CJ reviewed the job/quote and revised the low E glass to clear glass which was what my townhome had, resulting in a price savings. CJ went right to work. Plus, CJ helped me take out a full screen to clean that I was afraid of removing myself since I wasn't 100% sure of how it was clipped in. CJ let me know when he was going to take a lunch break. We hired Waukegan Gurnee Glass to perform an extremely complicated window replacement project that required the surgical removal of wooden window walls and 1/4" plate glass of over 40 feet in height that dated back to 1972. The openings were replaced with structural curtainwall framing and insulated glass panels. It was a difficult and demanding project that had to be performed in a fully occupied 80 unit building in the dead of winter. EVERY ASPECT of the project went perfectly and smoothly. The finished product looked exceptional and the owners of Waukegan Gurnee Glass were outstanding every step of the way. Then, He ghosted me for 45 days after continuously contacting him for a status update, as he was supposedly working with Provia, which he wasn't. Lies after lies. He is highly unprofessional in his business dealings and told me he would NEVER do such a thing to me in 1:1 conversations. Based on this, I entrusted him and gave him a $3500 deposit hoping that he would stand by his word and deliver the windows that I paid for. On top of it, He installed the windows incorrectly and they are leaking air and he doesn't want to own up to his worksmanship issues and fix the issues like a normal dealer would do. This is a company you want to stay FAR away from, as I have incorrect windows installed and he will not take care of any defects or issues with the window mfg. He has stolen my deposit and washed his hands from fixing the issues like a normal business owner should do. The quality of workmanship ... meh ..50/50 ie covering holes in the underlayment base with tyvek and tape in stead of cutting a patch/plug to fill the hole securely kinda slip shod ignore lots of small things no attention to detail..They charge TOP DOLLAR but really don't deliver they are actually a factory authorized dealer thats the main reason I choose them means nothing..Ive had smaller contractors do a much better job. Would I use them again or recommend . NOT !!!!!! They did call once last minute said they were on their way over to finish with no warning or heads up " we'll be there in 10 minutes" Problem was I was heading not of town and materials were locked up and I dont trust em to be alone had to cancel I had to cancel the appointment . Update So made it thru a winter unfinished and the some of the caulk is starting to separate going to have to be redone. I told her to save her company a trip that I would send pics of the spring assemblies so someone could potentially come prepared to fix on the quote trip. The quote person showed up between the 2 hours they were scheduled for. The person did not have the pics that I sent to Louise. They talked about replacing existing hardware with another window manufacturer. The quote guy, Steve, said their service people are in Rockford area 2-3 times per week. While I waited 2 days for the quote I googled replacing the spring hardware. Parts are available at Lowes and Home Depot for less than $50. The quote I got from this unprofessional small business was for $900. DO NOT ALLOW THIS COMPANY TO PROVIDE SERVICE ON YOUR WINDOWS

I took the top cover to LeWalt Glass and explained what I wanted. The gentleman cut the glass on the spot and I was able to set my lamp up at home. It looks great! They also replaced two glass kitchen cabinet doors above my stove. The original glass put in during my kitchen remodel a number of years ago was not the glass I envisioned for these cabinets. I decided to make the change while I was getting the glass for my floor lamp. I went home got one piece of the cabinet glass and brought it to them. I picked from their many sample choices. Again, they had the glass in stock and cut to size so I was able to install the new glass in my cabinets when I got home. They look amazing and the prices were reasonable!
