Boy, I'm glad I did. He came on time and got right to work. It took him over 5 hours. But he added new padding that matched the existing one, stretched the carpet, and cleaned it. Afterwards, it looked good if not better than before. I walked around and didn't notice any difference or any lumps. He is very detail oriented and diligent. I even used his services to clean some of my other carpet areas. We originally selected Ardent Carpet Restore because we have several dogs, including a puppy that wasn't easy to house train. Ardent had been recommended specifically for getting out tough "pet" stains. Vincent quietly went to work, pre-treating every stain and manually addressing each stain. When he was done, both my wife and I thought Vincent did an excellent job, the stains were completely gone, the entire carpet was very clean and there were no odors. His equipment was in great condition and he was very careful while moving throughout our home. We've had Vincent clean our carpets on an annual basis since that initial cleaning.
