What a great place. It was our first visit to Venezuelan restaurant and we absolutely loved it. Arepas are very good and super delicious. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Service is good and nice interior.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Definitely a place to come back to to try more other delicious food.

I love supporting small businesses so I was more than happy to try this cafe. The food is made to order which showed because it tasted nice and fresh. I'm not even a big fan of cheese but it didn't taste too heavy which means it's good quality. The arepa texture was just right. You could tell the food was authentic because of the family owned vibe. The service was spot on but since they cook to order, I wouldn't go if I was in a rush. Great experience!

Excellent find, great Patacon meals, like a tostada with a flattened crisp green plantain on top and bottom, stuffed with meats, slaw, and a savory sauce. Cachapa Chips with shredded cheese and nata (top level cream, like sour cream, but 10 times better. Saved on our map when doing errands in Orlando and Altamonte.

This was my first experience with an arepa and I wasn't disappointed..... one was filling enough and I was starving. The staff were nice and inviting while be attentive. Good flavor and service, worth a try if you are in the area.

AUTHENTIC AF! Cilantro garlic sauce is my favorite, and they literally put a WHOLE DANG BOTTLE of it on the table when they bring your food out. I got the Pabellon arepa and tequeños with guava... I could honestly eat this every single day and be the happiest camper. AND IT WAS EXTREMELY AFFORDABLE. You don't see prices like these anymore, and I'm so glad they are thinking of their customers in this aspect. The staff was attentive to our needs, and the food came out very quick. I even ordered another round of tequeños to-go because there is just something about these golden, melty, cheesey tidbits of heaven that make me feel like my life's problems have drifted away. I will def be coming back!

If you want homemade Venezuelan food, this is your spot. I decided to give them another try on a Monday and it wasn't busy at all so we got our food fairly quickly. I got the Carne Asada Arepa and the texture was perfect, and it was loaded with cheese which is just one of the few things I love about Venezuelan food (they love their cheese!) I ordered the four piece nugget for my toddler and an extra order of their rice and beans. Everything was perfect and I love that they give you an endless bottle of their signature garlic and cilantro sauces. At the end, I ordered a pepito to-go and a latte which came out good. Service depends on how busy they are, so be ready to wait on weekends or lunch rush.

Lugar pequeño que muy delicioso! Estuvimos visitando los parques en Orlando y queríamos un lugar venezolano para desayunar y encontramos este riconcito delicioso! Muy recomendable

Pure disappointment the server that took our order was pleasant & courteous. I ordered the tequenos gava & cheese. We got the cheese instead. When I told the server the mistake she just apologized she didn't offer to change it. Service was quick. I ordered the shrimp arepa with sweet plantain witch the shrimp was hard & rubbery. The garlic & celantro sauces we're delicious. My hubby ordered the perico an egg arepa which was cold. Yelp has a 15% check in witch she didn't honor because her boss was not in. So we will not be returning.

I've been craving arepas made like this for a minute now but it's hard to find a good one close by me. I had to travel for lunch today and been eyeing this spot so decided to make it a day. It's a bit down yonderville but I can now say it's worth the few mins drive out. I enjoyed how they allow you to build your own toppings on the arepa and all the toppings I got came together perfectly (shredded chix, red peppers, tomatoes, avocado, shredded cheese) yumm it honestly didn't even need the white or cilantro sauce because the chix is seasoned just well enough but you can add it for extra doses of flavor. I was also impressed with the type of cheese they use it did not feel heavy at all. So yummy. I also got a mango smoothie felt a bit rushed and had more milk than mango flavor but I still drunk it right up. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The real restaurant is under construction but they are still taking orders in their food truck right in front of the restaurant. So for me it's an order, grab and go situation.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Nevertheless, Il def be back for another arepa!

This place feels like home! As a Venezuelan living in the states for 20+ years, I always long for food that tastes like my abuelita made it. This is the closest thing i've been able to find that can compare to that deliciousness. I stumbled into this restaurant after work on a Friday & was pleased to find a small but cozy restaurant, with lively music & delicious smells inundating the space. The person at the counter was friendly & welcoming. I ordered the Pabellon with a Frescolita - one of my favorite Venezuelan pairings. Once ordered, it didn't take long for the food to come out. Taste was phenomenal! The only complaint I had was that I got a few chewy/fatty pieces of meat within my carne mechada. As a Veneuelan, i've made this dish before & its important to take all the fatty pieces out of the meat before seasoning it. This plate had quite a bit of them, but i was able to pick them out & still enjoy the dish. The plate came paired with some rice, black beans & fried plantains. I wish the beans came in a bigger portion, but that's selfishly because i could've eaten more of it. I also actually ate the fried plantains, which is rare for me since I almost exclusively only eat the fried plantains my Abuelita makes.

What a hidden gem! There are a handful of tables indoors, the plaza this restaurant is located in is a smidge sketchy looking but inside was clean and taken care of. We were seated immediately and our order was taken quickly. We tried four different arepas, fried sweet plantains and yucca fries. The server assured me that all the arepas are gluten free, along with everything else that we had ordered. He mentioned that the empanadas are not. I didn't check regarding the fryer being shared and should have for future knowledge but thankfully, I did not have a reaction. The pork and gouda arepa was my favorite, the pork melted in my mouth. I did like the plain cheese for second place and the chicken avocado came close. The plantains were perfect and the yucca fries were good, according to my husband and they had a few sauces to go with them. The portions were very good sized and the prices are great. We will return! I can't wait to try their Venezuelan breakfast next time.

Looking for places to eat on Yelp I came across this gem. It is small and not too obvious, and I am very happy to have came inside! It is a chill cafe, there is a little area for seating inside. I ordered the fried yuca and the vegetarian arepa. The fried yuca was very fresh and just right. The vegetarian arepa surprised me! I liked it more than I thought I would. The plantain inside the arepa was the cherry on top for me. I got their cilantro sauce, garlic sauce and mayo-ketchup. The garlic sauce was my favorite and I enjoyed it with both the yuca and the arepa. I look forward to trying more from this place!

DELICIOUS! Great small lunch spot - very little parking so be warned. This place has less than 10 tables so don't bring a huge group, but bring a huge appetite! We tried the lunch special under the impression that the listed item was an arepa...we were wrong. It was a platter of seasoned meat, rice, beans and some LTO with a few plantains. The meat was amazing and everything was fresh and delicious. I even liked the plantains which I usually don't love - they were crispy and sweet. I can't wait to go back and get an arepa! The staff was also very kind and helpful. It's obviously a family run business.

They also have lunch specials, which is nice. Cons- There is ALWAYS a weird perm smell when you go. It literally smells like someone is perming their hair, so not good. Another con is sometimes it takes long to get your food. And last but not least, I think their prices are not reasonable lately. Some of the prices do not match their menu, not sure when they raised their prices but I have never ever heard of a patacon costing almost $26 anywhere, and I frequent a lot of Venezuelan spots. Their name went from Q'Kenan restaurant to Q'Kenan Steakhouse so maybe now they just raised all the prices, I don't know. Their most expensive patacon on the menu is the one with Picańha and it says $17...yet I got charged 25.90. Regardless of how good something is, there shouldn't be a $9 difference from what is on the menu. That is absurd. On my last trip- $43 for an empanada, tequeńos and a patacon just doesn't sound right for Venezuelan food, and I come from living in Miami where restaurants are supposed to be more expensive. Add a tip and you're paying over $50 for street food. That's wild.

The Picanha steak was perfectly cooked and the tostones were some of the best I've had in a while! The arepas burriada was not what I expected (I've only had circular handheld arepas) but was absolutely delicious! Just a heads up, don't let the exterior confuse you, yes, it's attached to like an auto body shop or mechanic shop but you are in the right place. After we figured that out it was easy peasy. We really enjoyed our food, the burger was awesome and the arepas were messy, but yummy too. The arepas were cut all the way through which I previous had eaten them more as like a pita pocket with one end closed so the goodies fell out when I bit into it. The brisket was so flavorful! One thing was that the brisket had a lot of grease, I put a napkin under my arepas so that they wouldn't get soggy and the napkin was soaked. It didn't deter me from enjoying my meal though, it just made it a little messy. I know for next time to immediately put something underneath the arepa.
