Since then, I've noticed water streaks on both sides of the new window after rain -- something that never happened with my old windows. This makes me question the quality of the installation. On top of that, after the windows were replaced, I found a lot of broken glass left all over my front yard. It was clear that no tarp was used to catch the debris, and I had to clean it up myself. For a professional installation, I expected much better care and attention to detail. Only one man handled the installed the window at the end, the others came and left which may have contributed to the sloppy work. Overall, I'm disappointed with the experience and the results.

Dave responded quickly to evaluate the project, he was attentive to my concerns and what I needed, and he presented me with a range of quality and price options. Based on my research and competing quotes, the cost for my chosen option was reasonable. I wanted better windows and I knew they would take a while longer to manufacture. Unfortunately, we were up against a deadline with winter coming and weren't able to sneak the job in before the weather turned consistently bad. It was definitely worth waiting for though. On the day of installation, the crew arrived on time, were very professional, and they did a fantastic job. I would definitely hire All Star again for another project based on price, quality, and service. I was hoping to repair them, but had a few companies come out (including McCann) and it appeared we need to fully replace them. McCann was the second company that came out and they sent Max. Max gave us a lot of good information on the best materials, sizing of the doors, etc. He recommended we go to the Pella showroom together to check out all the options, which was super helpful. Based on my experience with Max and Pella I was about to order doors thru them, but then got a quote that seemed quite high once they realized the doors would have to be a custom size and we would also have to customize for color (to match our other windows). I decided it was an expensive enough purchase that I should shop around some more and ended up going with another company. Overall, I found Max to be pretty responsive and knowledgeable when it came to doors/windows. While McCann didn't work for our needs this time they would be worth reaching out to for other window/door replacements in the future.

I really think MC Cain Windows is wonderful and I would highly recommend them. They are very customer service oriented which is why I am so surprised that they would recommend Boom Windows. Nobody answers the phone at this co. Apparently their employees think everyone is attached to their phones so they can call you on their schedule. I don't know about you but I am not allowed to walk around with a phone during working hours. I would get fired. This girl that called me has absolutely no customer service skills.It just so happened that I took the day off today. I answered the phone and thanked her for calling. She kept using the word explosion. I had no idea what she was talking about. I told her many times that I never had an explosion of any type at my home. I also told her that she must have me confused with someone else. She said she wanted to read me notes from an employee from 2919.I had no idea if this employee is even employed by this co. She said the word explosion again. I can honestly say I have never called this co. before. They never did any work for me nor did I have anyone to my house. Apparently their policy is that any employee can write anything about anyone and get away with it. There are so many scams today and an unstable individual is allowed to do this to a potential client. We all try to help small businesses but I find this appalling. I have no idea if there is a new owner or why this is allowed but this girl was out of touch with reality it how customer service operates. I personally will not do business that enforces a policy like this. I would think you would feel the same. She sets the tone. This is the first person you talk to. Would you want to do business with a co. that treats customers like this?
