I've had two terrible experiences at this location. We dined in person a few months ago and waited over an hour for our food. Additionally, neither of us ever got our drinks. The pizza was decent so I decided to order curbside pickup in hopes of a better experience. When I arrived, I called to get the order and was told that 1. They didn't have my order and 2. They didn't do curbside. I've attached a screenshot of the curbside option (this link is directly through their website). The individual who I spoke with on the phone found my order after searching for it for a while and then asked me to come inside to pick it up. Top tier pizza for a reasonable price. Appetizers and drinks came out quickly, but the pizzas took a bit longer. Our server was very attentive and offered great seasonal recommendations. *Squash Salad: a seasonal dish that perfectly captured the feeling of autumn, served in a hot cast iron skillet. The squash was sweet, garlicky, and buttery, topped with smoky breadcrumbs. The blistered tomatoes paired well with the balsamic glaze, adding sweetness and juiciness to each bite. *La Pina Loca: perfect mix of salty, sweet, and spicy. The pork was rendered beautifully, creating a savory oil that blended well with the pineapple. The jalapenos added mild heat, and the hot honey was subtle. The crust was thin with a good char on the bottom. If I lived closer, I would come here all the time. It is unfortunate that the squash salad is only a seasonal item because my group kept talking about how much we craved it afterward. I've been meaning to come here for a while because I heard they made amazing wood-fired pizza, and I was not disappointed! Cranberry and tomato burrata salad: it's a caprese salad, which I have nothing to complain about :) I did wish there were more tomatoes though, since the burrata was so large La pina loca--what an explosion of flavor!! I liked the hot honey with the pineapple, and the crust was really good Black garlic and funghi--Because we had the La pina loca first, this tasted a little bland in comparison. The crust was much crispier, but I felt like it missing something. But all in all, would definitely come back for good pizza, I want to try all the other flavors! Starving for some good pizza? Go check this place out! It's a bit of challenge to find parking, but worth the pie. Went here on a Friday evening and got a seat at the bar immediately. Note that they dont reservations and it is clear from their website. The menu is straightforward and keep an eye out for the specials on the board. I had ordered a stuffed garlic bread as an appetizer and the cup and char as my main. The stuffed garlic bread was simply delicious. Dough was fluffy on the inside with the mozzarella and garlic, but then you have a nice burnt crisp of cheese from the iron pan...so good. As for the pie, I had a nice conversation with Cody and learned a bit on his custom blend of local ground and Italian flour in which he's on recipe #36!!! Nothing like a chef continuing to perfect their craft and it shows from the crust having a crispy and soft texture that handled the wood fire well. The cupped peps with the sauce and honey were a definite plus. Overall, I would highly recommend this pizza joint and would definitely return next time! read more

So, I finally made it to this little gem of a pizza spot on Park Ave. It's a cozy place, but they've got a mix of seating options, plus takeout if that's more your speed. And if you're at Apogee Wine Bar, you can actually order from here, and they'll bring your pizza over this is a new development. The menu has all kinds of pizzas, including specials, along with a small but solid selection of wine, beer, soft drinks, and even kombucha. We got to meet the manager while we were there, and the person taking care of us was also the one making our pizzas. They know what they are doing and the staff is friendly. We ordered three to share: the Cup & Char, Dill Pickle, and Cacio e Pepe with Lardons. All were excellent, and nearly everything is made in-house. Or everything is?! For an appetizer we got the Spinach and Artichoke Dip it's a must get. And we split a piece of Tiramisu that was scrumptious. They also have gluten-free and vegan options, so there's something for everyone. Honestly, this is the kind of place where you should just finish your pizza while it's hot. Leftovers if you have them put them in the air fryer. FYI this is a residential area so it's basically street parking. read more

As many of the other reviews said the quality of this pizza does not fall short. Absolutely delicious ingredients fresh quality, balanced flavor. Everything. They do have their own unique crust, which is a little bit more tender than I prefer, but it is still very good. I would love to have the options to have other toppings at the table such as red pepper or balsamic vinegar or fresh cracked black pepper to enhance it further or even offering it at the time when the pizza is delivered. All in all, I will definitely be back to experience many of the other delicious items that appeared on their menu. The service was excellent also and I enjoyed talking with my server Sam. Follow up here. Service is still solid and the pizza is still some of the best in Rochester, but I would stay away from the liquid blue cheese. I've never seen a blue cheese, pour like milk before. Was in town to bring my son to RIT. We rented an AirBNB just a block away. What do you know, this place was right there, we ordered from it THREE TIMES over the five days we were in Rochester. The staff is super awesome and friendly, and their pizzas are LEGIT. Great crust, great ingredients. Man, I miss this place. No lie, THREE TIMES over the five days we were there. Just go. Now. I came here with a group of six on a Friday afternoon and had a lovely time we ordered a variety of the pizzas to include the carnivore pizza the hot honey pepperoni pizza, and the puttanesca pizza. The crust was crunchy on the bottom, however chewy in the center, which was perfect for me. I felt like there was a really generous amount of toppings. Went again and had an even better experience. The pizza w the hot honey was the table favorite, and our favorite we've tried here so far. The star of the show was the meatballs, though. Buffalo chicken meatballs that were ridiculously good. Like one of the best things I've eaten in ROC. Comments ranged from "Oh my god!" to "Holy FUCK!" Service, as always, was friendly and prompt. Great find for GF pizza. Our adult children are GF, so this really was a hit. Great tasting pizza and they have a lot of options. Prices were good and we had ordered ahead and picked it up on our way home. Everything was ready when we arrived. Good prices and great value. read more

3.5 that I rounded up We did takeout, so my only comments on the restaurant itself are good location and looks cute inside. The food was ready quite promptly, pretty much had to leave our apartment to walk over right after I submitted the order. If you get two pizzas, it's enough for two people with a little left over. If you added a small plate, I think it would be enough for three people. Our selections were the Tommy V ($15) and the Cup & Char ($17). We definitely missed that the Tommy V doesn't come with cheese so that was a bit of a surprise, but some grated romano complemented nicely and the pizza had good flavor. We enjoyed the Cup & Char more, but we're also very much pepperoni people. The pepperoni could have been districted a little better and it was a bit burnt on one side. Overall, I'm not sure if this will become part of our regular rotation, but we'll keep our eyes on their specials. read more

Phenomenal wood fire pizza with a great serving size! I loved their Charmander Pizza most of all and I destroyed every delicious and spicy slice. I was also impressed the Cacio e Pepe pizza which seemed simple, but had amazing flavor. Just a heads up that since the pizza making is so manual that the time for takeout is a bit longer. We were told 15mins but it was roughly 30-40 - but it was well worth the wait! I would definitely order here again when I'm in town! read more

We had a large party and the service was great, very attentive. They offered to make things "kid friendly." LOVE the brick walls. There are tables and high top seating at a bar by the oven and one by the window. The food was great. We got meatballs, delicious. They garlic bread is cooked in a skillet and the cheese was soooooo gooey we had the best cheese pulls. We ordered 6 pizzas both brunch and dinner types. This place is a hit! It's a place where you can sit and enjoy some wine while also enjoying a Friday night pizza to end the week. The vibes are great. We were looking for a place with gluten free options and they have almost everything on the menu in a gf variation. We started with the potato salad which I wanted to try cause I love dill. It was good, although I feel like if the potatoes were mashed it would've made for a more satisfying, richer texture and would've been able to capture more flavor. The cup and char was excellent and they did not skimp on the honey so you get a perfect blend of the sweet and spicy. Crust was nice and crispy. The margherita pizza + onion extra sauce was fantastic. I loved the flavor of the pizza and spinach artichoke dip. The workers were so sweet and personable. The interior is so beautiful, clean, and welcoming. I think I'd like to eat at the location instead of getting takeway next time. I am excited to try the rest of the menu! **WARNING: this is not "traditional" Neapolitan pizza! it has a crispy crust throughout, not much "sogginess" as you get with real Neapolitan. im only putting this because i expected a doughy, airy crust but instead it was quite crispy! however, they don't claim to be an authentic italian spot so who cares! It was delicious!!!! i got the Margherita and the Puttanesca pizza, both were extremely good and i didn't expect to like a pizza that had no cheese..but wow that puttanesca had perfect red sauce... and perfect tomato's... and perfect...everything.... Margherita honestly didn't taste like other ones i've had (like i said, the pizzas are a bit different from classic italian style) but it was delicious regardless we shared 2 pizzas and a side between 3 people and it was fine, but i also have extremely skinny friends who eat like birds and we somehow had 2 pieces leftover...So take that as you will. (aka buy more pizza!!!!!) the appetizer special was a beet salad with goat cheese, cucumber, and mandarin oranges. i couldn't taste the cheese much which was fine; it was pretty refreshing regardless. my only complaint was that it could've used some salt the service was great, very cute waiter who helped us timely even when it got busy. the atmosphere was great in there and it was such a cute spot.
