My realtor said they were great however, they didn't show up and completely ghosted us. It was so stressful, inconvenient and expensive, as we were moving from 800 miles away, and having to arrange it all over the phone. We had new floors being put in and had to pay extra money for the flooring contractor to come on two separate days to rip out the floors, wait for odor treatment, and then put new floors in. We delayed moving into our new house by several days which cost us additional nights in an Airbnb. We had all of our possessions waiting for us in UBox storage, and had we been able to move in on Monday, rather than waiting until Friday for service that was never performed, we would not have incurred an additional month's rent for storage. Fair pricing, honest, good customer service, timely. Just a few words I'd use to describe BioSafety. When Chris, the owner came to our home to provide a quote he was straight forward with his pricing. He told me that all of the mold restoration companies use a similar matrix for pricing because it is an industry standard. This is mostly due to the fact this service is paid by home owners insurance. However, because BioSafety is a small business, and I wanted to pay for the work out of pocket, circumventing the insurance process, Chris was willing to work with me on the price of the work I needed. While other companies quoted me as high as $6000, Chris quoted me under $1000!! Chris and Brandon were respectful of how I don't wear shoes on inside my home during their inspections. When it came to doing the work, Brandon layed down adhesive carpet protection plastic. Brandon was an excellent communicator and explained how he was going to proceed sectioning off the rooms infected with mold. He was clear on how the air scrubbers and dehumidifiers needed to be set up and for how long. I'll provide some pics of the work completed. Keep in mind this company like many other mold restoration companies, do the removal but not the repair of the drywall. Chris and his team fixed a problem that had been plaguing me for years. After having a horrible home inspection done where the inspector and his son glossed over important issued, ignored safety concerns and used incorrect images to identify problems in areas they also mislabeled, Chris' people isolated to correct problems and identified the actual culprit of a smell from under the house. The owner, Chris, came to assess what we thought might be a mold problem at our house yesterday. He seemed super competent, and knowledgeable about mold, how it typically takes root in a home, and how to get rid of it if it's taken root. Armed with various high tech moisture sensing devices, he instantly was able to scan different spots in the bathroom, kitchen and laundry room to assess whether we had any mold problem(s). What I'm most impressed by about Chris is that he seems to be a straight shooter who does NOT exaggerate the state/risk of mold he spots in a potential client's home just to get them to hire him. He found a TINY bit of mold under our kitchen sink and then told me how to simply and inexpensively take care of that myself. I imagine there are other companies out there just trying to make a buck that upon seeing the same thing would be like, "Oh man, you've got a major problem here. This could quickly mushroom out of control. You need to hire us to deal with this immediately! Oh, and by the way, that'll cost you [INSERT EXORBITANT COST QUOTE HERE]." This company simply never answered me. I reach out more than once to try to figure out a way to biohazard clean the remnants of a rodent problem which was solved by an exterminator. I finally just use the exterminator to the tune of $850 to solve the problem including the cleaning. read more

Bio Safety Clean (Chris) responded quickly to my call. Christopher and his team did an outstanding job!!! On a scale of 1-5, with 5 being the best, Bio Safety Clean is a 5!!! I couldn't have had them do better! They deserve every star they've earned! The property I bought was a HUGE disaster!!! The previous owner had bought the property for her 32-year-old son. After several years of living there, his mother told him that she was going to sell the property. He threw a temper tantrum (to say the least) and completely trashed it. She had to sell it for a lot, LOT less money (about $400,000 less). I had bought the property site because I heard about its attributes, but it was physically unseen by me. I might've changed my mind had I seen it. In fact, my Real Estate Agent highly discouraged me not to buy it! There are two ways to get to my new property. There was a long way and a short way. The short way required a four-wheel-drive. The short way, (strongly discouraged) took you through an easement and it crossed a small river. It was strongly encouraged by the Real Estate Agent that people go the long way. When Chris (from Bio Safety Clean) heard about the little river, he got terribly excited. He liked that! Then when Chris saw the little cabin and its limited space driveway, he told me that there was no way to fit his dumpster, so that meant that he would have to make 3-4 daily trips to the dump site with his own truck. The job would take 5-6 days. The estimate he gave me was reasonable, considering the circumstances. He even honored the fact that I was in the military and gave me a military discount. Rats had made their home in the lower kitchen cabinets. There was Rat Feces all under. The lower kitchen cabinet would have to come out. He sent me pictures. I know Chris was an honest guy, because when I asked him if he had found mold, he told me there was no mold. When the neighbor, Carl saw that I had hired a team to get rid of all the garbage that the previous tenant left, he got excited. He (God Bless him) used his forklift and moved not one (1), not two (2), but 13 trees that laid in Bio Safety Clean's way. Chris told me about my great neighbor Carl, and my great new neighbor, Carl told me about Chris (Bio Safety Clean), saying that each one was doing a great job!!! When I asked if Bio Safety Clean could knock down a wall and the ceiling for me, Chris drew up a rough draft of the cabin and x'd out the wall that he thought I was talking about, and then sent me a photo of it. Yes, that was the wall. Then he asked me about which rooms I wanted the ceilings removed from the cabin. The Living-room and the Kitchen. So, he did that too. I'm going to hire BioHazard from now on. I will say at first I that communication was very punctual at first. Bio clean was very punctual and responsive. What the 1 star is for is that in the middle of the project things went wrong although communication was great, Chris knew I was under a timeline and dropped the ball severely. I needed test results under a certain time frame and he never showed up. To this day I still have not heard from him nor his co worker Brandon. I also asked for a summary report which I never received. Also they broke pipes accidentally, and put holes in walls that I had to patch up. The tape used to seal off cabinets, pealed the finish off the cabinets due to them not taking off. I had to take it off. I have contacted several times but even though I was timely on paying them I am still waiting for a reply on test results and summary report. I was bummed at the end that a company can come out so strong but in the end really dropped the ball. If I receive these two things I will change my review. read more

Chris and his team are are awesome and recently came to my rescue. I have Lyme Disease and knew that I had an active water leak in my house somewhere causing mold. I had hired RestCon Consultants and paid them $$$$ and they were unable to determine the source of the mold. Chris came in and with a moisture meter device and figured out that my problem was coming from the master bathroom. It turns out that the tiles had started cracking and the water was leaking into the drywall. Chris was prompt in getting me a quote. His crew came out a few days later and were very professional. They contained the area and did the demo of the shower in a day. Chris came back a few days later to test the area and it came back mold free. I initially contacted Chris this past Wednesday for a mold inspection. We had agreed to schedule an appointment for this Friday sometimes early in the morning. I want to Thank Chris Lofton (owner). Chris personally came out on short notice for a mold inspection. We are selling our house and the general home inspector noted "possible mold" and scared the buyers I think. I explained my situation to Chris and he rushed out the next day and did a complete crawls space inspection. He checked humidity levels and crawled around and looked at every area of the crawl space focusing particularly on the home inspection notations. It is nice to have a professional and licensed mold inspector tell you that your crawls space is MOLD FREE. After the big storm, I had some water settling in my crawlspace and mold smell inside the house. I went by the good reviews and reached out, Chris was great, he was able to accommodate me during the week, other companies indicated a 1-2 weeks appointments. He came did a quick inspection from inside/outside and proposed a solution to dry the crawlspace with promise to do a full inspection underneath the house once things are dry with pictures and long-term solution to the issue. I went with his drying proposal. Fast forward after 2 weeks, they did an inspection and orally told me things look good and that the solution will be to install fans so I paid the agreed fees with promise to get a report and next steps. This is when things went downhill, I never got a report of the inspection findings, any photos or the longer term solution promised. For last 3 weeks, I have been trying to get hold of Chris and either no reply or told I will get a report and nothings happens. For me, when a customer is willing to pay for your service and you decide to ignore them and not provide full disclosure then it means they either can't stand behind their work or there is something they screwed down there and don't want to be held responsible for.
