A small to-go pizza place. Parking is on street. There are 2 tables indoors if you want to eat in. The man who helped taking my order was friendly. I ordered a small sicilian. Pizza took about 15 minutes. The dough was very soft and good. Wish the sauce has a but more flavor. Price is very reasonable

Great Pizza and wings. We got off plane from South Carolina and Ninos was the perfect 1st place to stop! We got the Locatelli pizza with Pepperoni and Bbq wings. Pizza was still great the next morning cold!

Me and Nino. Out Rochester way, asked for the BEST pizza in town and got it.

I heard this is where Jesus orders from. Ordered the Veggies Rule. How would anyone give this place less than 5? Some people are just born without taste buds I guess. Or they have a stick up their ass. And oh, the wings were the huge juicy and glorious kind. Yep, HIGHLY recommend.

The calendar on the wall is from May 1962. The pictures on the wall tell a story of a pizzeria as old as 1960s. The pizza is different that any other pizza in the area. Perhaps it is made with the same quality that they made it back in 60s. Delicious. Good price Quick update: tonight we had a large sausage, mushrooms and onion. It was only $20 - really good price. Very good pizza and very generous with ingredients. I am updating my review of Nino's to 5 stars. They deserve it.

Look at this beaut! Highly recommend getting the XL "special". We only had pepperoni this time, but they have some awesome toppings!

Sicilian style for the win. Good flavor, excellent crust, reheats well. Walking distance from my house and definitely some of the best pizza in Rochester - what could be better? Oh right, the $10.99 price point for an XL pizza (~4 servings) and the wonderful service! Ours came out to $14-something with pepperoni added on, but it's under the cheese and so, so good. Definitely worth it. A huge variety of topping options for the meat eater (housemade sausage!) to the veggie lover (roasted red peppers yes please!) to the satisfying both tastes (fresh roasted garlic!). Their website says they now deliver, but we weren't sure how so we walked over instead. If you have time to spare, hang out to talk with the owner. I can't remember, but I don't think he's the namesake. You can choose between English, Italian, and Spanish, though! I'll continue to support this staple in my neighborhood.

I'm going to replicate my "Nina's Custard" review from Buffalo with a few key changes The listed business name is actually a Yelp typo. The name of the place is "NIN's Pizza" and it's owned by Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails. I wrote a song for him, based on his own song "Closer", about his business. You let me smell and hold you You let me bend and fold you You let me gulp and eat you Your pepperoni meat too, so I... Yelp you, and photograph your insides Yelp you, you've got pizza to sell Yelp you, two slices always works for me (But you don't do slices, you only sell whole pies, so..) I need to share with somebody else I wanna eat you like an animal I want pizza to fill my insides I want the mozzarella dripping This whole pizza has been gnawed You get me closer to fat What to get: A small pizza with Pepperoni or whatever. Hope you enjoyed. I know I did. The pizza I mean. ;) I stopped here twice for slices, and both times they told me they don't have slices. I figured out they meant "ever" rather than "right now", so I decided to take the plunge and order a whole pie. Having looked at the menu (or rather, little baby furry orange Starlight looked at the menu as you can see from the accompanying pix), I thought we were in for a total of $8 or so, but alas it was "closer" to $10. It was a big, fluffy, juicy, hot, amazing, delicious pizza. It wouldn't make my "top 10" pizzas in Buffalo, but would definitely be top 20 or so. As for Rochester, it's probably my 4th fave in town, just behind Carmine's, and a little ways behind my faves which are "The Pizza Stop" downtown, and Henrietta-based "Joe's Brooklyn Pizza." The pizza at NIN's is extraordinarily gooey and extremely delicious. It'll go on my top list for the whole country, it's that good. It just so happens that the region is blessed with spectacular pizza, but this hits the spot and doesn't miss the mark. I can totally see what all the fuss is about, and think I might like the pizza more if I added more toppings, but that might get expensive. The service here is friendly, and the young guy in particular is really nice. The space is tiny with nowhere to sit, so get it for take out, and I think it's only open from 4pm-10pm. I was very upset that I didn't see Trent Reznor here. But they were offering me hot pizza. Would I bite the hand that feeds me pizza? No. Would I stay down on my knees? Yes, for this pizza. What. You've never been on your knees for some hot juicy thick greasy pepperoni? I can actually swallow the pepperoni whole, it's why boys love me. You should come in and give it a try. Skip the local chain Salvatore's, overpriced and not as good, and skip Papa John's and Pizza Hut and Domino's, which are owned by mega rich corporate types that have no connection to WNY whatsoever, and come here and give your pizza money to locals instead. Yum yum. What does an ambulance say when it's on its way to an emergency? Nino, nino, nino, nino. Let me guess. You don't get my stupid joke. That's fine. OK how about this. What kind of cherry gets popped around the back of this building? A "Nino Cherry." And it takes Seven Seconds. Get it? No? What do you mean it's "Neneh"? What kind of a name is Neneh? OK I'm confused. Sexually. But seriously. Any place that is named after Trent Reznor's band must be great. So get yourself down here. And get closer to fat. One of the top 4 slices in Rochester. Except you can't get slices here. But you know what I mean.

Been eating pizza from here for over 40 years - it's consistently the best pizza I've had in Rochester, and possibly around the country.

Authentic and great quality. You know it's Nino's if the crust is pinched in a couple of places.

We were quoted about a 40-minute wait for a table, but told bar seating might open up sooner (around 30 minutes). They took my number and we stepped outside to take a walk around the block while we waited. We ended up getting a text about the bar seat availability in about 15 minutes. Once we got seated at the bar, things turned around quickly. The space has a really cozy, intimate vibe with dim lighting, warm atmosphere and overall it feels thoughtfully put together. We ordered hot toddies to drink, which were perfect for the weather, and for food we got the Japanese sweet potatoes and the cavolo nero pesto. Both dishes were incredibly delicious - flavorful and well-balanced. Just be prepared for a wait (and maybe stay nearby instead of wandering off), but once you're in, it's a great experience!

We tried out Vern's for the first time on a Thursday evening! We made it there by about 5:00 PM and…read moreit was easy enough to get a table for 2 with only indoor seating available. It's a small space inside but it's designed well enough to manage a flow of traffic for customers and staff. We sat in the back greenhouse area. I think the least enjoyable part of our experience was how loud it was in the restaurant. Definitely not a good spot if you're trying to catch up with someone and your voice doesn't carry. I couldn't actually hear the specials the server was telling us. I want to try out Vern's again, so I may wait until there's an outdoor table or ask to sit in the second level to see if that's quieter. We tried one of their spring menu appetizer items, the Japanese sweet potatoes with kimchi ranch and dill. One bite and I was addicted, these were so so good. We then moved on to the classics for entrees -- bee sting pizza and the ragu-- and we were amazed at how good everything was! The only note we had was about the pizza, it was very soggy in the middle but still edible if you rolled it over in itself. We also had a few cocktails, and while they were somewhat small, you could tell they weren't watered down in any way. Two drinks was more than enough for me. Overall it was a great experience and we want to try it again. If you're someone who struggles to enjoy a meal out where you can't hear much, maybe wait for outdoor tables.
